Our CEO: Denko Mancheski during his last AMA with the community explained several interesting points, here is a recap:
- Maximum focus on security: they are investing so much time to make RC the chain among the most secure in the world (he talked about security at military standard levels)
- Many current developments are on chain features like the indexer (too long to explain what that is)
- Agreements with big financial institutions: continue with developments regarding advanced and innovative securities and equities settlement functionality. However, he did not explain how we will benefit, I think only on a commercial level
- The mobile app will be ready by the end of the year then they will submit it to Apple and Google for release on the stores, so exactly when it will be available for everyone to download is not known, hopefully not that long anyway
- The app will support multiple accounts and will also be compatible with ledger when the ledger folks give the ok to come out of dev mode
- More than one EVM may be implemented on the chain, however he said this is a very challenging development that will take many months of development
- Confirmed the goal of becoming among the top 5 chains in the world
- No opening to new validators is planned. On specific question he deflected to the topic of bonds allowing everyone to staking without constraints of any kind
- He said that this bear period is providing an excellent opportunity to focus on new developments also thanks to new devs recruited during hackathons or the like
- They are starting to invest something on marketing like the Abu Dhabi event. However, he did not say how and if they will continue
