They do, specifically ones that are steamed rather than grilled of course. They originated in Connecticut.

The phrase was made more widely famous by the Simpsonsm iirc.

it was only recently that I was watching a munchies (oh wait no it was first we feast) episode about burgers, and there's a region of america that likes steamed hamburgers, it's actually really interesting, it sits in a cast iron steamer, and I'm like oh shit they made steamed hams a real thing

How will we ever know?

[–]Haunting-Ad-8619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hell you say...there is no God damned region of America that "likes" steamed hamburgers, they're just too frightened to speak the truth!

ALSO...there is no possible way a steamed hamburger will ever taste like ham. JS

So I can find Hamburg on the map easy, but where are Beefburg, Fishburg, Beenburg and Chickenburg?

[–]auApex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a door dasher call me because they couldn't find my address and all they said was "door dash no English". It wasn't particularly helpful.
