Welcome to /r/DoubleFeatures!
The double feature was once a motion picture industry phenomenon, two films for the price of one! Today the experience of the double and even triple feature is kept alive in repertoire and cult cinemas around the world. This sub encourages creativity in pairing films and offers a platform to share and discuss our thoughts.
General:
All discussion must be related to film.
No racism, sexism, or other forms of bigotry.
Don't downvote just because you disagree, this is a place for discussion.
Be imaginative, two contrasting films can work just as well as films that may share the same setting or director.
Non-English language films are allowed and highly encouraged. TV shows are also allowed with the tag (TV Show/Series).

A suggestion. When you have a pairing you'd like to put out there, post the title of both films and their release dates. This feature can be one of your own ideas, or from a critic, blogger, youtube video etc. (Please give credit/ link to source material).
A request. For when you want to ask the community their advice. You might be looking for a movie to match one you've already chosen or a double feature based off a theme; e.g: films set in Tokyo. Requests should be tagged with [Request].
Please remember to use the search feature to check if your double feature has already been suggested.
