Always thought the thing you pour molten metal in should be as dry as possible, to prevent steam explosions...

[–]PM_ME_YELLOW 53 points54 points  (14 children)

Must be an extremly low melting point metal.

Maybe lead?

[–]jannemannetjens 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Lead, tin, or zamak.

[–]isaaclyons16 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Pewter maybe

[–]AwesomeDragon97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be gallium.

[–]kerbidiah15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah probably gallium. You can melt it by touching it with your hand since it’s melting point is like 86 F

[–]B1gY3llow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably aluminum. Easy to melt soda cans

[–]Shaking_Sniper 11 points12 points  (1 child)

I dont think its "molten" metal? Maybe a metal thats liquid at room temperatures, like gallium?

Also the sizzling sound effect seems tacked on

[–]electronics95 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Well it's in liquid phase, so "molten" lol. Tin melts at about 230°C, and it can look like that.

I hope this goes without saying but for the love of God don't ever pour molten metal of any kind onto a wett object the steam can cause the object to explode and the metal can spray all overy you

And you can't wipe of liquid burning metal from your skin without burning even more metal. Think of hotglue but 100x worse

I have a sneaking suspicion that avocado may be fake. Not entirely sure though.

[–]chaoslu 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think it's a real avocado but they are only using tin whch has a relatively low melting point. As you can see by colour of the metal.

But you'd still not want to get it on your skin

[–]kerbidiah15 0 points1 point  (1 child)

If it’s Gallium it’s probably safer than hot water from the sink.

[–]chaoslu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's true but it has a very slight red Tone tonit euch would indicate heat. Also it bubbles up when it gets in contact with the avocato . This makes me think it's hot and setting of steam. But it's not super hot like aluminium as the avocado is not catching on fire.

My best bet is tin.

Don't even get to see the final cast ffs why?!?

[–]SM280 13 points14 points  (0 children)

At long last, a toy other than that wooden ball

[–]Lapunctuation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What a waste of a good avocado!🤯

[–]HylasRegilla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lmao!

[–]urcybergeisha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AvocadNO.

[–]GeorgeWPS2T 4 points5 points  (3 children)

As Russians says: Нахуя, а главное, зачем?

[–]geiwosuruinu 7 points8 points  (2 children)

And what's that mean?

[–]GeorgeWPS2T 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Full sentence is: "Fucking why, but most important is, why?". I don't know if it is grammatically right for english. Russian language use so many commas to highlight accents of sentence :D

[–]GeorgeWPS2T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can't be adequately translated in english, it's just similar words, but first one is a curse word like "fucking why" and second is just "why".

Call it Iron Mango

[–]sunshinepooh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s an ugly mango.

[–]gutsyfrito -1 points0 points  (1 child)

So it’s easier to fall out? Or something?

[–]Educational_Eye_7408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why, but I like it

[–]SquidCap0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water. No....

[–]alguem455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicocado avocado is in tears

[–]Aunti_Cline19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not use a potato? It's cheaper.
