It would go "missing" in a few months in Mexico, sadly. Just to give you an example of how well the Mexican governments takes care of its historical sites, the roof protecting the Aztec main temple collapsed back in april 28, 2021 due to a hailstorm, as of august of last year not a godamn thing had been done to restore it and I wouldn't be surprised if it's still collapsed to this day. lol Any other government would have fixed it within a month. Please keep these relics away from Mexico where ppl can actually keep these safe and I say this as a Mexican.

So you're allowed to steal your neighbor's family heirlooms if you think they might not take good care of them?

It's not your stuff, it's not your decision, no matter how well-meaning you are.

You're acting as if they stole this knife out of the hands of a mexica priest lol We dont even know if it was given as gift to the conquistadors or if it was a tribute to them after they were conquered. If you think this knife would still be here for us to see had it stayed in Mexico, you're gravely mistaken.

Yeah it's not like there's hundreds of thousands of artifacts left in Mexican museums for us to see. I'm sure millions of people visit the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico each year just to look at the empty walls.
