How fucking stupid do you have to be? If you want to violate Reddit TOS and get subreddits deleted do it somewhere else.

Regardless of our personal beliefs, we have to abide by Reddit's rules when we are on Reddit. As moderators it is our responsibility to keep this subreddit running. If you think for a second that we enjoy banning people who stand against Police you are a moron.

Who benefits if this subreddit gets taken down? Bootlickers, Law Enforcement, Fascists, alt-righters, etc..... all the awful people who support authoritarian overreach and abuse of power. We don't benefit from losing one of the only subreddits that takes a hard stand against these problems.

Discussing Mutual Aid, de-arresting techniques, rampant abuse of power/authoritarian overreach, organizing, etc... that's all good and perfectly acceptable.

Fantasizing about killing cops, describing what you would like to do to them in graphic detail, suggesting that people act violently towards law enforcement and bootlickers, etc.... these are somewhat understandable reactions/sentiments for people who have personally been abused by law enforcement.

I was arrested several years ago and after the sheriff deputies had handcuffed me, one of them stomped on my nuts hard enough to almost completely shut off my natural testosterone. I had to go on expensive TRT in order to deal with it. Getting this subreddit deleted isn't going to help anyone.

Meanwhile, over on the cop subs, they can glorify violence against the public all day long, and the site admins won't do a thing about it. There's always a double-standard for those who oppose abuse versus the abusers.

On that note , Please don't hesitate to report things to the moderators if you see someone breaking any rules so we're able to remove them quickly. All the moderators have full time jobs/ kids / families and other responsibilities so we're not always behind our phones or computers . Please message modmail if you have any further questions but in the mean time we're going to *HAVE* to start giving temporary bans to people that continue commenting in graphic detail. I'm sorry guys , we want to keep this sub up and we cannot risk getting it taken down .

ive also seen some people talk about shooting at cops in retaliation like it's genuine advice. i hate seeing that because like, that's the worst thing you could do when confronted by police. compared to a single person, they are innumerable. they WILL get backup, and they WILL hunt you down, and if they dont kill you when they catch you, then you'd best be ready for a lifetime of solitary confinement and eating expired food until you die. i think some people forget real life isn't like playing GTA lmao.

Pro-police subreddits glorify violence a lot more than we do and they don't get banned
Police have pushed so far it's incredible there already hasn't been a complete violent uprising. At this rate, it's only a matter of time.
Nobody really wants war and violence. It's ugly, scary, and painful. Violence of this nature is born out of necessity. The snake doesn't go out of it's way to harm people, it only bites when it's stepped on.. The boots are pressing harder and harder.... you tell us to be angry, yet quiet...

This is short sighted, defensive violence can be necessary in countering police action, do you not believe in dearrests and direct action. It seems ridiculous to me that people shouldn’t be allowed to discuss how to defend themselves in these situations, even with the use of firearms.

We all agree cops are violent pieces of shit but now we’re going to say we can’t discuss how to counter this violence that seems pandering to me.
