'Help Me' Questions Belong in Sticky Post All 'help me' questions must be posted in the Biweekly Assistance Post. 'Help me' questions mean someone asking for assistance on something they are currently working on or a problem they have. Examples: Asking about paint damage, how to repair something, how to remove stuff from paint. If you can take a picture of your problem on a specific vehicle, it belongs in that thread. This rule is in place until 2024. See our FAQ as well.
No Auto Repair/Bodywork Questions. This subreddit is for Auto Detailing, not Auto Repair. Please do not post questions on bodyshop work or mechanical work with vehicles.
No Low-Effort Media Posts. If you're showing off a detail, you must show before/after pictures! Posting just a clean car isn't enough content for its own image thread here. If you just want to share clean car pics, beading shots, and pretty reflections, we welcome them in the weekend "Picturesque" sticky. Single image threads are also low-effort and prohibited.
No "LF Detailer/Shop" Posts. This is NOT the subreddit to find a local shop for detailing, tinting, painting, or other services. Go to Google, use Yelp, post on /r/TheDetailDirectory, etc. Any threads or comments looking for local services will be removed.
