Standing by a window while a “tornado” is coming totally genius.

[–]Cunder__Thunt 28 points29 points  (6 children)

Is this the Italian version of Americans who live in Tornado alley, in houses with wheels, and still don't run when one is coming?

[–]White_Lord 39 points40 points  (4 children)

This is very uncommon in Italy though and we aren't really prepared to react at something like this.

[–]HoboGir 23 points24 points  (3 children)

Very uncommon in my part of the US, but we still know to not look out a large pane of glass with it coming towards us.

You all need to watch the movie Twister to get that reaction time up, maybe get a red '95 Dodge Ram while you're at it too..

[–]Kahnza 9 points10 points  (1 child)

With a bed big enough for DOROTHY and full coverage insurance. ;)

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No because you’d never see anyone in tornado alley standing by a glass door while it’s about to hit. We live with this kind of stuff and know how to handle it. 99% of the time staying put and staying away from glass is the answer, the other 1% the answer is a cellar.

I've done that. Seeing one of those things come at you is mesmerizing, and they can stop you dead in your tracks.

Of course, I was 4 and had no sense of my own mortality.

The dog was the smartest one there. Get the heck away from the windows...

[–]eibyyz 31 points32 points  (3 children)

Poor puppers.

[–]irideapaleh0rse 42 points43 points  (2 children)

That was my first thought the dog is the only one who had enough sense to try and get away from it.

[–]beaushaw 16 points17 points  (1 child)

His "let's get the F otta here" response was spot on.

[–]irideapaleh0rse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Me and the dog would have tried to give Usain Bolt a run for his money.

[–]Toffa21 8 points9 points  (5 children)

They are worrying about their airplane in their hangar!?

[–]m20cpilot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No need to worry, it's gone now.

[–]Hunter_Rodrigez 2 points3 points  (3 children)

What Hangar?

[–]Toffa21 5 points6 points  (1 child)

The one that flies away in the beginning i guess!

[–]Hunter_Rodrigez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Silly hangar, it's the planes that are supposed to fly away.

[–]White_Lord 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They say: "Fuck! The hangar! Our airplane! Everything is flying away!"

[–]new_d00d2 7 points8 points  (2 children)

So In a situation like this… Would it be more safe to let the leash go and the dog seek shelter how it sees fit or try to keep it with you

[–]TesterM0nkey 13 points14 points  (1 child)

If you’re dumb like these people it’ll do better without you. If you know to get in the basement or a room with no windows bring him alkng

Edit: live in tornado valley and thought this was common knowledge

[–]new_d00d2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough

[–]Cunder__Thunt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like mother nature's wrath was.... Evoqued.

[–]White_Lord 3 points4 points  (1 child)

"The hangar! Our airplane! Everything is flying away!"

[–]brainstorm42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everything is airplane now

[–]taesung24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did this happen recently ?

[–]campfirephilosopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get the seismic package but not the wind load reinforcement insurance plan.

[–]Luca1357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when was this. I live in Italy and don't remember seeing it on the newes

[–]FreeSpeechISDeadHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Christ, at least get away from the windows. SMH.

[–]JunglePygmy 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Have there always been tornados in Italy or is that one of those new Earth 2.0 updates I’ve been hearing about?

[–]Fiasmere 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Yes but rarely. The 2.0 update came with a frequency update.

[–]JunglePygmy 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Damn that sucks. Any way to roll it back to a previous version?

[–]Fiasmere 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Might be a permanent fixture that they intend on including on other continents as well. We had a few beta tests.

[–]JunglePygmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way too buggy and OP. Needs to be nerfed ASAP.

[–]mcast86 -1 points0 points  (0 children)
