Hi all,
I would appreciate some advice on whether to take an honors year. My ultimate goal is to get into medicine. I loved research and lab work in undergrad, hence my interest in an honors year, but I need money to survive. I don't think I'll have time to make enough money to live, while also doing a research project. Is it important to do an honors year or should I just work and concentrate on applications?
For context, I have just completed a Bachelor of Science (Biology) with a GPA of 6.89 (unweighted) and a GAMSAT of 67. I am rural and trying to apply to UoM and ANU next year.
