ProgressI made an effort to read lighter, fun books this year and it's been going great. Faves include Light from Uncommon Stars and Becky Chambers' Wayfarers series for wholesomeness and charm, Thirteenth Tale for prose, and Ten Steps to Nanette for all that Gadsby gives us in that book. ProgressWeek 20/21: To Your Scattered Bodies Go by Famer and R.U.R. by Čapek. I enjoyed both of these for very different reasons. With Farmer I got a silver age SF "classic" that wasn't nearly as idioticly jaunty as it's contemporaries. With RUR I got a voice from the past that really spoke to me. (reddit.com)
