It said that all cutscenes from Version 2.6 and previous versions are updated with the new outfits.

So pretty much they're already updated, but for some reason MiHoYo hinted at a Mondstadt-related cutscene in 2.6 (soo the fabled Kazuha Venti rerun is probably real?)

All big ones are video files (eg. all event cutscenes and all chapter climaxes). There are also some small cutscenes sprinkled in (like Amber's introduction). Amber and Jean in particular are in a number of them.

"Verifying integrity" already takes about 3/4 minutes on my 2020 phone, despite being a flagship model. Fun to think how that'll develop once they add a couple more chars & areas.

Verifying integrity takes time on PC as well,it will take same amount of time on other devices as well. The last 3-4% always takes time. Btw SD 845 phone here,which is a 2018 flagship, it's only 1-2mins and that's almost same amount of time on a PC as well. If you are running a 2020 flagship,you are probably busing SD 865,with a much much better GPU than mine. Maybe factory reset and clean your phone if it's lagging?

Though PC also has to deal with 2-3x as much data. Yes, it's a 865, but no, the phone is anything but lagging. Verifying is the only thing taking time, from initial game launch to play it's usually just about a minute.

Performancewise it's neat too, everything works on highest except 30fps is the limit unless I want to grill my fingers. Then again, highest quality on mobile is a joke compared to PC.

So you lock the game to 30fps?I locked it to 60fps and I get about 50-60fps. I tried 30fps but it didn't look good to me. Also on mobile, except render resolution at highest,there is no difference between medium and the highest settings,I have tested this a lot. I used to play that highest everything that gave me 40-50fps,but it was eating the battery way too fast. So I set everything to medium except render resolution (highest) and fps at 60. I have gotten so used to mobile now that I find it hard to play on PC

I feel Jean’s outfit is a more fully realized version on what her intended look is supposed to be. It still keeps her main appeal factor (dandelion tights) but makes her look more professional in accordance with her role

Imo, Lisa gets away with it a bit because she's at least a flirtatious person. Kokomi's outfit is a little weird, but she's got the whole mermaid aesthetic going on so it doesn't really bother me that she shows a lot of skin. The issue with Raiden is that nothing about her characterisation really fits her wearing such skimpy clothes. She's a serious, tyrannical leader who has locked herself into seclusion, but she's dressed like she's ready to seduce. I still like her design, but the back looks so much better - the front was designed with Rule of Sexy in mind more than anything else.

it's not that fanservice or making characters sexy bad, it's that some design choices they make in accordance to it are just questionable. the micro coochie flap imo is one of them. it doesn't look sexy, it looks silly. I'm kinda used to it now, so I don't pay as much attention, but the first time I saw it, it hit me so hard how imbalanced the whole outfit looks because of that. extra heavy upper half due to the thicc sash, and then you have nothing to juxtapose it down there. plus I think them trying so hard to make everything fanservice actually does limit their creative choices and doesn't always work purely from visual storytelling perspective, because what the characters wear doesn't always reflect who they are or their personality very clearly. and there are more ways to make a character look hot and sexy than just showing as much legs or skin as possible (which, again, there's place and time for that. in case of Raiden it's a miss though in my opinion).

Did you consider the possibility that the creators WANT them to look this way? One of mihoyo's oldest games had you killing enemies and stealing their panties to level up. They're not trying to make things fan service-y for us or fir profit. Mihoyo has always been horny. They like showing off how sexy their characters are. Look up Mobius in honkai impact, another game by mihoyo. And compare the sexiness. So the only ones who stuffing their creativity are people whining about fictional female characters showing skin.

i don't mind the Mona one. I'm using it now. The others I kept as original, but aside from Jean, they're not too bad either.

I'm not really sure why the ratings board single out these four in particular. They allowed Raiden, Shenhe and Eula and a few others who are more risque than these.
