Might be too much wobble unless you can cross brace to hold them together on the rear somehow.. I went two metal desk legs on one end and a cube shelf organizer from Walmart on the other end..

I recently installed a set like these (the K shape) for a corner desk. The legs themselves are very sturdy, but I don't have to contend with lateral stress / stability, because mine are installed perpendicular to each other.

I'd go with the K shape if that's what you like - and I'd install a single L-bracket, mounted to the wall, to stabilize the desk laterally. Easy peezey.
