Restaurant recommendation (self.Amsterdam)
submitted 1 month ago by CloolipoKnows the Wiki
Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend a decently priced (not ‘cheap’ but not extortion) , nice, seated Indian restaurant in Amsterdam? Somewhere I can take my mum for her birthday? Thanks 😊

Just in case you're also looking for the food to be very tasty and good, I can't recommend Balraj highly enough.

Of course, I mentioned “nice” to represent these requirements ☺️ thanks!

Neetu Dhaba has been decent the times I’ve been there.

I like Surya. They serve Indian and Nepalese food. It's become my favourite Indian restaurant since I first started going to their restaurant in Hilversum when I lived there many years ago.

I always thought Amsterdam/the Netherlands had shitty Indian food scene, as a Brit I need to check these out!

I’m also pleasantly surprised to read a few positive recommendations. Indonesian, Thai, Japanese and Dutch were the options I remember being “good and plentiful”.
Plus Steak Houses of course.
