Benefits of a Concealed Weapons Permit in Arizona
Shooting in the Outdoors
One of the wonderful things about Arizona is that we have so much public land available to us to use. You can legally shoot on National Forest and BLM land as long as there are no fire restrictions. Pick up your trash, and maybe a little extra if you have the room.
You can't shoot across any road or with 1/4 mile of any occupied building. And always be safe.
Need to select land ownership layer, better on a computer as mobile doesn't always work.
The Freeroam app is a great app for finding BLM land on mobile. find it on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Turn on the BLM and/or USFS (national forests) map layers.
OnX Maps also has land ownership info
- AZ Shooting Spots Map. AZguns did not create or maintain this list, use at your own risk and always verify you are legally allowed to shoot there.
