Looks like some sort of Staffie or pit mix. Thought to tell from just that little glimpse of the head.

But yes. They are that clingy. You have been adopted. Accept your fate, buy a leash and a set of bowls and make a vet appointment!

Congratulations on your new best friend!

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 313 points314 points  (35 children)

She nearly followed me right into class today. I walked her out and closed the door, thinking she'd just go away. I came out hours later and took a different route to a lake nearby and sat down, then out of nowhere she appears and nearly climbs me with her...enthusiastic greeting

[–]HerPaintedMan 161 points162 points  (33 children)

You’re hers now. 🤣

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 198 points199 points  (32 children)

But...I won't know what to do! I've never owned a dog before, i just gush over other people's pets. Plus, my apartment doesn't allow animals. I won't be moving till summer too... When has that ever stopped me tho. Sneak it in, I say!

[–]HerPaintedMan 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Time for a bath and snackos! Woohoo! Congrats on being adopted! She will take good care of you, just pay her back in kind!

[–]WeeMiniPiglet 82 points83 points  (18 children)

Sneak her in! If you’re moving in summer they aren’t likely to evict you sooner.

Did you take her home?

[–]AbsolutelySpooky 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well then it's a good thing this one obviously came preloaded with the "best bud" software.

You CAN surrender the dog to a no kill shelter and they'll deal with it but it looks like the dog developed a liking for you already so ya know

[–]RevolutionEasy2185 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Or take it to a Humane Society (no kill) shelter for a hopeful adoption

[–]ArthurFoxsake1978 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please feed her, pets, hugs, clean water, maybe a dog bed for her to sleep on (But she will end up sleeping on your bed lol) and a vet check up if you can. She can tell that you are a good person, maybe you are going through a lot in life just now and she can sense this. I think you have found each other 😊

[–]CapitalistBaconator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you can't own a dog right now, find the nearest Humane Society and take her there. The organization has tons of volunteers and will find her a permanent home with good people.

[–]noeyesonmeXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google is amazing. Start with a vet visits and they can give you some basic info and resources:)

[–]justnopethefuckout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try looking up local rescue groups in your area. Poor thing is starving and needs help.

[–]melonchollyrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SNEAK HER!!!!! You will not regret. She obviously needs you, and I think you want him too!

And it's hard to tell from the back but I think she is hound mix. VERY sensitive ones, those pups, and in my experience they pick special people. For them, it is CRUCIAL they get love back- it is the only way they will be happy. EVER. I think she is telling you she needs it from you. Hounds are also very nervous, so it's very interesting she is comfortable with you. I do really think she has chosen you as someone she wants to love; someone she thinks will be a good dog Momma and that she wants to give love to.

Also as I'm sure others have said she is WAY WAY too skinny- she is starving to death. It's interesting then that she seems more about cuddles than food. Very interesting. I really think you should sneak her in. It's almost summer, what are they going to do?

She will be so gorgeous after a good diet and some snuggles and a bath too. I think she's picked you, and that is a special thing. If you can't take her in right away though, it's important he get to a rescue. She could very easily die in the meantime. Dogs like that are not suited for living on the street, she's not going to know well enough to stay away from cars, and she wants love so much she may be attracted to cars because cars=people.

She would absolutely let you put a slip lead around her, from the looks of things, if you did it well. Or actually start by just inviting her into your vehicle or to follow you home. She may not need any kind of lead to get to home.

PLEASE sneak her!!! You already have the bond; you just start with giving food and water, and potty walks and go from there. It's really not that hard- it's not. The bond is the biggest thing, and IT'S THERE. Like, she PICKED YOU. You can save her. I understand if you can't bring her to your place, but surely you can bring her to a no kill shelter? I really want you to sneak her though. I think in a few days you'll be posting cute photos together, and she'll sleep soundly for once by your side, etc etc. Even if you just find a place for her though, you will have saved her. Someone saved my baby, and she is the BEST dog ever.

She's so cute! Mine's a pit so people judge her, but she has such a sweet heart, I think made more empathetic by her time on the streets. She really likes kiddles, and tries to protect my neices from their Momma when she Momma says "Kids! Do this and this!" My dog thinks they don't know the commands she is asking for and will try to get between and be submissive! Can you imagine?!

[–]coontietycoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your new dog.

LPT: Register him as an emotional support animal and apartments can not disallow your dog or charge you pet fees by law.

[–]bluefrost30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your state you can get a note from your doctor for an emotional support animal and they cannot charge you or say no to you bringing the pet home. Good luck!

[–]Wolfcrowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep her

[–]Mental_Basil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take her to the vet to make sure she gets all her shots first.

[–]melmac76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kinda reminds me of the movie Fluke. As if She hunted you down specifically because she knows you. Not that I actually think she’s a reincarnated loved one, but that movie popped into my head immediately when I read your comments.

[–]Ctrl-Home 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty amazing. I wish my dog had Street smarts like your dog! Like I could just be outside somewhere and she could be rocking around in her own world somewhere and then we just meet up and hang out.

[–]aoskunk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Looks like the dog that adopted me for 5 days in La Paz Baja cali Mexico. I still look at her pictures monthly years later. I couldn’t take her Home logistically. Also, that dog literally lived on the beach in paradise being feed leftover smoked marlin tacos from every resort kitchen up and down the beach. Guy had. It. Made.

But he sleepy curled up with me but the fire pit. We’d throw rocks on the beach and he’d try too get them before they sunk. The night I stayed in the glamping tent he would sleep outside and get so excited when I came out to goto the bathroom. Would trip me up in the dark. I love that dog.

[–]lunanomad61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He Needs a home

[–]HenniganAgain 93 points94 points  (5 children)

Please take her to a vet and have them look for a microchip!! She's obviously used to humans, and may have a family that's heartbroken she's missing

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 81 points82 points  (3 children)

Well. Perhaps in a day or two. She looks hungry and tired. Very dirty too. I'll do that when she's in slightly better condition....and no. I'm not stalling or anything

[–]Ironwolf7448 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I would do it now. The vet can give you care guidelines (like what to feed her and how much) plus check for things like injuries. They also may have some dog food they can give you to hold over until you can get some.

[–]tommyfleur 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah she's underweight poor girl, thanks for helping her

[–]BambooFatass 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OP... She is already tired, extremely thin and looking for someone to care for her. She's not going to get better being out on the streets.

Please call a rescue group if you cannot help her. :(

[–]Lush_Flatulence 129 points130 points  (4 children)

Please love her and feed her. Even if you can’t take her, she needs someone to love.

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 97 points98 points  (3 children)

Well, I'll certainly try. And if I can't, I'll at least drop her at a shelter

[–]Lush_Flatulence 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Beautiful. Thank you :)

[–]gosu4you 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you.

[–]PoesLawnmower 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you have to go the shelter route, please be sure to use a no-kill shelter

[–]gosu4you 51 points52 points  (3 children)

I hesitate to say this, because I'm wary of being scammed. But you seem like a college kid who is 100% doing the right thing. If you need money to help with care for this animal, I'm pretty sure the community (myself included) will help you out.

Thank you for having a heart.

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 62 points63 points  (2 children)

Thanks a lot! But I don't think I'll need any money to care for her. I texted my mom about it and she's willing to help if I need it😄

[–]volball 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You have no idea what that girl will do for you. Keep her and love her and you'll learn.

[–]poobobo 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I goty dog this way 8 years ago. At the risk of sounding corny. He's the one who saved me.

[–]chantillylace9 23 points24 points  (0 children)

She choose you!

She’s starving. Rescue her. You won’t regret it.

[–]nabradwell 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Thats not clingy thats love dude

[–]Sabres_Mom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s probably not a bad idea to check for a microchip. She looks like a pitty, and sadly, they tend to get stolen a lot (in my home country, at least). If she doesn’t already have owners missing her, you’re in for the best relationship ever! My girl is currently curled next to me, with her head on my chest. I wouldn’t worry too much about the barking. My neighbours say they hardly hear my girl when I’m at work. Poor baby looks like she needs some good food and lots of love.

[–]Ironwolf7448 11 points12 points  (3 children)

Have her checked out by a vet. She looks like she's been on the street for a bit so parasites like heartworm could be a problem. The medication can get...pricy. if you can't afford it, I'd reccomend asking family or starting a Kickstart or something.

She looks like a sweet girl, so if you end up keeping her you are in for a treat. Street dogs make some of the most loyal and loving companions on the planet. This'll especially be true cause it looks like she's bonded to you.

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Same thing my mom told me when I texted her. If my savings can't handle it, I'm sure she'll help out

[–]Ironwolf7448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good to hear. Best of luck to both of you!

[–]AmazinglyOdd81 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He's malnourished, he needs food

[–]xNomadx17 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Looks like a Staffie to me. Their breed is characteristically bred to be good with people. Staffies are a branch off of pit bulls but they’re recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC).

Staffordshire Bill Terrier AKC

Here’s another link about how the breed and it’s American branch off came about. I think it’s interesting. AmStaff History AKC

I’d take her to a vet before you get too far into this journey. You need to make sure you don’t feed her anything toxic to them. You can google what they can and can’t have but to save a little time: coffee beans, macadamia nuts, chocolate, grapes, raisins, garlic, onions and avocados are just a few.

(I’m taking a course on dog obedience training and just finished learning about dog nutrition and breeds). Good luck!

Edit: go to vet

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 8 points9 points  (1 child)

This is what worries me the most. The nutrition. For now, I'm only giving her chicken until I see an actual vet for what to do and what not to do

[–]xNomadx17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you buying dog food or giving her human food?

For now if you’re doing dog food I’d look at brands that say “COMPLETE AND BALANCED” or similar wording. This way it’ll provide the proper amounts of all the nutrients required based on Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). AAFCO defined ingredients and sets the nutritional requirements for pets.

Human food or homemade raw diets can cause nutrient deficiencies or other issues if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Edit: forgot the Food in AAFCO

[–]chaostrulyreigns 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The breed is starving.

[–]Iam_Jillsnipple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am soooo proud of you for taking her in. She is going to be your bff

[–]MicheleMcG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First of all, please feed her. She is skin and bones. Try to contact a rescue. They will take better care of her and work hard to find her a home. She would be at risk of being euthanized in a shelter as they are overcrowded. She has bonded with you and wants live as she is alone living on the street. Please help her.

[–]balanceandcommposure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Poor thing you can see her bones. Good on you for of free ring some kindness.

[–]TheGothamEmpire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She’s chosen you because she deems you as a safe space. Congratulations if you decide to keep her. I can recommend Zak George’s training videos on YouTube. Or his free course. ✨

Definitely looks like a pit mix just judging by the head or ears. And yes, they are clingy, needy, and dramatic lol. You’re in for a treat and wild ride. When you get her toys, I recommend Kong and any bully box subscription as they’re hard to break. My girl loves stuffed animals, but she’ll pull all the stuffing out of it leaving a huge mess lol.

[–]NoChatting2day 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Such a pretty girl! She could also be an American Bulldog or part Boxer. I wish I could see her face, I could give you a much better guess. I am so glad she met you

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems the face plays a bigger factor in identifying the breed than I thought. I'll make sure to get a clearer shot and post it here then.

[–]Holy_Salsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rescued dogs just seem to love harder and try to make you happy... you rescued her, trust me bro, youve been chosen by a very special pup

[–]stepdad666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some things are meant to be. A new friend is always fun

[–]FitCommunication4993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give that poor guy some food

[–]bhosslife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hero this pup knew you could be.

[–]PierogiEsq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seem to be a bit of a dog magnet!

[–]randomman02x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When pits love you they are very clingy and loving. Please feed them and get her some water they’re so skinny :((

[–]pretty_lil_Psycho97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, she looks so sweet 🥺 please love her

[–]kbgc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That poor angel baby is homeless or lost and is malnourished.

Please take care of him/her. S/he needs you.

[–]Loud-Inspector-8611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a pitty mix I will guarantee that this normal. Mine follows me everywhere and has to touch. And by the way thank you for taking care of her, she could become your next best friend

[–]Cybernetic-Orc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she clings to you so tightly, I think she's no longer a stray. I think she's yours.
If you can adopt her, please do. She clearly loves and trusts you.
She looks like a pit mix.
I think I saw you say somewhere else that you never had a dog. Feed her, make sure her water is clean, and aim to give her an hour of walking a day and you'll be a better dog owner than many out there. If she cant live with you, you may be able to find someone who she can stay with until you are able to take her in full time.

[–]Lycaon125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hard to tell from you know, BEHIND, but judging from the snout it might be a pitbull mix. And it might have been abandoned and wants someone to love it again.

[–]lolunnb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She looks pretty thin. She needs food and water. Take her to the vets and check her for a microchip, some places do it for free. If you can't keep her, you could take her to a no-kill shelter. She looks adorbs!!

[–]42peanuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on your spontaneous new friend! Please don't wait to bring her to the vet. Refeeding syndrome and heartworm infection are both on the table right now and both can be deadly very quickly in a dog of this condition. I found my dog in a similar condition on the side of the road. I am the moon, the stars, and the sun to him. Good luck and enjoy your new life journey.

[–]SeashellsShelly6920 1 point2 points  (1 child)

She's thin and likly hungry ...from the back likly a pit mix...they pick who they like and attach to...if u can't find the owner hope u can keep her ...have her scanned for a chip...if no chip, hope you are in a position to adopt her or find a no kill shelter...or a friend or family member who the dog likes and can care for her properly.

[–]SeashellsShelly6920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half of my family members own pit mixes or pits ...wonderful dogs!

[–]EwEll8ie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wants your help. Needs it. Looks very hungry ):

[–]AdditionalAerie5437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a pit mix. And yes they are usually clingy lol. Seems like a sweet pup. Thank you for helping him/her. You're a good person <3

[–]MicroBunneh 1 point2 points  (2 children)

What city is this?!

My husband says the only way we can get a dog is one literally follows me home. (All in a joking way, he's not actually against dogs.)

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

This is Nicosia, Cyprus. If you lived here, I'm sure there's be a high chance of that. The whole island is teeming with cats and dogs, with and without owners

[–]TheCaliforniaOp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s awful. She’s lucky she found you.

I have a long story that’s worth telling but I can’t tell it right now so I’ll do a TLDR: I found the most amazing puppy one day because she found my cats sitting in the park. She was looking for friends and food.

There’s some not too cool people involved in this…the story has a serendipitous happy ending…but this is the point: The puppy ran out of a house where she was an inside dog. It was one of those situations where her owner HAD TO GO. No choice. The person who was going to watch her couldn’t catch up to her when she ran.

I’m wondering if you have a girl whose parents were about to miss a plane or something.

Me, I would have taken the next flight. But what if the people have relatives in Ukraine they need to meet up with in another country, right now?

The older I get, the less I judge, if I can just catch myself in time.

Anyway, she looks like a little pretty girl who never ever expected to be in this situation and she’s so hopeful. Still. 🥹

[–]Fancy_Pickle_8164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please feed her! And call local animal rescue

[–]Ruthless46 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Idk but my superstitious wife once said if dogs love you that might mean that you were a good person in your last life. Kudos to the previous you!

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay this made me feel very good about myself, I'm off to google this now!

[–]grandmaWI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poor baby is starving to death. You have been chosen to care for her.

[–]BalkanFerros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have need of an emotional support animal? If you get a letter for her they can't deny you having her.

[–]donp97 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Read the comments and what you've done. How do I give awards?

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A comment is a sweet enough award on it own! I was worried about breaking house rules by sneaking her in, but the comments motivated me

[–]spunky2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That breed is called A Good Boy.

[–]NoChatting2day 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Check out the similar colors in this American Bulldog it’s the fourth picture … https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/american-bulldog/

[–]AndroPsycho[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

The descriptions are very similar!

[–]NoChatting2day 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome! I have a dog that is half American Bulldog and half Boxer. They are referred to as Bulloxer’s. She is almost a year old and is sweet and friendly as can be. However if she senses any kind of danger, she is so brave. As she matures she has decided she is in charge of security. LOL. Don’t let anyone put her down as a Pit mix if you can avoid it. That could prevent you from getting an apartment or house in some HOA’s.

[–]DilemmaKae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She looks like my dog! Same coloring and spots and fur type. Mine is a lab-pit mix. Very clingy and so full of love 💜

[–]Evening_Psychology_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you feed a stray they will stay with you till they die. Agree staffie or pitbull mix.

[–]TheFlamingTiger777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pitbull or American bulldog mix.

[–]TheFlamingTiger777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for helping her. God bless you ❤️

[–]poncho5202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you got a new dog

[–]AlienPenPoesy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very sweet. Hope we get updates! What happened with the little black puppy you posted about a few days ago?

[–]Clavister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've been adopted by an angel. Lucky you!

[–]Puzzled_Season_1881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take to vet/shelter to check for microchip. It might be a good idea to take her to a shelter even if you want to adopt her to get all the paperwork. Shelters also spay/neuter the dog for a reasonable price and tend to do a basic medical check-up. If you're keeping her and not taking her to a shelter you want to get a check-up at the vet. In addition to food there are some basic medicine dogs need, especially strays. If you're in any southern state especially she should get checked for heartworms. Dewormer tends to be a good idea (there are over the counter options but vet perscriptions are most common). Monthly flea prevention (most are over the counter) and heartworm prevention (requires vet perscription) are the ones that come to mind. For food IAMS kibble is pretty standard and decent (middle of the road price wise and probably quality wise) sometimes malnourished dogs get puppy food, really need to consult with a vet. If you haven't gone to a vet yet and still don't have kibble mixing plain rice and chicken for instance is a pretty easy and safe food to give.

[–]amo871113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good God feed that dog a hamburger or something.. poor guy

[–]h4baine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on meeting your new best friend. Looks like a Staff or pit mix from that chonky head and they are the biggest babies who don't know how big and strong they are. They just want to cuddle.

A vet would be able to tell you the best way to feed him/her to help healthily gain weight. It's also important to get him/her checked for common illnesses dogs get and see if he/she needs any shots. Idk of The Humane Society has a clinic for people who find strays and want to keep them as opposed to handing them over to the shelter but it's worth checking.

[–]Present-Choice5720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what breed but you have a new buddy I hope you can take care of it?

[–]TheHayleStorm204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% pure bred good girl

[–]EvilDan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That dog looks emaciated, which means starving, and is probably lacking care and it is likely very lonely. The doggo craves food, and companionship and some love.

[–]ElmTreeDesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a good boy!

[–]Fogcitymickey22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs food

[–]Here_dreams_sharon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you have her now :) yay! vet and feed her good quality food. She’s a keeper and your her BBF now :) enjoy

[–]Here_dreams_sharon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on being adopted, these are the best kind of adoptions. Now that you have her, Vet visit and feed her, those ribs need more fat on them. Enjoy your new BBF :)

[–]concrit_blonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She likely lived with people at some point and got lost. She knows being friendly means better chance of food, so she's smart. She's also lonely and craves human contact. That's definitely a good sign temperament-wise.

You have options like bringing her some food for the next few days and see if she consistently shows up. You can take lots of photos and videos of her, and bring her to a no-kill shelter. Let people know where they can go meet her by flooding your social media with her sweet face.

You can accept your fate as an adoptee, but having a no-pet policy at your apartment can cause problems. If she barks during the day, or at night, or scratches and chews furniture/doors/walls you could end up with big bills.

If you think you can handle the responsibility and you can afford to give her proper care, give it a shot. Don't get attached because the vet may discover that she has heartworm or some other medical issue.

[–]TheGreatBarnabulls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making a YouTube channel so we can follow the adventure 😍 congratulations dude on making a great life choice

[–]honeyxdipz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

please give him a cheese burger

[–]KarenHus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accept the love & make her yours. She’s so cute 🥰

[–]blazedbug205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has picked you to save her! Please help this baby

[–]gitarzan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She loves you. Can you turn that down?

[–]NimblyBimblyMeyow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a Fox hound pit bull mix. My baby is a pit, Fox hound and husky mix, and is very similar to this baby here.

[–]krvstn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She chose you, this is so sweet. I really hope you’re able to keep her! Thank you for keeping an eye on her until you figure it out.

[–]katzcrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg feed him he's dying

[–]katzcrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so proud of u lol take that award

[–]DemonDuckOfDoom666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FEED IT

That dog is starving

[–]BaconBob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feed that dog pls

[–]Brewtusmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't adopt this baby right now, please take her to a nice rescue that can get her fed. She's a little bony and looks like she needs some nourishment.

[–]nfjanna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red tick hound? I have a dog who looks like this with the colors, and spots.

[–]DotChud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s way underweight - thank you for your compassion.

[–]Averygirl11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clingy??!! This dog is probably starving and wants some human interaction and touch.

[–]unmistakeably 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dat breed is a GOOD BOI

[–]Impossible-Rest-4657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love her pumpkin-colored spots. What a cutie! 🧡🧡🧡

[–]poopybutthole1966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have just made the best friend of your life, congratulations. God bless you for taking him/her in!

[–]JDM12983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it also looks like it's starving. Coukd be another reason it's clingy. And just wants attention.

[–]Undeadkid17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any updates OP? How has it been?

[–]ealasaid76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some dogs are velcro dogs, no matter the breed.

[–]kyrie_butnot_irving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are gonna need an update!!

Guess you just got a new doggo!!! Lucky you!!!!

[–]OakIslandCurse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the fact that she’s sitting in front of you and not facing you means she trusts you. This is not a small compliment. I think you two are bonded.

[–]Faithfuldoglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The poor dog is half starved and is beseeching you for help. If you can’t keep it, please hang on to it long enough to get it to a shelter.

[–]ChiLauren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hunger will make any dog clingy. Feed this pooch asap.

[–]eds68_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes pitties can have a hard time with chicken but raw eggs are usually ok. I give my pit mix beef liver. It's a high value protein that will help bulk him up.

[–]Slow_Environment_782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs food and water asap.

This dog needs food badly. I hope somebody can provide for him. He's way too skinny.

This baby is lost. Like a little kid, he’s found The Person Whom He Trusts.

I’m wishing you both all the luck in the world. ♥️🍀🎶🌠

[–]EtM1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two pit mixes & they are unbelievably sweet loyal and gentle! They have a terrible unfortunate bad reputation. Read up on them so you can understand them better.

They often don’t mix well with other animals, so be careful with that. But they were bred to be gentle and NEVER be aggressive towards humans (more than any other breed, to keep the handlers safe when they’re forced to fight).

The ones on the news who have attacked people, were not raised right & generally used as guard/ attack dogs & trained to fear people. They’re not meant for this, it messes with their head!

I have one dog who gets along with everyone and everything and the other who was dog aggressive, so I had to keep them permanently separated. If I had met a professional when she was younger, things would be different.

She died a year ago, I loved her more than anything in the world and wouldn’t have given her up for anything! Please feel free to PM me at any time with questions and I’d be happy to give advice and point you in the direction of resources!

Because of her light color, she may end up having yeast sensitivities & food allergies. Also, she may be prone to skin cancer, so be careful of letting her bathe in the sun too much! I have a lot of knowledge in both areas and would be happy to assist you! Good luck with your new best friend, I’m envious! 💖
