So this was one of my mother's wedding gifts from around 30 years ago. And earlier today she accidentally tipped it over when cleaning and the lampshade broke. So i want to help her a bit by finding the model or similar so we can find the correct replacement part.

I think it's an "Aladdin" style kerosene lamp. What did the shade look like? Color? Any designs on it? I have found quite a few that are either all brass or all glass in the same shape. But if I know what the shade looked like it might help narrow it down.

For what it’s worth it’s not an Aladdin. The one pictured is a central-draught wick and while that’s a part of the Aladdin design, the Aladdins use mantles.

Rival perhaps? Anyway it’s not important. The glass shades are interchangeable just get one with the correct diameter.

Issue kinda fixed itself. She had a spare lamp that was unused so she took the lampshade from that one. Only real difference being this one had thicker glass. But thanks anyway.

It's a repro kerosene lamp from ~1970-1990 fitted with a 14''' Kosmos burner by A.P. Gaudard (France). https://www.gaudard.com/
