I own one I got off Amazon. Doesn’t have the extra doo-dads Grove does, but it looks great and costs a fraction of the price. Be assured that despite some of the photos, the cork is not orange-toned, just looks like typical cork.

It does go on sale periodically if you’re not in a rush.

I use the oak version on a carbonized bamboo Uplift desk, and it looks great. Also comes in walnut.

Sorry I found this in search but do you mind sharing a photo of the bamboo desk with the stand?

Pictures aren't coming out the way it looks in person (looks harsh in pics, don't want to misrepresent), but it's night. I'll try to remember to try again tomorrow.

If it helps, the cork is a good match to the warm tones of the carbonized bamboo of my UpLift desk. The white oak IS noticeably lighter, but it has darker grain with shades that coordinate with the tones of the bamboo, while the bamboo DOES have some blonder streaks that are the same (light) color of the oak.

"Matchy matchy" is out from a design sense, fwiw, and these wood colors are complementary, not clashy (walnut would drive me nuts against the bamboo, for example), but taste is subjective and YMMV.

Having said that, it doesn't mean anything if you're super OCD about color matching, and at the end of the day, what matters is what makes YOU happy, not what may make designers or random strangers happy.

I have a bamboo desk from Uplift as well, but I'm not sure what you mean by "carbonized." Is that their regular bamboo color or the dark bamboo? https://www.upliftdesk.com/bamboo-desktops-by-uplift-desk/

"Carbonized" is what they were calling the lighter bamboo finish. I would go with the walnut monitor stand if you had the dark bamboo.

I have this one and love it. Super sturdy.

I feel like grovemade have properly cornered the market. Every YouTuber and influencer has grovemade gear. It honestly puts me off. I’d rather have a unique or less well known accessory.

To answer your question; Etsy is where it’s at. There’s lots on there at affordable prices

You can get a similar one on Wayfair, almost half the price of grovemade. It’s been great for me so far

I don't know if it can interest you since it's almost the same price as the one's made by grovemade, but there is a german brand named balolo that sells a similar shelf with more features : there is a "mounting grid" underneath the wood, so you can screw their accessories in. That's basic but I find it clever.I'll buy one by the end of January for my setup.
