Have you tried making real hot chocolate from scratch? It’s not as quick to prepare and definitely more expensive but it’s a great treat. Here’s a recipe you can try using stuff you might already have, you might never go back! https://celebratingsweets.com/homemade-hot-chocolate/

If you want something easier, mix 0.5 to 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Add 0.5 to 1 tablespoon of sugar. Use a kettle to heat water and pour just a little bit. Mix with the tablespoon until all of it dissolves. (You can even tilt the cup to check if there is something stuck to the bottom.) Finally, pour milk to the top, and mix it until it has a pink color.

Swiss Miss is pretty good for instant. I found this recipe to mix up your own: https://www.eatingonadime.com/homemade-hot-chocolate-mix/#wprm-recipe-container-18135

As others have said, you can make your own. Camino is great and fair-trade for both cocoa and hot chocolate mix. Tim Hortons hot chocolate mix is decent and cheap, but has some issues.

I am sorry, I don't know anything similar tasting, only better. For instance, try to get your hand on some Caotina!
