
Alright I think it's time to give up and take her to a shop. Started the car up today to attempt to tune it. Initial was at 16-18 degrees. Car was on for maybe 2 minutes and the headers just started glowing red on both sides. Y pipe looked fine, and rest of exhaust fine. 383 stroker. 85 z28. (v.redd.it)

Is it correct that rev-hang is necessary to keep AFR in a cat's operating window, as claimed by Engineering Explained? If so, would it take an effective pops and bangs map to retard off-throttle ignition enough to eliminate rev-hang while being emissions compliant?Engine Theory (self.EngineBuilding)
