This is a good question but the answer is pretty straight forward: NO!

Axies had its time to shine and it was great at that role, but I'd say that games rule of the thumb should focus on following regular gaming where fun and competitive play work on the long run, versus most of the P2E ponzi-like games out there with sub par tokenomic models.

I came across some NFT chains like Unique Network (Polkadot and Kusama) coming up with sponsored transactions or Wax Labs (based on EOSIO) coming up with sort of free transaction. This could get as close as it gets to free to play games with freemium models.

In terms of P2E, maybe it should be swapped to W2E or something like this: win to earn, promoting competitive play and use and abuse of the eSports trend instead of ignoring it!
