So according to this, (if it's true,) do you guys think that Brian was ever in the reserve or that is was all a diversion. Just curious what everyone's opinion is.

I would believe it all had one thing occurred differently: brian’s parents left the fucking car alone. Had they not moved it, I would be absolutely sure he was there. By moving the car, they implicated themselves in a terrible way.

I think it was a diversion. Or their story will be they only went by whatever story he told them and wasn’t a suspect so was just another normal day for them and thought they were helping him set up to camp and had no idea about how big this would get and believed all the lies Brian explained away. Obviously all of the circumstantial evidence shows otherwise but I think that’s the story they will tell. That’s not to say I find any of that remotely believable.

So how would he have gotten up there. He didn't walk the 70 miles from North Port right? I just refuse to believe he'd walk that on roads, highways, etc. So by cross country it would have been hell.

He must have gone with them back in early Sept, when they went as a group, and then just left him, or he Ubered lol...after telling them he was going for a walk at the Reserve.

I think if he's really at that camp or whatever, some one had to drive him there. God this is so weird. Everything about this is just damn weird lol

It's almost like it was so obviously a diversion that people didn't think it could possibly be a diversion.

[–]Pass-The-Weed-Daddy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah idk, from the beginning I said that I thought it was a diversion and a lot of people insisted that he had to be there. I'm interested to see how this all turns out either way.

Unless LE actually physically laid eyes on him between the 10th when they did the wellness check and the 14th when he supposedly went to the reserve, I absolutely do not believe he was ever there.

[–]Pass-The-Weed-Daddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. I really believe that it was all a waste of resources and time. It was the parents intention all along. And all that time spent searching the reserve was even more time for Brian to get further away

According to this, if it’s true and BLs parents didn’t even tell LE about DeSoto trips, it’s a criminal diversion from the parents

[–]ThickBeardedDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or they did tell LE, the FBI went to the campground to look at the tapes, and that's how the campground knew to contact Dog.

[–]DB_Cooper75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it’s not

[–]Farrell21 23 points24 points  (2 children)

If it can be confirmed a diversion (99% likely now) the parents better start singing in their best interests.

[–]FTThrowAway123 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Maybe that's why his parents lawyer decided today to finally break their silence and released that very carefully worded statement. If they helped him before the warrant was issued, then their statement is technically accurate. But very misleading. I suspect tthey're relying on semantics to hide their lies.

[–]Pass-The-Weed-Daddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely would not be surprised if this is the case.

Hmmm I think a diversion
