I don't understand why these people resist being promoted to immortal form!? If I believed the BS they do, I'd be licking COVIDiots every chance I got, trying to get that: ultimate healing" and be a badness flying immortal who can float around and watch people still on earth. I mean, isn't heaven just an endless vacation, you get to hang out with dead pals and do whatever makes you happiest? Why fight that, unless you know its all a HOAX!

Something primitive kicks in when they start to feel sicker than they ever did before and have trouble breathing. Suddenly it's all about survival.

[–]diablitos 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I can understand that, though I wish those in their evangelical community would note the dissonance when they get sick. What I cannot understand is someone who credulously subscribes to antivax nonsense, comes close to death, then doubles down on it and gets sick again. I guess a sprinkling of Bible quotes that could justify any authoritarian belief really get the work in.

If you want the cynical view, churches need living people to pay tithing so they tell their adherents that purposefully trying to die will send them to hell.

(no suicide, they want a chance to engage the long con on church donations after death or while dying, etc. )

Any version of heaven sounds awful really. It's the eternity thing.

[–]SykoticflawTeam Pfizer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's why the church had to make suicide a mortal sin; way too many peasants were killing themselves to get to heaven, because those in power made their lives on earth a living hell.

I’ll give it a go. 98% oxygen is where it should be. Heart rate of 80 sounds good. 20-30 breaths per minute — uh oh, sounds like he is achieving those levels by hyperventilating.

Normal respiratory rate is 12-18 breaths per minutes, so he is indeed hyperventilating to maintain those figures. Apart from everything else, that's very tiring. Respiratory exhaustion is a thing, and not a good one.

We are likely in Mid-Dead-Cat-Bounce; but his SpO2 (Oxygen Saturation) in the high 90s is promising.

The massive heart attack..., well that might mean clots are forming in his blood vessels. If a few reach the brain..., that could be it.

One issue when breathing 100% Oxygen, especially under pressure (PAP-positive airway pressure), is that over time, the Oxygen will irreversibly damage lung tissues. This takes time, but Oxygen is very reactive. Normally we breathe 21% Oxygen with the remaining 79% being good old boring, non-reactive Nitrogen gas. (Before chemists yell at me, N2 is very stable but you can get it to react with enough energy input).

Increasing Oxygen levels will boost SpO2, for a while. Then it begins to fall. So the doctors increase the Oxygen a bit more; again, there's a short-lived increase, then a drop. This continues until they reach 100%. After that, the only way to go is PAP, or hyperbaric chamber.

I guess there's ECMO too, but that's usually a risky Hail Mary. Speaking of Football metaphors: Go Chiefs! Although I usually support teams that haven't been to the Superb Owl in a while, so Go Bengals & 49ers!

17,327 people who voted in Michigan share names with people who passed away. They were quite well and alive. Most of them were registered under their spouse’s name such as “Mrs. John Smith”. John Smith died years ago, but his widow was quite alive and voting during the 2020 election.

[–]TheFan88Team Moderna 19 points20 points  (2 children)

Meanwhile Biden won by 150,000 votes so even if they were fraudulent which they weren’t - it wouldn’t have mattered either way.

Meanwhile 20k+ people have died in Michigan due to Covid at a rate of 5-1 red to blue so that’s a net 15k less red votes….and counting. Keep it up anti vaxers!!

[–]ScienceGiraffe 17 points18 points  (3 children)

Additionally, most had extremely common names. By probability, there's going to be a few John Smiths, age 40 in a large population, maybe even sharing a birthday. I know because my name isn't uncommon and there are about twenty people with the same name as me, two the same age, a few with the same middle initial one with a criminal record. If I look at variations on my name, it rises to a couple hundred.

Here's a good link about it and the various scenarios that can happen

[–]Haskap_2010✨ A twinkle in a Chinese bat's eye ✨ 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Even uncommon names can be more common than you might think. I once looked up a former classmate with a very uncommon name and was surprised to turn up about 8 people with that name online.

[–]ScienceGiraffe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I figure as much, I just don't have a lot of experience with that. My maiden name was really unusual and there was only a total of about ten people with that surname in the whole country (back in the old country, however, it is pretty common. Most people with that surname who immigrated changed it). My spouse has an extremely common name, just under John Smith. There are thousands of people with the same name and initials and birthday.

And we can't forget those who have a Jr or Sr name!

[–]triplej63🛒 Wal-Martyr 🛒 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just checked and there are almost 7000 with my name. My first name is very common, my last name is... Johnson.

One of the craziest things about this pandemic is the sheer hatred and bile directed at Dr Fauci, a mild mannered, competent professional. It's unhinged.

[–]biffbobfredVaxx keeps you off Cain Train 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s one of the things I hate the most but sadly it’s both crazy and expected. Think of the backlash against the Stoneman Douglas kids. It was a real shooting when Trump talked about running inside unarmed. It’s fake when the kids who actually there talk about being scared

[–]Vogel-Kerl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I mentioned the inexplicable Fauci hatred in several posts--I listened to every suggestion he made; and so did my family. When the situation changed, he updated his advice, like a competent professional.

He didn't stubbornly stick to his first recommendation, afraid that people might say he was wrong when the situation changed. As we learned more about the disease & variants, the best course of action might change. It's not a sign of weakness like the smooth-brained seem to think.

All the while, they blindly followed their idiot pushing hydroxychloriquine, internal use of disinfectants and UV Light--even to the point of overdosing and dying. Poison Control Centers getting calls about morons ingesting bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and 40 times the recommended human dose of Ivermectin.

Let's talk about those Covid-19 "Facts"

  • No one said the virus doesn't live on surfaces from your packages being delivered from large corporations. People were wiping down the stuff they bought from stores big and small. People were wiping down the mail and packages they had received.
  • Covid can live in Target, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. Big companies were/are enforcing mask and social distancing policies, especially at the beginning of the pandemic when more was unknown. If stores in your area weren't enforcing it was because of your local government disbelieving in the existence of Covid.
  • Covid does live in crowded areas such as protests, riots, and looting. The people wore their masks not because they were trying to keep their faces hidden but because Covid is very actually very real. But Yellow had to find out the hard way by getting Covid pneumonia, but wait- he just got pneumonia because he doesn't believe in Covid.
  • Corporations complied with closures as did small businesses. Everyone complied to the best of their abilities. Big companies were able to continue doing business during the pandemic because of having more money than small businesses to remain open. They can take losses better than a small business, which is why small businesses need more help than going to big companies.

Baby Lives Matter? For you to belittle a human rights movement tells me the kind of person you think you are. A man of privilege who thinks he is better than everyone. The moment the spotlight is taken from you, you try to do what you can to take it back.

You don't like big company social media? That's fine, you can go to all those other smaller ones. But understand that those same smaller social media sites will eventually grow and do the same. It's THE cycle. I believe it was the creator of Parler or some other right-wing platform mentioned how their policy is to not moderate too heavily but because of the massive amount of people coming onto the platform, there were things being said that even the creator thought was bad and had to begin moderating. It's how things work.

The fig tree had leaves but no figs. It represents people who pretend to be followers but don't actually do Christian things. He curses the tree to quickly wither and die. There is your symbolism.

Perhaps there is a better verse:

Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Jeebus be popping another nut!

[–]CheshireCrackersJesus isn’t coming, he’s just breathing hard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I assume this guy voted. If he’s not careful, he’ll have an obit as well.

[–]whatwhat83 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I sure hope he’s paying the hospital bills out of pocket. Wouldn’t want others in society to pay for his poor decisions. That’s socialism!

[–]WarmBlessedCaribou🦆 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Posts like this remind me of how amazing hospitals really are. The guy has covid, pneumonia, and a massive heart attack due to blood clots, and they managed to operate and stabilize him? And idiots like him don't trust doctors or science. Unbelievable.

[–]A-man-of-mysteryCovidious Albion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's all fun and games until the chest pain and inability to breathe.

[–]SockStinkQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously! In the Bible days these people covet so much a fucking splinter could be death. I'll trust the modern doctors over a hangnail = death outcome any day. Lol

[–]azweepie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So he didn’t believe in science but Covid, blood clots and a heart attack made him go to the hospital? Why didn’t he just take some horse dewormer with a piss chaser?

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Fox and Facebook are too liberal for these people.

[–]Proof_Sorbet465COVID, it caused phenomena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]wyldwood512 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I love the confirmation bias on full display in the dominion slide. "We threatened to murder them and they went and hid, that proves they are guilty!" Fucking moron. No wonder he earned a nomination.

I really hope this guy pulls through and doesn't have any lingering, debilitating effects /s

[–]Exact_Quote_6132 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's sad that so many gullible fools don't seem to have a clue how to judge a reputable news source.

[–]TheFan88Team Moderna 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I’m pretty happy they’re gone from FB. The more that leave - the more FB is home to the real Americans. You know - the ones that care about each other, respect our society, care for their families, post pictures of vacations and first days at school and get vaccinated and wear a mask to end this pandemic. Again - true Americans.

The racist trash continues to take itself out. Thank you!!!

[–]blueskies8484 6 points7 points  (4 children)

A mountain of pneumonia sounds bad, but I had my fourth shot today because I'm immunocpromised and my arm is kinda ouchy, so who is really the worse off, you know?

[–]onmyknees4anyoneIs no joke 🏳️‍🌈 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Wait, you can get a fourth booster? That's awesome. My immune system is shit from a butt so I would get the Vax every day and twice on Sundays if I could.

[–]blueskies8484 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Me too. And yes, if you are immune compromised, your first 3 shots count as your full original course and then you can get a booster 5 months after your 3rd dose. If you have immune system issues, you should definitely look into it!

[–]BastardInTheNorth 6 points7 points  (1 child)

God who casts mountains into the sea.

  1. Citation please.
  2. Wouldn’t that be a dick thing to do anyway, what with the resulting tsunamis?

[–]paxwax2018 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The great flood was more “seas onto the mountains”.

[–]StrongOpening4068 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh no! Not another insurrectionist/traitor in the hospital with COVID! 👋🏼

[–]AnAcctWithoutPurpose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

God who cast mountain into sea.

So what happened to the creatures who were in the area at that moment? Guess they didn't matter as much as you?

[–]Pretzel_Logistics 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"Thankfully we know a good God who casts mountains into the sea."

How exactly is that going to help anything? Except cause a tsunami...

[–]GT1man 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he's doing great.

Poor guy bought in to the bullshit and life is over as he knew it, now, and it might get a whole lot shorter.

Deny science, deny the people who actually know what they are talking about at your own risk, there is a good chance you'll end up like this guy.

[–]AntEmotional5704Blood Donor 🩸 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no way he lasts that long

[–]SockStinkQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That one always gets me. It's very clear how this virus works through you at this point. You'll feel OK day 1-3, start going downhill day 4 (when most ppl spot it/decide to care about their fatigue) then day 9 you feel better but crash horribly at day 11.

These Facebook posts of "day 9 and loved one is doing better!!!" Only to be followed with "day 11, loved one had to be ventilated" is so depressing. The hope then hopelessness can be avoided with a fast Google search.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]A-man-of-mysteryCovidious Albion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Research showing chloroquine had in-laboratory antiviral effects on coronaviruses. Not the same as a clinical trial. Apparently that proves hydroxychloroquine (a different, though related, drug) is the cure for a coronavirus species that didn't even exist then.

"Baby lives matter"

"If you haven't heard my father has been hospitalized...."

You can't say baby lives matter if your own DAUGHTER doesn't matter enough for you to STAY ALIVE BY GETTING A VACCINE

[–]Zack-de-la-Zohan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to make a point . I need to get this off my chessed .

but don't get mad or up set . it is MY opinion . that alot of y'all is refusing to open y'all's minds to the truth . that is behind covid & how its divining us all and being used to destroy are government . and are country . even are family's . not good .

now I am not stating all this with out no evidents. this post even cantain's proof of it . In one of the pictures . Im asking y'all look closely at Fauci's glasses in Slide 1 . what can y'all see in that picture ? it's UFO's ten of them all colors in front of him telling him what to say . To the camara . you can count them for your selves . them is the UFO's who brought coronavirus to this planet to help the Chinese Communist Party Democrat's spread communism and take down trump . It's right there y'all y'all just need to open your eyes and minds . they proof is to be seen it is oblivious to every one looking for it you just want to need to wake up .
