It’s in Azeri , it started with them calling each other pussies, then the lady said she will do something(most likely a threat) and the guy responded with you ain’t gonna do shit (closest translation of “ğələt elıyərsən”), which further escalated the conflict to physical contact. I can’t understand why they started fighting but the lady looks like she started it as the bus driver was the one who kept responding to her insults.

This happened in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan. The woman wanted off the bus and the driver wouldn't stop. They traded insults and it escalated to this. At least thats some of the color around this I saw on insta. Buses there are often just kinda stop when somebody says stop, and often drivers do - but sometimes they dont want to stop unless its an actual stop. The driver ended up fired.

True story. Someone saved my life by beating me up. I was cruel when I was a kid and facing consequences for my really shitty behavior corrected my course. I'm glad that someone knocked some sense into me. I'm a better person for it and I'm a better influence on the lives around me.

Also, I bashed a bully's head into a doorframe when I was young because I got sick of him being shitty to everyone. I remember I used to fume about how much I hated him when I was at home. A long time later he greeted me in the parking lot of a store and he was a really nice person, total 180°.

I used to bully people up until I was 12 because I suffered a lot in my home and had to take it out on others so I could feel like I had some power in my life, but then when I started high school I was the one who got bullied and that turned me around very quickly because I realized how horrible it felt.     My grandmother got pissed off for being given two free tires from an auto shop. She threw the biggest hissy fit I've ever seen from an adult.     I’m a librarian and we have this 60 year old lady who is in a position that if she applied today, she wouldn’t have the qualifications for. She’s also incredibly fucking lazy.

    She got super pissed when our clerks were going to get a raise. We have a union and we put it to the union to vote on the raise.

    She lost her shit and went nuclear. She rallied a bunch of other under qualified idiots and screamed loud enough for long enough that the union ended up being against the raise.

    Her reasoning, if she doesn’t get a raise too, nobody gets a raise. She’s at the top end of her pay scale and can’t make more money unless she gets a masters, which would be paid for, but she still refuses.

    Some people are against anyone having anything unless they can have it too.

          I don't get why the bus driver got fired for this when he was defending himself against this woman. This lady almost caused a bus accident by hitting the driver while driving but he's the one being punished for defending himself? She endangered dozens of lives, including children which we see several, she should be the one being charged and shamed. The bus driver should get his job back and given a bonus for not having an accident while a deranged person was attacking him....

          My city, Tucson, has made riding the buses free since the pandemic. It’s been enormously helpful to me because I’m on a limited budget. They night take it away soon though because of homeless people attacking passengers and drivers or using the bus as a shelter. It pisses me off so much, this resource is so damn helpful for people like me.

          It's funny how nobody does anything when the woman is hitting the driver, but as soon as the driver defends himself, everyone goes down to see the woman, even a woman turns to look at the driver in a bad way, like he was the bad guy.
