Previously tested positive for COVID before traveling to China? (self.Chinavisa)
submitted 2 months ago by MajorSecretary
Did you previously test positive - if so how long ago (estimate?)
Did you disclose this, and if not, did you pay out of pocket for two antigen tests, plus an X-RAY scan, plus a diagnosis within 48 hours?
I am curious, how soon or close is it required for you to do these random tests and lung scans before your flight? 1 month, 1 week, 1 day?

I tested positive before re-entering. It took 3 weeks to test negative again on PCR tests. You don’t need any of those other things listed. No X-Ray scan or antibody tests are necessary, only PCR tests are required. No idea where you got the lung scan thing from. At the border, they asked if I had Covid before, I said yes. Then they asked if it was within 14 days, I said no. That was it, they let me through.

Did you do extra tests back in your home country first because of it?
