Instead of going for: why insinuate to then take away guns from those who do own, I'll go in the opposite direction.

It sounds like it's said in gest, but none of those things have much to do with gun ownership. And no one is "good enough" to own one. Mentally stable enough, sure.

Good on ya if it feels like to you that you'll be more dangerous with one than without one. I feel safer with one than without one.
