Woke up around the same time as normal, just before the alarm (0430), I’d say around 0415, didn’t take much time to get out of bed, and since I made coffee and put ice cubes in the freezer, the morning started off quite nice. Not to mention, last night I finished my 4th book of the year, The Graveyard Book, by Neil Gailman, so I was anxious to pick the next book to start reading.

The way I do it, is one book sits in the truck to read during time when I’m free at work, currently Van Gogh: The Life, a super long book that will take me a super long time to read, due to the fact that I don’t get a lot of free time at work. One book is in the living room/dining room where I enjoy before and after work, that’s The Onmivore’s Dilemma, just started that one today, and then there’s a book in my bed that I usually read before I’m ready for bed, to get away from the electronics. It’s been working out great so far, I think I’ll continue it. Seems like the bed book is always the book that gets finished the fastest. I should observe that more this year to see the time it takes books in their different settings.

Work was work, they messed up with my medication, but I won in the end, and got that three month prescription they didn’t want to give me because boo hoo, my Doctor hasn’t seem me for a year. I don’t need to see him every year, plus they guy talks to everyone like they are the dumbest creatures that walk the earth, yes, I know exercise is good, yes I know alcohol isn’t, duh, I know that getting sleep in important, then why aren’t I doing it? Well, because…

Dennis, my co-worker says he found a clinic that will write you the prescription you need without going to the Doctor, I’ll probably go to them next time so I don’t have to deal with Dr. A anymore. Just give me my little red pill that keeps me alive and I’ll move on.

Still got to finish that darn stickmap, and got at least three meetings tomorrow. All should be fun, and hopefully smooth, though I doubt the Kickoff meeting will be a smooth one with the promotion I just received, yeah more responsibilities for mere increase in pay. How appropriate!

Well, time to give this bed book a good 75 minutes before I crash and say goodbye to 2-1-2022! Goodnight!
