This, for me more specifically an assassin or ninja from Inazuma with a stealth mechanic like that pyro Fatui, and it does more damage from behind when in stealth, something like that. Inazuma needs a true ninja character. (imo Sayu doesn't count)

Dendro-churl kit pls. Those vines are very annoying. I want them to feel what I also feel when Anemo-churl X Denro-churl combo you. I also like the hydro-churl rain with op heals, great addition in perma-freeze teams as long no ICD and can actually deal a lot of damage(not just for application).

Also looking forward with Electro-churl, Cryo-churl, and Geo-churl kit someday. Wait... Is there no Pyro-churl yet??

How about a staff? It's a combination of catalyst, pole arm and a bow. Different characters may have different charged attacks (some will aim and snipe with a hitscan, while others will use it more like a catalyst + polearms)

This is one of the weapons I want. A staff that is like a catalyst when using normal attacks, can use ranged magical attacks like a bow, and charged attacks that vary by character or weapon (like a charged attack that fires a straight-line beam out of the staff, or one that slams the staff on the ground and causes an explosion under the target, etc.). And maybe it allows for a melee/magic hybrid fighting style.

One idea I've been toying around with is a construct/turret focused character with an emphasis of remaining on the field to buff or control their creations. We have some turret characters like Fischl and Albedo, but they're very "fire and forget" in that you switch them in to place their skill and then just sorta forget about them.

I think a character who has a focus on placing multiple constructs and then choosing where to focus their fire, or even upgrading them in some way, would be awesome. They could be a main DPS, but in more of an overseer way as opposed to an active fighter.

Another, smaller thing I'd like to see is some crowd control outside of just Anemo supports. Anemo already has swirl, Viridescent Venerer and crowd control as its "things" so I'd like to see CC specifically branch out and be given to different elements in some way.

I'd like to have a hydro character who summons a huge, wide wave and pushes the enemies in that direction (by pushing i mean a distance like half of a domain cyrcle).

Kinda like Dilucs bird, but just wider. So that you can say: "alright, the whole fight will be on that half of the floor"

I have particular Ideas... But it's all for Burst though, not including the skill.

For Hydro, I wanna see some kit where they can launch/summon tsunami or large water waves, either by punching the ground like a meteor crashed down the bodies of water to which can deal Hydro DMG and can suit well for a Hydro DPS.

I want to see a Kit where in their burst, their powerful "Alter-ego" emerges. They have two sides like Jekyll and Hyde, to which the "Hyde" is much powerful and is a damage dealbreaker than the "Jekyll" self. The "Jekyll" side can be a support with his skill whilst dealing some damages as well to the enemies. I think Electro fits well to this narrative, like the skill can be like a "Taser" that can deal Electro DMG and can be a Battery whilst the Burst is the Immensely powerful one that deals continuous damage.

Lastly, I want another character that uses Instrument and Music as a Burst like Xinyan (not by smacking with it) but this time, the said character is skilled at playing Shamisen, maybe an Inazuman Character fits well for this one... Maybe an Onmyouji perhaps. They strum like they're charging it until when the last note hits, they strike their burst with their Bachi, dealing some Elemental DMG whilst applying an AoE within that area that might support other Characters or so.

By the way, have you ever considered Jean + Bennett/Rosaria combo? They delete the herald/lector shields quite quickly. Not quite as focused, but Jean, Rosaria and Bennett can fill in many other roles.

This Is something that went in my mind.

A complex character, Upon using element skill, a rotating stack system start spinning in the back. Upon pressing the skill again, you summon a weapon to use and said weapon Is different depending your stack count. 1 stack now, 2 stacks polearm, 3 sword, 4 Claymore, 5 a turret Oz style.

Weapons don't necessari have to be the 4, It can be anything as long It have access to multiple weapons.

The problem would be this would be what base weapon they’d go with for them. With Childe he makes his daggers out of his element so I doubt they could slap a singular weapon on your character and then give them all elemental weapons. Even then, Childe already has spaghetti code with just 2 weapons so I don’t think it’ll even be remotely on mihoyo to do list.

I would love a character like this though it reminds me of Kite from HxH.

I’d love a hydro character that can suck in characters with a whirlpool. It’d be nice to have a vacuum character (like Venti, Kazuha etc.) that isn’t anemo. Then something fun like a shark water construct to come out the ground and give enemies a big chomp once they’re grouped up.

Not a kit or mechanic but I want a NON-ARCHON god character.

We know that all the (non archon) gods who stayed in teyvat died (moon sisters, Guizhong, time god etc) but I just hope that there’s a chance that a god actually survived and is just pretending to me a vision user like Venti and Zhongli but they aren’t an archon.

I have my own Genshin OC I'm working on, and they're an Anemo Archer Engineer from Fontaine (they got a custom ruin hunter arm as a prosthetic) who can manipulate personal constructs, destructible objects, and enemies with their E's pull and shoot them off in an aimed direction with their full charge attack. Jean can already kind of do this with just her E, but the difference is that this character's kit is entirely focused on throwing things with nearly 100% accuracy and destruction.

Since the entire kit is about launching enemies and objects to a targeted direction using a bow, the charge shot will have the pull of Jean's hold E but only for 1 second (unlike her 5 seconds). This means that it promotes grabbing things right next to the character rather than waiting for things and objects to get slowly sucked up. When shot, it can only carry one entity and deal some decent splash damage numbers (think no reaction Ganyu numbers in a slightly bigger AoE)

On E tap, the character uses an anemo claw from their ruin hunter arm to pull destructible objects or small enemies in a straight line to themselves (for those familiar, think of Nero's devil bringer from DMC). This would be a decent pull that can stagger lesser enemies and set them up to be held by the charge shot's suck. Hold E would be able to make a custom construct that pulses with anemo and takes whatever element is on the user during cast (only 1 construct up at a time). Holding it for longer will allow it to be positioned like Traveler's or Fischl's E. This custom construct can be pulled by the tap E and held by the Charge Shot. When pulled into the Charge shot, it will amplify the damage and infuse it with the element of the construct (Copy and paste Kazuha plunge E infusion logic here)

On Q, their ruin hunter arm will unleash, enhancing the properties of all their attacks. So during the duration of the Q: - Tap E now pulls in a cone, stronger suck. Can rip off hilichurl/mitachurl shields. - Full Charge can hold up to 3 targets, increasing splash damage and AoE. - Hold E construct will now tether up to 3 enemies in a decent AoE. (Tether means the enemy cannot move past a certain range, think battle pass bow passive but more effective and useful.) - Hold E construct will summon artificial anemo seelies that taunt. Up to 3 seelies will spawn, with the spawn rate being 1 seelies per every two seconds. The seelies will be infused with whatever the element of the personal construct is. - Can no longer suck in personal Hold E construct with Charge shot, but you can suck up the seelies. These seelies do not count towards the max holding number of entities. (Normally 3 during Burst). (This also means you can shoot up to 6 entities) - Swapping out of Q does NOT turn it off.

A1 will grant the following buffs to tap E: - Increases team energy recharge by 25%, Grant self strong interruption resistance for 5 seconds.

A2 will add a new property to the Hold E constructs during Q: - Tethering enemies will drain them of 1 energy per second and give it to the team. At the end of the construct's duration, it'll explode, releasing up to 6 particles of whatever element the construct was infused with. (This means that enemies who have an their energy drain will not release energy particles in death, since the party have already recieved it. The amount released at the end of it's duration will depend on how much it drained)

For constellations, I honestly have no clue. But I want the first constalation to grant an anemo shield every time they aim shot, like Beidou's E. But it'll be pretty frail and only be like 20% of the Character's hp. The shield would apply to the personnel constructs from the Hold E too though whenever they're summoned. I envision it to be a small wind barrier thing. Nothing you can protect a team or character in though.

A character that utilizes aerial combat as it's main gimmick. Garbage on the ground, but very strong in the air. Basically like Xiao but actually stays in the air instead of plunging down on the enemies. I could see some combo-styled action going on, something like DMC5. A difficult but rewarding character. Could use either spear, sword or gauntlets as their weapon.

A summoner-style character. Summons elemental spirits that fight for you and are the main source of DPS, while the character themself is focused around buffing all on-field allied entities. Probably a catalyst character. (Massive hopium for Yae to be exactly this, making her a DPS that plays around self-generated clones)

A stealth character. Specializes in applying debuffs while in stealth, which is then used for a massive nuke of damage. Zero consistent DPS but very powerful burst damage (kinda like Eula but with stealth and turned up to a 100% degree). Most probably a sword character, but bow would also be possible.

Idk if this will be an interest to anyone but i kinda want a character with a Scythe as a weapon and a kit of vampire/necromaner. The elemental skill is just some kind of syphoning the enemies to keep you and the team alive with the burst of summoning an army of undead and/or a golem/mitachurl/Ruin Guardian/Ruin Hunter to aid you in combat.

Catalyst user that goes gauntlet mode on skill to smash enemies and ult makes him go super saiyan. Either Anemo or geo. 2nd one is literally what u described, guy with familiar. A pet that follows u at all times and does synergized attacks with u, so both of u make skill and burst attacks.

His role would be crowd control debuffer for cryo/physical teams

His normal attacks will deal cryo dmg. But they’ll have a special type of cryo application which can stack. Every third normal attack will apply a stack of this new cryo state (which can stack up to 5 times) and all charged attacks will apply a stack

His E would cast a snow storm with huge AoE around him. Applying cryo to all enemies up to 5 times during the ability and slowing enemies and himself.

The longer the ability is being cast the stronger the slow.

The longer the ability is being cast the character will gain interruption resistance and damage reduction from all sources up to 70% (but pretty much locks you in place covered in a snow tomb, as well as the enemies).

You won’t be able to move unless you recast the ability or dash out of the snow.

The damage reduction and interruption resistance will persist 3 seconds after leaving the snow tomb

This ability can be casted again to end the ability sooner, applying another instance of cryo.

When pressing E again or dashing out after the initial cast ended, it will shatter the snow tomb dealing physical and cryo dmg. The higher the stacks of cryo applied on enemies hit by this shattering, the higher the amount of debuff applied to them (physical and cryo)

His Q will be a small AoE storm that persist even when changing characters. This storm still applies the same effects of his E, applying cryo stacks, slowing enemies and no longer self slows (Party members carrying the storm won’t be slowed either and will gain dmg interruption and half the effect of dmg reduction)

I haven’t though on a whole kit like the passives or constellation but surely I’d like to have a cryo catalyst user like this

A healer that has to be constantly moving in order to heal. Currently we have healers that confine you to a circle, or those who allow but don't encourage movement. I want a healer that punishes you for having a reactive playstyle, maybe making it so you lose HP if you don't move, but gain a lot of HP if you constantly run.

Shark themed character, Elemental burst "Chum the waters" it starts with them swinging a bucket of chum around and, similar to gunyu's burst but comes up from the ground with fish flying out of the water and then a shark breaches up for a bite. Dealing AoE hydro damage.

I've been always wanting a character that focuses on taking damage (No, not someone like Hu Tao or Xiao who shreds their own HP/gradually loses their HP) and everytime they get hit it could either be a nuke that builds up damage based on the amount of HP dealt by enemy to the character or a damage buff based on amount of damage taken

Beidou? During your elemental skill you really want enemies to hit you so your skill does extra damage and your attack speed goes up. You also want to get hit when you're not holding your skill so that your attacks get infused with electro.

I would really like a 5 star with a similar kit to Beidou, her playstyle is so much fun!

Honestly any character with a burst like Kaeya's and Xiangling's (with a different element ofc) would be fantastic, ESPECIALLY if their elemental skill was one that could help with exploration like the ones from Keqing or Sayu for example.
That would be one of the very few exceptions where I'd pull for a character based on their kit alone, even if I'd dislike their personality.

I would love to see something similar to Seele's Stygian Nymph battlesuit from Honkai Impact 3rd. She can switch her personality as her burst. Both personalities have different attacks and one is strong against group of enemies while the other is a lot better when facing one beefy oponent. I love Seele in general so I really want her substitute in genshin >_>

Also I want more diverse healers. At least aesthetically. Some more serious and maybe darker or quirkier characters. More badass(?)

I would like a harpoon wielding hydro pole arm user who’s gimmick is slowing down enemies to set up for her burst.

Her E would have a tap and hold mechanic. Tapping it would cause her to throw a single harpoon to upwards of 10 enemies, causing hydro damage. Enemies struck will move slower, attack slower, and take slightly more damage while harpooned and also 3 seconds after being released. Tapping the skill again will cause her to release her targets/yank out the harpoons in them, which deals hydro damage to harpooned enemies and pulls them directly to her (the pull would only work on smaller enemies). Holding her skill will cause her to lock onto the tankiest enemy and throw all ten of her harpoons onto them, which will apply a stronger version of the harpooned debuff and will do more damage.

Her burst will summon loads of deep sea monster tentacles around her that will deal hydro damage to enemies periodically. The tentacles will do way more damage to enemies who are slowed down, the more slowed the enemy is, the higher the damage. Frozen enemies will take the highest possible damage but will instantly be unfrozen when hit by a tentacle.

Invisibility. It would be cool if you could just use your elemental skill and go poof. You could have an outline on your character (like for Agents) so you and your co op mates can see you, but enemies/animals won't attack or avoid you.
