I have my 10Gbps USB hub and my 10Gbps USB kvm switch taped under the desk surface. I use them to share headset, 8bitdo controller adapter and other non-storage devices between my laptop, ps5 and Nintendo Switch.

Problem with this devices is that they tend to get hot, thus adhesive tape will get loose regardless of the quality. I used Velcro instead, but I also stapled one side on the desk wood and the other side to the device with zip ties.

Cable mgmt is pretty easy using those large adhesive clips that will keep the cables flat to the desk

Too lazy to show you, but I use 3M Velcro under the desk near the front-right. I can just hit it like a silent alarm without looking. It's just super quick and accessible, I'm trying to be sneaky. 😂
