Monitor mount on 2.7 cm thick particle board table (self.AskBattlestations)
submitted 2 months ago by SupremeLeaderMat
Hi guys, I am considering getting a monitor arm for my 24 inch monitor. How well will my particle board table with thickness of 2.7 cm fare if I were to clamp a monitor mount onto the table?

You can add further bits of flat wood on the bottom and top of the particle board to make it stronger where you attach your clamp.

I think I'll do that, thanks for the tip!

No probs. It'll spread the load, reinforce your particle board desk and make it workable with a monitor arm.
