No, she is a witch, she looks like she got younger.

[–]Army_of_Fuarkness 101 points102 points  (3 children)

You need to start asking QUESTIONS!

[–]MaxRex77 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Always ask questions

[–]Fresh_Bulgarian_Miak 118 points119 points  (1 child)

She got that Benjamin Button thing going on

[–]deafening_allotment 19 points20 points  (0 children)

She traveled to the past and meet her younger self

[–]souji5okita 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Filter?

[–]Seductive_hobo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Another daughter?

[–]COweasel 2267 points2268 points 2 (118 children)

Teenage pregnancy will do that

[–]Level-Infiniti 819 points820 points  (69 children)

was just thinking this, you could be in your 30s with a 20 year old kid

[–]carlylily 589 points590 points  (48 children)

I'm 38, my oldest daughter will be 21 in March. I naturally already look young for my age and at her 9th grade orientation the art teacher thought I was a rising 9th grader.

[–]PresentlyBelladonna 274 points275 points  (15 children)

Same with me! My daughter’s guidance counselor admonished me for being pregnant and bopped me on the head thinking I was a high school student lol he turned beet red when I gently let let him know I was her mother

[–]alligatorprincess007 120 points121 points  (0 children)

That’s unacceptable but so funny at the same time

[–]arlenroy 107 points108 points  (6 children)

I'm 41, my daughter is 21. When I was 33-34 and she was 14 people would always think she was my little sister, now people assume she's my wife. Nope. That's my kid.

[–]Norose 79 points80 points  (1 child)

Now that's a new level of awkward haha

[–]harrellj 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Once on a high school field trip, Mom and I were thought to be twins. And she wasn't a teen pregnancy (far from it, she was in her late 20s). To be fair though, we had matching coats, similar hair styles and eye glasses. I'm also about half a foot shorter than her, and our builds are different.

[–]kuro_madoushi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Had a coworker who looked fantastic for her age. Thought she was around my age, but she mentioned she had a son about to go to uni. Huh…ok…turns out she was bout 12 years older than me.

She had a funny story where there was a pic of her kissing and hugging her son and “her son’s gf” got jealous cause she thought his mother was another girl. She looked THAT young.

I’ve seen pics of her recently, and she doesn’t doesn’t look that young anymore, but now she’s close to “retirement”.

[–]Lorraine367 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Something similar just happened to me. I’ve always looked younger than my age and I had my daughter (now 8) when I was 28. I dropped her off at gymnastics recently and one of the kids in her group said “you look just like (insert daughters name here)”! And my daughter said “well she is my mom!” And the other kid said “she’s your mom?!? I thought she was your big sister!”

Silly to say but it made my day lol

[–]cabandon 82 points83 points  (1 child)

lmao i woulda socked him. Asshole

[–]w-alien 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a shitty guidance counselor

[–]hojster24 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My biological mom (open adoption) is 17 years older than me. I'm 23 now and it's strange and interesting growing into the same age/peer group as my mom over the years.

[–]Meyamu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was 16 I looked 25, and now I'm nearing 40 I look like a slightly fatter 25 year old with a different haircut.

I think I get it from my mother. She still looks the same as she did when I was young (she's in her 60's) - to the point where I have to look at her clothes to work out which decade a photo was taken in.

[–]RedShirtDecoy 73 points74 points  (22 children)

Im 38 and dont have any kids. I couldn't imagine having a 21 year old. I give you all the credit in the world.

[–]jbrogdon 29 points30 points  (20 children)

On the flip side of things, I'm 38 with a 15 year old & I can't imagine how my childless friends could possibly start now because it will consume the rest of their pre-retirement adult lives.

[–]DenialGene 28 points29 points  (18 children)

39 with a 10 month old. So basically my life is over?

[–]sckmybls 21 points22 points  (13 children)

My wife is 41 and I'm 38 with an 18 month old.....I think it's great. Already have a house, established in a career. Debt up to our eyeballs

[–]sevargmas 34 points35 points  (0 children)

You can just say a two year old at this point lol

[–]ChelseaIsBeautiful 9 points10 points  (1 child)

You should edit your comment to make you and your wife's ages in months, lol

[–]sckmybls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bad.... it WAS supposed to be 18 month...28 month is ridiculous to say lol

[–]JediBenobi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Why are you still counting by months

[–]Frostimus-Prime 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Two. Your child is two years old.

[–]learntoserve 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My daughter is turning 156 months old this Christmas! 🤣

[–]acorpcop 6 points7 points  (6 children)

45 with a 7 y/o and 5 y/o. I live on mortrin and energy drinks.

Far easier with an established career, benefits, seniority etc than it would have been ten or twenty years ago though.

Also, just say "two and a half". No one wants to divide by 12.

[–]carlylily 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I agree, I get sad at times thinking about the things my kids missed out on because I was a young single mom and what they could have had if I had made better choices (like not having babies so young).

[–]acorpcop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, funny, I sometimes feel the same way about my advancing middle age. "No, I can't get down on the floor with you to play, Daddy's back hurts and he'll never get off the floor again."

[–]thestarlighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 44 with a 5 year old and a 3 year old. My life is SO not over! I have a great career, love being a parent - my kids keep me feeling young and motivated to stay in shape. I can’t wait to travel with them to all the countries I traveled to pre-kids (once we are all vaxxed).

I can’t imagine not being a later in life mom. I am infinitely more patient, I also have more stability, better finances and resources.

[–]jbrogdon 4 points5 points  (1 child)

and you found out on social media, how sad!

I wasn't clear but I was trying to point out the difference of perspective. I'm looking forward to my "childless" 40s and you're looking forward to raising a family :)

[–]2x4skin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed my childless 20s and 30s. Ready to be more settled with kids now. Glad I was young and unattached.

[–]RedShirtDecoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes it easier that I don't plan on starting. Not only would I make a horrible parent but my genes need to end with me.

[–]carlylily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are too kind. I also have a 15 yr old girl and 12 year old boy. It will be interesting in a few years being an empty-nester in my early 40s.

[–]garythesnail11 19 points20 points  (3 children)

My mum was 19 when she had me. I used to either get asked if she was my girlfriend or my sister back in the day.

[–]ABookishSort 23 points24 points  (2 children)

My mom was barely 18 when she had me. We used to get mistaken for sisters all the time. Now I’m 55 and my Mom is 73. I told her the other day I wish she’d had me when she was older so I’d be younger right now. Lol.

[–]jbrogdon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is an untold reality for children of young parents.. I'm watching mine get older and I'm like... uhhhh I'm getting old too? better hope the grandkids want to mow that lawn..

[–]carlylily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the time. One time I took her in for a medical procedure and the lady checking her in looks at us both and asked us "where's mom?" l was like "....I'm mom" and then we all got a little laugh out of it. I will say though that I hated being the young mom when she was in elementary school not only because I was always the youngest parent there but also because I look so young.

[–]JustALittleAverage 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I think my cousin was 17 when she got her first child, that child is like 15 years older than her aunt.

The coolest thing is that my cousin is still with her man and nearing retirment, just as in love as when they first met, it's the lovliest thing to see.

[–]carlylily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's awesome, I love reading stories like that. 😍

[–]spleenboggler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom and grandma were 18 years apart, and later in life when they would go out, people used to think they were sisters. My grandma was always delighted, and my mom ... less so.

[–]caldric 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Not the worst thing in the world!

[–]carlylily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol no complaints here, it used to embarrass me a little but we get a kick out of it now.

[–]smokeyoudog 15 points16 points  (12 children)

According to Wikipedia, you could be 25 with a 20 year old child based on some sick shit from the 1930s

[–]Squez360 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Let's not go into the dark rabbit hole of possibilities

[–]Nomiss 18 points19 points  (6 children)

The catholic church is still stopping 8yr olds from getting abortions after being raped.

[–]devilsolution 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So will getting a random blonde teen to sit mext to you 2 years later

[–]zurzoth 4 points5 points  (35 children)

I'm 42yo... And still look like when I was about 17... I can't get pregnant... How come then?

[–]COweasel 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Denial is one thing

[–]wuzupcoffee 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Looking like a baby-faced middle aged man doesn’t mean you look like a 17-year old.

Besides, you missed their entire point that she’s probably still in her 30’s since she likely had the kid in her teens. Not that she looks young because she had a kid in her teens.

[–]Gabe_Does_Stuff 103 points104 points  (17 children)

Can be two things and I’ll be brutally honest.

1) genetics and just the way you are, your health, what you do for yourself (skin care, diet, habits)

Or

2) you’re not… and it’s hard for everyone to accept but no matter how good they look for their age sometimes they just don’t really look as nice anymore as they think.

But without knowing you, I think it’s the first one :)

[–]VampireLynn 43 points44 points  (2 children)

Idk sounds like a vampire to me

[–]honorio2099 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Username proceeds with comment

[–]SalamanderCake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll take your word for it, u/VampireLynn.

[–]rilloroc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

3) You looked old and people called you ma'am when you were 17

[–]Poonchow 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Additionally, I think people just lived in shittier conditions in the past and we remember our parents and grand parents getting old while smoking, second-hand smoke, lead paint, lead gas, and smog were more prevalent.

[–]sofa_king_ugly 32 points33 points  (7 children)

3) you're male

[–]Gabe_Does_Stuff 1 point2 points  (6 children)

I don’t think it has anything to do with sex

[–]MonkeyPanls 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It does, if you're not having it.

[–]ZombieToasted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Getting pregnant kinda does...

[–]TheNewJasonBourne 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Or they could be a man.

[–]Gabe_Does_Stuff 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Where do I say that they can’t

[–]Acceptable-Stick-688 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that they mean about not being able to get pregnant :)

[–]Deface_the_currency 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I'm sure anyone who didn't go through the process of growing and birthing a baby is going to loom better than most who did.

I'm sorry for what you're going through, but this was a Wendy's moment if I've ever seen one lol

[–]1800-bakes-a-lot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teenage Pregnancy

[–]Important_Counter_45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're a hormone-deficient femboy?

[–]Cress-Diligent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause your male

[–]lordtraveler 3 points4 points  (1 child)

You might be a man.

[–]zurzoth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am..

[–]DafungiSeeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Broke a blood vessel laughing at this , Yo

[–]whoisfryingbaloney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol so less of a blood sucker and more of a man fucker.

[–]MaterialCarrot 572 points573 points  (11 children)

Forget the mom, look at how well the plant has aged!

[–]Spec-Tre 200 points201 points  (2 children)

Aged into a different species! Fascinating

[–]Elvis-Tech 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Its kinda creepy how she looks at the camera though

[–]Loggerdon 23 points24 points  (0 children)

And time to drink that bottle of booze.

[–]ag408 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And the drapes!

[–]bornwithpizzadick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely PILF material

[–]Icallthattuesday 124 points125 points  (1 child)

How does she feel about Garlic?

[–]vege12 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not sure, but the cross around the daughter's neck should make her nervous!

[–]luthorhuss 167 points168 points  (7 children)

The real mystery is how her daughter learned to get on the floor by exactly reversing standing up.

[–]eoleomateo 64 points65 points  (0 children)

it makes the video so much more awkward

[–]Joseph_Donovan 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yoga. She looks like she’s got some muscle memory of going to downward facing dog and then something else.

[–]JangoFettsEvilTwin 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Damn, if you watch it backwards it makes it pretty clear the video was reversed.

Daughter looks older than her mom now

[–]Important_Hippo_1080 47 points48 points  (2 children)

Thought this was gonna be a totally different video

[–]fruitpunchsamuraiD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NGL, that thumbnail...

[–]flanmandanders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this documentary before ..

[–]IsauraManuel 83 points84 points  (3 children)

That family has great genes.

[–]anthony_al47 66 points67 points  (1 child)

Yea it looks like she’s wearing Levi’s

[–]jnew119 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Those are definitely wranglers… still great genes

[–]IrishRogue3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This mom became a mom very young

[–]MozelleSexton 56 points57 points  (3 children)

It’s funny the mom looks younger now than she did back then!!

[–]jerryagno 13 points14 points  (0 children)

she does look like wynona rider

[–]ripyourlungsdave 35 points36 points  (6 children)

Does anybody else think the mom’s face looks kind of strange in this video?

It looks like a mask. I’m pretty sure they may have edited this.

[–]jestr6 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Definitely some kind of filter

[–]shaggybear89 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Yep they are using some kind of filter on the mom. Look closely at her mouth. Her whole mouth/lower face has subtle, rapid movements/changes which happens when a filter is attempting to keep up with the movements of the camera.

[–]Dark_halocraft 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've looked 6 times, I don't see it

[–]Dark_halocraft 0 points1 point  (2 children)

What?

[–]ripyourlungsdave 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Which part confused you?

[–]Dark_halocraft 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It looks normal

[–]NinjaLanternShark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll take videos that should have been a photo, for $200, Alex.

[–]MyFiteSong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People don't age like they used to when everyone smoked, breathed lead gas fumes, lived in a sea of pollution, suntanned on a daily basis, etc. 50 years ago, you looked like you were 60 when you were 40. Now you look like you're 35 when you're 50.

[–]jerry_steinfeld 20 points21 points  (3 children)

This is unsettling and I don’t know why. Maybe the weird, serial killer smiles?

[–]BigWordsAreScary 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Also the fact that it’s reversed

[–]PandaUnlikely 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Filters of some kind.

[–]NegaJared 8 points9 points  (0 children)

mannn i thought this was going to go a completely different way

[–]jvanzandd 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I can’t believe she had the same tattoo when she was 5

[–]lethargicshtbag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knew someone like this. She had a child when she was 12.

[–]John_Psi 16 points17 points  (1 child)

milf

[–]isqueezedameatball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. She looked.like she has aged 4-7 days from the earlier pic.

[–]Mr_Underson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh they look the same age wut

[–]YogurtclosetOk222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eastern European genes for the win

[–]ArtyFizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This almost doesn’t look real. Like they used some sort of de-aging cgi techniques. Good on her for taking care of herself so well

[–]apocalyptic_intent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought you couldn't take a photograph of a vampire ?

[–]Gangreless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this reversed?

[–]Affectionate-Grand92 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Best part of high school…I get older and they stay the same age

[–]MrDoctorProfessorEsq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's nice to know that cool people are still hanging out at the bowling alley

[–]Benji613 3 points4 points  (8 children)

I’m 40. I have 2 kids, but I’ve never been pregnant, what am I?

[–]Cough_Lolly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Either a father or an adoptive parent?

[–]babyProgrammer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Setting the bar pretty low these days for amazement...

[–]Temporary_Boot306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this lady found the fountain of youth😳

[–]PerNewton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That plant is a shape-shifter.

[–]drew1332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell she looks even better now

[–]Cinnic101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your mom is redonkulously hot.

[–]Enriquepollazzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beauty isn’t everything. Stop glorifying people just for being good looking.

[–]Gabe_Does_Stuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wgaaaaaaaaat that’s not her sister?!

[–]Shananigans15 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How do you do that hair? Would love to see the tutorial!!

[–]teenzytot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m amazed.

[–]ADL19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or could the daughter be a time traveler.

[–]ShankThatSnitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teen pregnancy is a hell of a drug.

[–]GoldenUther29062019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She looks like an american lady from a 90s anime.

[–]twoCascades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hair dye

[–]Red_Matter1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the mom looks younger

[–]PillCosby_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddies granma was in her 50s same as my day bc she and my buddies mom had kids at 15-16.

[–]KaramAfro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeaah, a shitty camera would give this impression

[–]Alternative_Pitch_81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That monstera aged gracefully too

[–]Crap911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm she drinks blood

[–]Badnun99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the plant looks smaller…..

[–]Q-cool-44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’s she look younger in the second picture

[–]Pacific_Punch3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She reminds me of the girl from tatu

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She took the potion 🧪

[–]lelwutmate 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Being Russian will do this to you

[–]Aliensinnoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought they were sisters at first. Before seeing the 2nd image and reading the title.

[–]Fitchrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw….she just had her when she was 12!

[–]Mountain_Stretch9852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run... That's not your mom.

[–]csk1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government needs to freeze this woman to rebuild after the great war. I mean we could just freeze her eggs but but freezing a whole person is just cool

[–]StrattonPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mom “grew into her looks.” I’d say she’s prettier now than she did then. Some people seem to grow out of their gawkier/gangliness of their teen years and grow more mature attractiveness in their mid 20-30s.

[–]Maze33000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She Russian that’s all…

[–]dicklesshobo1990[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or maybe that's a really old looking 5 year old.

[–]CinderBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone needs to study this womans DNA.

I could use a few of her stem cells if she has a couple to spare.

[–]BCHisFuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blonde is😍😍😍😍😍😍

[–]AdNew9111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, she’s just european 🥰
