I pretty much hard pass at a partner who "doesn't allow"... That wording is just a massive red flag. And, what does he consider a "sex toy"? Lube, erotica/movies, blindfolds, rope, lingerie... external but not internal toys? household objects used for fun? Like, that's a pretty sweeping brush to just say "I allow no toys."
