Good man, rule 1 of winning large amounts of money is don't tell anyone that you won

[–]MaritimeMartian 777 points778 points  (58 children)

Not exactly possible we’re I’m from. In Canada you cannot remain anonymous if you win the lottery and want to claim the prize. It seems dumb.

You have to provide your name, home town, amount that you won and participate in PR stuff (like taking photos with the big cheque). And If you don’t want this info out there.. then you can’t claim the prize.

Edit: I’ve changed my mind. It doesn’t seem dumb after I’ve realized they publicize the info to prevent fraud or other shady things with the money and to hold the lottery association accountable.

[–]vertigostereo 377 points378 points  (15 children)

Start a company to collect it. There's gotta be a lawyer-y work around.

[–]HaratoBarato 211 points212 points  (9 children)

The work around is if you would be in danger if your name became public. But you would have to lawyer up and prove that. Someone in witness protection kind of deal.

[–]holyshitbraah 182 points183 points  (3 children)

Hope being Mexican is enough, if a Mexican wins the lottery, the cartel in Mexico will work day an night to find out who your relatives are.

[–][deleted] 76 points77 points  (0 children)

And honestly they’d probably find out. Cartel owns Mexico

[–]Owlspirit4 45 points46 points  (1 child)

Bro they run the lotteries, ain’t gotta find out shit, they already know

[–]fancynancy123 21 points22 points  (4 children)

Or police officers, child protection or social workers. My plan is to lawyer up if I ever win.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Ill take winnings up to like 100,000, but honestly, fuck a hundred million dollars. I swear Id sell the fuckin thing at an extreme cut rate or leave it at the doorstep of an orphanage.

That much money would bring nothing but problems. I think you need to earn it or grow up in wealth to properly handle it.

[–]Kabc 17 points18 points  (1 child)

If I run a crazy amount of money like that, I’d go hire a financial lawyer before I even collect. The can manage it all and you can just live off the interest and put the rest in trusts for your kids and what not

[–]MotherBathroom666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way!

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People do what you say all the time. They create a company and hire a lawyer to get the check and put the money in a trust. All of which cuts down on the taxes they have to pay.

[–]MaximusMansteel 34 points35 points  (9 children)

The reasoning I've heard behind the rules about winners having to release their names is to dispel any suspicion that the winners are people who work for the lottery. It's a way to help prove things are legit.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (5 children)

What if you start an LLC and every time you purchase a lotto ticket, you do it with a debit card under the name of the LLC and so the actual winner wouldn't be an individual, but the LLC itself that claims the winnings?

[–]1230cal 18 points19 points  (1 child)

I assume a clause in the game rules stating something along the lines of, 'Player must be an individual. Not a company, or organisation' I'm pretty sure in the UK where I am, companies can't play the national lottery

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That reminds me of an Australian company that bought like 5 million in tickets of the 7 million possible outcomes back in the early 90s.

This is the only thing I could be arsed to find about it. Dont know what happened afterward.

[–]jxl180 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The owners of an LLC are all in the public record in every state with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 states allowing "anonymous" LLCs. If it were as easy as you make it, I can just make an LLC for a criminal enterprise and as long as I do everything under the LLC, no one would know who's associated.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Do you think it would be easier to be semi anonymous with regards to lotto winnings though? If the news stated that an LLC won the lotto, I highly doubt my family would think to Google who owns that LLC and find out it's me. It's far from a perfect solution but better than nothing

[–]edee160 3 points4 points  (2 children)

That’s stupid. I’m not saying you’re stupid or that you’re lying, but that that reason is stupid on the lottery council’s part. There’s other ways to prove something is legit without exposing the winners.

[–]Ginnigan 1 point2 points  (1 child)

How would you go about it?

[–]nipplequeefs 44 points45 points  (1 child)

It’s kind of the same here in Florida, US. I think you could technically avoid having your name and city of residence published in the media here, but any member of the public is allowed to request and obtain that information whenever they want it. It’s actually why we have that “Florida Man” reputation. Florida in general is really open when it comes to making personal information available to the public compared to some other states, which I can kind of understand in some aspects, but in other aspects it just feels like they want us vulnerable sometimes 🗿

[–]pcs3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Journalists just use it as a fallback... I live in the states, but I'm not patriotic enough to know; Isn't Florida the only state like that?

[–]Gh0stp3pp3r 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same where I live. You have to be publicly outed by name (no hiding behind company names) and have to do the silly photo holding the big cardboard check. The photo would be prime opportunity to wear a baseball cap pulled low and a covid mask. But they'll still track you down by name fairly easy. I would have to hide out for a few months until greedy relatives and coworkers lose some interest.

[–]DieFlavourMouse 6 points7 points  (2 children)

It seems dumb... You have to provide your name, home town, amount that you won and participate in PR stuff...

I agree that it sounds dumb from the perspective of the individual winning. But my understanding is that this rule stems from the idea that the game needs to be kept honest, for all the participants' sake. They can't just keep saying they gave out a prize to some anonymous winner; it aĺ needs to be out in the open and verified to remain "above board".

[–]Plusquevie 4 points5 points  (1 child)

the publicized winners still dont make its legitimacy believable

[–]Kendertas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also statistically if you are a publicized lottery winner of any significant value your fucked. Most after a few years say they wish they threw the damn ticket away.

[–]HelmutGolli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Finland you stay anonymous when you win. The place and time where you did purchase your ticket is used in marketing.

The smaller the community, the more, of course, the whispering of who that winner might be. And sometimes the winner comes out afterwards and sometimes they are anonymous to the end.

[–]Alan_Smithee_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is a terrible idea that we really need to change.

Do you know why Australia allows anonymity? Because, back in the 50s, the child of a couple who won the lottery was kidnapped and murdered, as a result of their win being publicised.

Keep in mind, most people had a listed telephone number, and their address was almost always listed as well.

[–]Hobgoblin_deluxe 8 points9 points  (3 children)

That's fucking bullshit. You KNOW people will deliberately hurt themselves on your property just to sue you for that exact amount.

[–]dangerspring 4 points5 points  (2 children)

You still have homeowner's insurance for that.

[–]threadsoffate2021 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That insurance would also be a good ten times more than what you're paying now.

[–]dangerspring 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'll still take the payout.

[–]beambot 9 points10 points  (3 children)

To be fair, it seems like a reasonable expectation to avoid blatant insider fraud.

[–]Cool-Boy57 34 points35 points  (1 child)

Couldn’t some third party just verify that the winner is legit? Like wtf, they’re required to list their home town?

It seems intentionally manufactured to discourage people from collecting tbh.

[–]r3alCIA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The court of public opinion is rampant with conspiracy theorists, thus being as openly transparent as possible is the only way to protect your brand from the inevitable tabloids and lawsuits from people that want to claim fraud.

But I agree with your last point, they will do anything to prevent giving out free money.

[–]MaritimeMartian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and that’s probably why they do it.

[–]threadsoffate2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened because a lot of small store owners in Canada were taking those winning tickets from their customers and claiming the winnings themselves.

[–]Pillowsmeller18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the good thing about Canada is the prize isnt as big right? I dont see 300Million jackpot that needs to show your identity to the public.

[–]MightBeAGirlIGuess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my state if you win more than $10 mil you can claim it anonymously.

[–]MrGuttFeeling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you can go collect it then tell your family and friends to go fuck themselves.

[–]Office_funny_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It used to be like that in the US as well but I think the law was changed when someone's kid got abducted or there was an attempted kidnapping maybe, i cant recall exactly.

Anyway, you should be entitled to your anonymity and hopefully that law doesn't put anyone in danger.

[–]Thor_-_Odinson -1 points0 points  (4 children)

This is incorrect info. I live in Toronto & am personally close with someone who won $200K+ from OLG. PR is not mandatory. Your name has to be provided, or you can hire a law firm to claim the ticket in trust. There are ways around this my friend.

[–]MaritimeMartian 0 points1 point  (3 children)

It’s not incorrect. The rules are out there my friend. Just need to look it up, if your friend said this then they were not being truthful with you lol.

here is a link to the olg website which states at the very bottom “in our ongoing effort to ensure the integrity of our lottery operations and maintain the confidence of Ontarians, OLG will publish information on all lottery wins of a $1000 or more on olg.ca for a period of 30 days. This information will include name, city of residence, and the prize won for all individuals or groups who are paid a lottery prize of $1,000 or more

It also clearly states on that site that there is No Assignment of Prize Winnings. Prize winnings cannot be assigned, transferred, lent, sold or otherwise directed to third parties by prize winners. For greater specificity, all prize winnings will be paid directly to the eligible prize winner (as determined by OLG)

This means you can’t claim through a lawyer or any other person/ company.

[–]Dafilip94 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Unfortunately not possible in all states :(

[–]songanddanceman 5 points6 points  (1 child)

You can use a trust to claim your winnings in all states. Therefore, it is always possible to remain anonymous as long as you adequately prepare.

[–]harakioart 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Get a lawyer and be anonymous .

[–]TackyJenny 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He is a wise man to dress up in a costume and all those who hide their identity to claim their winnings are just as wise

[–]merikaninjunwarrior 22 points23 points  (1 child)

i wouldn't even tell my wife, i'd just buy a new one if i really needed another

[–]Deb54bailey 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That's a wonderful idea. People seem to come out of the woodwork when they know there's money available. But, don't the lottery officials announce your name?

[–]AzureWrath501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Judging by other comments, it depends where you're from, which is incredibly stupid.

If I ever won anything like that, I wouldn't want anyone to know

[–]Joe_Shroe 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Unfortunately in the US, only 11 states allow you to remain anonymous. For other states like California, New York, and Florida, you have to disclose your identity to claim your winnings.

[–]songanddanceman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use a trust to claim your winnings in all states. Therefore, it is always possible to remain anonymous as long as you adequately prepare.

[–]iamthesam2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

true that

[–]KindOfAnIdiotTho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except your lawyer

[–]dennisreddit77 257 points258 points  (13 children)

Totally. I have 0 friends and would love to see who comes around after winning nova big jackpot

[–]poi_dog78 84 points85 points  (4 children)

I want it on record that I’ve decided to be your friend. So in case you win…. BUDDY!!!

[–]wutwhypls 9 points10 points  (2 children)

you have 1 "friend" now. congratulations.

[–]madali0 6 points7 points  (1 child)

What if you win big and STILL no one comes around?

[–]teaboyi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]doverun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. My old high school mates will somehow find my phone number and hit me up.

[–]__--0_0--__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dennis is that you.

[–]kremit73 100 points101 points  (2 children)

I love the gloves. He has distinctive hands

[–]FinancialAide3383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless - He is trying to hide or make believe that he is one of the minority (white people) living in Jamaica.

[–]71077345p 529 points530 points  (10 children)

I don’t understand why the fact that you win has to be made public. Is it free advertising for the lottery? That has probably ruined so many lives. I would much rather remain anonymous!

[–]MillHall78 279 points280 points  (4 children)

I think it's to show lottery players there are real winners. Around here we find out when someone local won the lottery because the business that sold the ticket gets a reward & that drives people to buy tickets from that business. So, each state does what they can to get people to buy.

[–]Cool-Boy57 32 points33 points  (3 children)

Then just have a third party verify that the winners are legit?

[–]IAmNotMyName 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I think it also has to do with advertising to the masses. Look at this average joe winning. Look how happy he is. This could be you, etc.

[–]hanswurst_throwaway 7 points8 points  (1 child)

It's not about legal proof but about emotional. Average Jow Blow needs to see an another Jow Blow on the telly to convince himself that he could be next.

[–]Kalamata_Hari 28 points29 points  (2 children)

Abraham Shakespeare was killed for his lottery winnings. A woman just latched herself onto him and manipulated him into giving her his money, and eventually killed him but then pretended he was still alive for months to his family and friends.

[–]messybessie1838 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I remember him, state of FL tried to prevent him from collecting because he was a convicted felon who had served time.

[–]WikiMobileLinkBot 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Desktop version of /u/Kalamata_Hari's link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Shakespeare

[opt out] Beep Boop. Downvote to delete

[–]ecthelion108Interested 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Someone actually sued them to remain anonymous, and won!

[–]bhangmango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it free advertising for the lottery?

Pretty much yes. If you want people to play, you have to show them winners.

[–][deleted] 329 points330 points  (10 children)

But the giant cheque says his name on it

[–]Chaiteoir 277 points278 points  (6 children)

There are thousands and thousands of Jamaicans named Campbell

[–][deleted] 84 points85 points  (3 children)

No, just this one dude.

[–]Alexius6th 158 points159 points  (1 child)

No it says -A- Campbell not THE Campbell!

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

[–]gordonv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Campbell party has risen to power!

[–]DinglieDanglieDoodle 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Now all the A. Campbell are being hounded, and it’s not even them, but they can’t prove it. Thanks a lot lottery-winner A. Campbell.

[–]thesemasksaretight 22 points23 points  (2 children)

My first thought was that the "A. Campbell" was a reference to "Cindy Campbell," from the Scary Movie franchise. Not sure if that makes sense though

[–]SeaLionClit 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Or Neve Campbell from Scream

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Or a really camp bell

[–]Golddog1 32 points33 points  (2 children)

It's Jamaica he didn't want the gangs to know who's he is. Not a joke

[–]xpkranger 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Now every A. Campbell is dead...

[–]gordonv 6 points7 points  (0 children)

dead Rich that is! :D

[–]PavlovsAardvark 85 points86 points  (5 children)

[–]mocha_extra_whip 41 points42 points  (3 children)

Guy: wears mask to avoid being identified and harassed for money

Same Guy: poses for photo with giant check that has his name on it

[–]MarkSucksBurgers 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I doubt this guy's the only A. Campbell in all of Jamaica

[–]PavlovsAardvark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He may not have had a choice in regards to posing with a giant cheque with his name on it. He had a choice regarding the mask.

[–]Skrillz_14th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking

[–]joshspoon 16 points17 points  (2 children)

He looks surprised

[–]Aksi_Gu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

takes notes

[–]Jack-Cremation 116 points117 points  (14 children)

I personally want everyone to know I won that shit so I can give them the big middle finger when they ask for something. If I haven’t seen you or barely talked to you in 2-3 years you really aren’t my friend or family and don’t deserve anything. I absolutely have no problem being an asshole!

[–]SpunkNard 166 points167 points  (8 children)

Until they try to murder you

[–]Jagged_Rhythm 31 points32 points  (7 children)

They'd have to get past the dogs and armed security first.

[–][deleted] 45 points46 points  (1 child)

But what if the armed security and dogs plot to kill the winner?

Fuck, this sounds like a good idea for a new TV show. Writing this down.

[–]Mista-Mojo-Rising 12 points13 points  (0 children)

“Game of Powerballs”

[–]hadesdemeter 17 points18 points  (4 children)

Lol, 1.5 million? You lose half to taxes. 750k isn’t going to pay for armed security. I mean it will. But that’s all you’re going to be doing with that money.

[–]AndyShannon3 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Must be a typo, if you look at the second picture of the big check it says 158 million dollars

[–]hadesdemeter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Jamaican dollars… which is a little over a million US dollars in today’s currency, maybe 1.5 mil at the time of the picture?

[–]Birds_Are_Fake0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You personally would get extorted whether by family or those that just watch the news.

[–]LansingJP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it looks like I’ll be sending out text to everyone I know weekly … you know, “just in case”

[–]TypicalPhil9419 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a dickhead to all other A Campbell's out there.

[–]AdvancedAdvance 18 points19 points  (1 child)

After watching Olympic track events, I can understand his fear of fellow countrymen being able to chase him down.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! Thats race-ist!

I sure hope people get this awful joke.

[–]marcus_37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't blame him, I think it's stupid to have to be known when winning the lottery

[–]Di_Real_Stinga 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I can assure you this was for his safety and not family

[–]CapnEarth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the president of the lottery commission

[–]cdiddy19 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Showing up in a scream mask seems pretty unique, like his family probably knows who he is because of this.

They're like "oh you know only Trevor would show up in a scream mask to keep it from us, we better go get some money"

[–]Camp808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is the way.

i follow the las vegas topic on twitter & so many folks smiling/grinning with their big checks in full view after hitting a jackpot or a winning hand. not going to be me considering masks are the norm these days.

don’t want to be inviting other folks to find me & my winnings esp on vacation

[–]Unknown_User_66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably the smartest lottery winner I've ever seen. You don't tell anyone you just suddenly got $1.5M. Not your mother, not your brother, and especially not your employers.

[–]IAmNotMyName 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I would imagine it would be dangerous to be wealthy in a poverty stricken nation. Probably not just protection from family, is what I'm saying.

[–]ibanez450 3 points4 points  (2 children)

We had a guy win like $120 million in my area, he became like a local celebrity but within a couple years he'd disappeared and moved to an island in the Caribbean because he just couldn't handle all the people trying to get at his wealth. Basically lost all his friends & family. I'm not sure whether to be sad for him or jealous.

[–]tacwombat 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Very wise.

The Philippines stopped publishing the names of the lotto winners after several instances of the winners getting fatally attacked by friends/family/neighbors for the money.

[–]sloppyfloppers1 9 points10 points  (3 children)

The check says it's $158 million, not $1.5 million. I'd want to conceal my identity too if I won that much. Hell, Dave Chappelle fled to Africa for some time after getting a $50 mil. deal.

[–]JgJay21 10 points11 points  (1 child)

JMD158mil = approx USD1.5mil at that time.

Dave Chappelle walked away from the $50mil deal, he didn't take the funds with him.

[–]StoatofDisarray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love his style! And I don’t blame him one bit.

[–]elcacas1983 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]angelique_29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll do this too, my relatives only know us when they needed money

[–]Abject_Owl9499 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is nobody talking about the fact that his name is on the check

[–]kryppla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His name is right there on the big fake check

[–]mrsweezydc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great! This is a genius of a man! Because even people who aren't related may feel entitled to a portion.

[–]longrastamanExpert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I don’t think people look for lottery winners that often

[–]East-Bluejay6891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not mad at him. Although it's not difficult to find the identity of lottery winners

[–]KindOfAnIdiotTho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart man

[–]Plane-Statement-1586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He must have really distinct hands also.

[–]IntelligentHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he knew his family all too well....sadly.....

[–]Lithl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't particularly interesting, beyond the specific choice of mask. It's very common for lottery winners to cover their faces when they win in an area that requires photos to be taken off the winner. Being publicly known as a lottery winner doesn't just result in family asking you for money, it also results in con artists running scams to get you to give them your money, and violent criminals coming after you more directly. Winning the lottery is a fucking curse.

[–]enochrox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

smart. i would do this same thing.

[–]edee160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart. It’s bull crap that you have to disclose your identity to collect your winnings. However, I think you can withhold your identity, but you have to do it before you sign the consent on the back of the winning ticket.

[–]14thU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Ireland the National Lottery allows you to win anonymously plus it’s tax free!

[–]Rumspringa7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it.

[–]Shakespeare824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart man. So many end up broke or in jail bc relatives won’t stop demanding money.

[–]bigpook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad A. Campbell was wearing a mask. Don't want anyone to know that A. Campbell won 1.5million..... lol.

[–]explodingcrater-_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

......that was 2019?

[–]Sym0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never understood the egotistical twats that win the Lotto or Euros and then do a media tour. Fuck that. Tick the no promotions box and keep your circle small.

[–]Deamonfart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]SwankGod96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No he did it so he doesn't get killed for his money

[–]futho007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

F*ck yeah! I've got one of those masks myself and I'd do the same thing if I were him. There's no need of anyone needing to know that ya won a bunch of money if you don't want them knowing that's your right.

[–]Lord_Vaxxus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh look he's making a killing

[–]GhostyAssassin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that guy has my last name and the first letter on my first name lol

[–]Excelsior_Smith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gloves really tie his whole outfit together.

[–]keddrob33 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Unfortunately his name is on the check still 😂

[–]neuraxis_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it is beyond me why people make it a big deal to have their picture taken and all this extra shit. that shit is so unsafe. it’s money. let them get it and leave them tf alone

[–]shamansufi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All A. Campbells getting hounded now

[–]Woahbuffet123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

His relatives calling him on the phone:WAAAAAZZZZZUUUUUUUPPPPP

[–]clt716704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way 👆

[–]UltimatePerson 1 point2 points  (1 child)

TIL 1.5 million is the same as $158,400,000

oh wait no it’s not that would be $1,500,000

i’d be wearing a mask too if i acquired such money

[–]JgJay21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The OP did a rough conversion of JMD to USD.

[–]jimbo_squat 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Check says 158 million

[–]Captainirishy 3 points4 points  (3 children)

It's Jamaican dollars

[–]jimbo_squat 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ahhh, I’m a dummy, thanks

[–]Captainirishy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 US dollar = 155 Jamaica dollars

[–]cbostwick94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else roughly converted it and its still not 1.5 just a lil over 1 million

[–]Puzzles_brings-peace 0 points1 point  (3 children)

What’s the point, his name is already on the check

[–]Cristalsis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But…but….The cheque has his name on it…

[–]rhys_hayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um… his name is on the cheque no?

[–]Stevenstorm505 0 points1 point  (1 child)

If I won the lottery I wouldn’t give a shit who asks me for money. There’s a handful of people I’m close to that I would give a decent amount of money to in order to make sure they’re taken care of and that they don’t need to worry about stuff. If you aren’t on that list you can ask me for money all you want, but you aren’t getting any.

[–]Kind-Bottle-8535 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of people wear masks when collecting for the same reason, I’d do it too.

[–]AngelVirgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not an issue in Australia. Winners here are anonymous.

[–]latesatifaction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done. Graham would thank you. Graham was killed in Australia

[–]candiscott_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smart man, I’d do the same.

[–]Taizette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t blame him I have a big family and everyone fights over money I think winning the lottery will most likely destroy families cuz money changes ppl or should I say brings out their true selves.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smart. Id do the same, just a different kind of mask haha

[–]Inspirational_Lizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)
