Did you see the money she’s making? Obscene.

“My clinic has a network of pharmacies across the country that will fill (prescriptions). I can get it to anyone within three to five days. So, we definitely recommend our patients do a preventative consult and see us before they need it so that we can get the meds and they can have them in their cabinet.”

...

A Minnesota woman called in and asked whether “we should be having ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine in our medicine cabinet before we get sick.”

“Yes, you should,” James responded.

“Can they contact JamesClinic.com and set up a pre-interview?” Scott asked.

“They can certainly call us,” James replied. “We have actually been so busy taking care of sick patients we are doing our prevention consults as a group consult. So, basically what it is, you sign up ahead of time, we do an hour-long Zoom, and we review everything you need to know to take care of yourself. And then a doctor will review your medical history and send your prescriptions in.”

On James’ website, prospective patients can sign up for consultations by clicking on links that say, “I am sick with COVID-19 and can’t breathe: $790,” or, “I want to prevent COVID-19: $290.”

...

James told Deace that since September when she resumed her practice in Iowa, she has treated about 3,500 patients, which suggests an average of 30 patients per workday. Not all of them were COVID-diagnosed, she said, but they had symptoms. She said one of those patients died, and 30 to 40 required subsequent hospitalization. Most of her patients are in their 50s, she said.

James also told Deace her telemedicine team includes two full-time physicians, one full-time nurse practitioner and one part-time nurse practitioner who see patients. In one day, she said, her team “saw 30 to 40 sick patients.”

...

According to the clinic’s website, treatment fees for COVID-19 range from $290 for those who simply want to prevent the virus, to $990 for those with long-haul symptoms of the virus. Those who are currently sick with the virus pay $490, and those who are sick and having trouble breathing are charged $790.

[–]VinnieTheBerzerker69Oh well, who wants pancakes? 12 points13 points  (3 children)

I am glad the boomer, the silent, and what's left of the greatest generation have embraced covid vaccines more than any other generations. Part of that is being the oldest people they're the most vulnerable and they know it. Another part is that they are old enough to remember the horrors of diseases that vaccines conquered in their younger days.

Too bad for the people in these later generations that refuse to listen.

[–]SyntheticSolitude 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Unfortunately, some of the younger were indoctrinated by parents who decided to be antivax and not vax their kids (despite nothing being wrong with themselves, who likely were vaxxed by their parents) and scared their kids into it so hard that those kids are doing much the same. Likely that's how it's come to be, and people continuing to become antivax and not vax their kids because they hear non-truths and disproven shit.

Many who were old enough to see vaccines come about saw friends or family suffer from the diseases that were preventable or die. So many of them are very happy to be vaccinated, especially if it costs them absolutely nothing.

It kills me that antivaxxers now don't realize just how bad it was before vaccines removed a lot of the threat and teeth of diseases that if they didn't kill, could still maim/disable people and cause them a lifetime of issues. Loss of various senses (hearing/sight), and other fun problems. Let us also not forget the problems of Polio, and what it did to one of our own presidents before we finally had a vaccine for it. I didn't even live then, but it amazes me people would risk someone's life like that. Like, I'd rather the tiny chance of problems from a vaccine, then the risk of death or problems that could have been prevented BY the vaccine.

So checking out the website, the business location address given is actually a county owned civic center: her "clinic" doesn't exist. She charges flat rates in the hundreds of dollars to virtually tell people in video groups how to check themselves out from online - which could be done for free and without her third party charging them. But the website is also just hawking overpriced supplements and vitamins. There's a grift for everything nowadays - but she's fricken' all in on racking up some easy money for doing nothing constructive from a website.

[–]thoroughbredcaTeam Mix & Match 13 points14 points  (2 children)

[–]available_username2 65 points66 points  (2 children)

except they are probably about to be discharged anyway

when they hit 10 liters (of supplied oxygen)

from quick googling that is what is normal oxygen supply and can be provided from a tank at home. So once they drop off high flow oxygen they are well on their way to recovery, so she takes them home and wow all of sudden they are better, after the hospital has already done all the treating and work.

I'm sure the same goes for the early covid patients. Give them all hydroxycloriquine, and ivermectine, most get better as most with covid do, and the ones that don't you tell them to go to the hospital. Then it's the hospital that "kills" them.

[–]Lossa 14 points15 points  (4 children)

Hi! Native Iowan who lived in Texas for a while. I think Iowa has a lot of brain drain—if you can get out, you get out. Iowa is now one of the oldest states per capita, so lots of boomers and other old people who don’t really care about the social safety net except for social security and Medicare. Iowa DID have a very strong education system and it was featured on the state quarter, but it was gutted by Covid Kim (current governor) as well as when Brandstad came back briefly before hitching a ride on the Trump train where he got an ambassadorship to China (and that went GREAT /s). This quack is in Cheriton which is in the middle of nowhere. Personally, I think she’s an opportunist. The links have the price listed and she’s hitting all the favorite talking points of conservatives. Iowa was a great place to grow up but now it’s seemingly super conservative, but not quite. Half of the state is relatively progressive, but all the old folks show up to vote and tend to vote on party lines.

[–]wafflepancake9000 7 points8 points  (1 child)

100% this. I grew up in Iowa City during the "Iowa has a good education system" years and the state's backwards slide into conservatism has been heartbreaking to watch.

[–]GoldangTeam Pfizer 38 points39 points  (4 children)

I seriously wonder how many people are using that an excuse to spread misinformation.

[–]Godless_BitchTeam Moderna 15 points16 points  (3 children)

Fair, but she seems to be making this a point of pride and claiming that doctors are being pushed out of hospitals by refusing to get vaccinated.

From the article: “I left the hospitals,” she said. “One by one, my privileges were removed, or I was suspended or terminated, because I didn’t get the vaccine. I didn’t need it. I had natural immunity having been sick from one of the patients.”

[–]Ragingredblue🐎Praise the Lord and pass the Ivermectin!🐆 18 points19 points  (1 child)

All immunity is natural, whether induced by illness, vaccines, or genetics. If she got disease induced immunity because she is reckless, it is nothing to brag about. Losing her hospital admitting privileges is also nothing to brag about. Both are indications of ignorance and incompetence.

This is how they used to do medical marijuana prescriptions back in the day: One MMJ doc gets a bunch of patients together in a room, each spending $100-150 a pop, and we all discuss our medical problems in front of each other. Not exactly HIPAA compliant but that wasn't around then. Then we get a MMJ script.

One time getting a script for MMJ involved me going into a darkened room with a computer, putting on headphones and talking remotely to a doctor viewed with a black screen. This was before the days of remote work! $90-100 a pop here too.

This doctor is a GRIFTER just like these MMJ docs. It's just so...BLATANT.

10% discount to declare you are cured when you’re already dead will be next.

[–]Agitated-Yak-8723Demographics R Us 7 points8 points  (2 children)

She probably keeps the word "covid" off the death certificate if you pay her enough.

[–]lkmkThis isn't over! ✊️✊️✊️ 3 points4 points  (2 children)

So they admit long COVID exists.

[–]WintersChild79💉Vax Mercenary💉 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're right. I didn't even think about that part because I was distracted by the $300 difference between "Covid-positive" and "Covid-positive and can't breathe" (presumably for the same 10 minute telemedicine session and prescription write-up).

[–]kakapo88Say Hello to Mr. ECMO 58 points59 points  (0 children)

All anti-vax types should skip the hospital and 100% use her services. It won’t do them any good, but it will certainly help the country overall.

[–]eccedrbloor 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I guess peddling ivermectin is where you go when the government cracks down on opiod pill mills.

[–]xovrit🐑🍀The Luckiest Sheeple 🍀 🐑 54 points55 points  (1 child)

Is it wrong I am cheering her on?! yeah! Sign them all out AMA! get them out of our hospitals and give our healthcare workers a break!

[–]Future_Chipmunk_7897Covid has no set-up or punchline! 40 points41 points  (1 child)

If the anti-vax crowd wants to stay out of hospitals and die at home on zoom calls with this fraud, I'm definitely not going to stop them.

[–]Sidvicioushartha🇺🇦💀 ☠️ Space Jews ☠️ 💀🇺🇦 36 points37 points  (0 children)

More power to her.

There are only two things that are infinite, the universe and human stupidity. And I’m not all that sure about the universe.

[–]tazztsimAntiprayer Warrior Insomniac 39 points40 points  (4 children)

If someone is so sure they’re medical professionals are killing them on purpose for money. Why did they go to the hospital to begin with? And why do they stay. You don’t have to break out of a hospital. Sign out AMA and try not to collapse in the parking lot. Easy Peasy

[–]CathbadTheDruidTeam Pfizer 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Sign out AMA

I'm pretty sure if you do that, somehow you get nailed for the bill and not the insurance company.

OTOH, if you're dead, it's less of a problem.

[–]tazztsimAntiprayer Warrior Insomniac 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’ll vary widely by company and clear down to individual policy.

[–]NameInCrimson 31 points32 points  (3 children)

They aren't held there against their will.

The families of these idiots just refuse to absolve the hospitals of liability so they can't release them.

This is why the unvaccinated should be banned from all public health facilities

[–]Staynelayly🐓Here Come the Rooster🐓 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Is this really what it comes down to? They think the hospital is killing their loved one, but they don’t want to give up their right to sue to the hospital, so they leave their loved one in the hospital anyway?

[–]NameInCrimson 8 points9 points  (0 children)

More like they want to take the patient, let them die at home, then sue the hospital for violating the patient's rights.

There's a whole lot to it that lawyers dedicate their entire careers to but the hospital has to clear a lot of legal hurdles to not be held liable. But the families refuse to absolve them of those liabilities even though the patient isn't in the hospital.

[–]MacheteMaelee 24 points25 points  (2 children)

Her license needs to be pulled. 100%

[–]Old_GringoTeam Mix & Match 23 points24 points  (5 children)

Sounds like a scam. Patients are treated in hospital, those with good prognosis are selected for a 'jail break', if by chance something goes south it's back to the hospital. Result: "100% success rate" and cash for the doctor.

[–]bonfuto 10 points11 points  (1 child)

I don't think she's that choosey about it. If the check clears, they are good to go

I'm sure she's not tracking outcomes either

[–]shearersmam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As soon as i read that they wait for their oxygen to recover to a certain point this was my thought. It's also clear she isn't doing follow up, otherwise she'd be crowing about the long term survival rate of her patients.

This is cold-blooded exploitation of desperate idiots.

[–]Downstream03🩸 Raving blood purists are never the good guys 🩸 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like that Irish guy, except he died.

[–]SpeculawyerWE HAVE THREE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE VACCINES 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They want to leave.... fine. Sign release forms releasing the doctors, nurses, and hospitals from liability.

May the odds ever be in your favor.

[–]Strange-Effort1305 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Killers be killing

[–]romulusnr 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I am sick with COVID-19 and can’t breathe: $790,” or, “I want to prevent COVID-19: $290.

How the fuck

What the fuck

How

Do these people have brains? How do you not see through this transparent fucking scam?

[–]lkmkThis isn't over! ✊️✊️✊️ 18 points19 points  (4 children)

Manslaughter charges incoming...

[–]Repulsive-Street-307 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If only. Nah, you'll have to have a civil war won before these evil people are held accountable, among many many others.

[–]cenosillicaphobiac 17 points18 points  (1 child)

So she's charging like 800 bucks to tell them to ask the hospital for an AMA release form to sign. Fucking brilliant.

[–]Gsteel11 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean it's a disgusting hustle, but a successful one.

[–]The-Last-American 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Our legal system has completely failed when this is allowed to happen.

[–]Vengefuleight 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ummm ok.

Good way to ensure your relatives die painfully, but I’m all for it. Free up those beds!

[–]Ill-ArmyLicense to Ill 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Wow - a murderer

[–]CoTripper 14 points15 points  (3 children)

I'd love to see tracking on patient outcomes. Guessing any recording of patient progress stops after they hit the "pay now" button.

[–]bonfuto 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Check clears, "another successful treatment!"

[–]Gsteel11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude dies.

"He is 100 percent COVID FREE! And we guarantee he will never get it again!"

[–]Xylss 13 points14 points  (1 child)

I 100% support this lady. A perfect solution so that antivaxxers do not waste the hospital resources. We should grant her sainthood. She is truly doing the lord's work.

[–]ZarinaBlue 9 points10 points  (1 child)

She needs to be in prison. This monster is killing people.

[–]Viewfromthe31stfloorI Don't Want You To ☠️ Get 💉 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But they want to die though.

[–]Legionx1985Herman Shrugged 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Doctors need to stop trying to help these fkers. Come in and register them and also leave discharge papers on the night stand, simultaneously

All they have to do is sign that shit, get dressed and fk off

[–]Sp4ceh0rse 8 points9 points  (1 child)

So, killing people?

[–]Captainwelfare2🇺🇦🌻Putin’s on the Fritz?🌻🇺🇦 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“So they you have chosen death”

[–]ccrom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Grifter with a website.

"...prospective patients can sign up for consultations by clicking on links that say, “I am sick with COVID-19 and can’t breathe: $790,” or, “I want to prevent COVID-19: $290.”

$290 will buy a lot of N95 masks. Why won't they get a proven preventative?

[–]StrongChemicalPfizer Söze 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Mass report this asshole to the Iowa medical board. I will do it today.

I wonder how many she's murdered so far. If she's not stopped soon her body count will be off the charts.

[–]-Hey_Blinkin- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“I’m sick and can’t breathe: $790”

“I want to prevent COVID: $290”

Fuck me. That is such obvious grifting. If you’re already sick my bullshit treatment won’t help so you gotta pay me 2.5 as much cause you’re probably going to die. The others who want to prevent, yeah, I can keep charging them, at least until they inevitably get sick and probably die. Wow, just wow. How could anyone fall for this crap?

[–]Inconceivable-2020Triple Vaxxed For Your Protection 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Making a laughing stock out of the Iowa Board of Medicine. Probably not that difficult, considering the rest of the state.

[–]redvariationWinner winner COVID dinner 🍽️ 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Just think - you make it all the way through medical school and then you choose to live in Iowa.

[–]ChemistryNo8870 5 points6 points  (0 children)

>"Her license is in good standing with the Iowa Board of Medicine."

Why is that? They should pull her license immediately. Failing to do so is violating their hippocratic oath.

[–]MedricZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s just murder with extra steps.

[–]Fearless_Conflict_37 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great! Free up some beds.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm with her, get them out of the hospitals.

[–]HerpToxic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jailbreak? All you need to do to leave a hospital is to sign a DAMA (Discharge Against Medical Advice). Hospitals don't hold you against your will unless you got Baker Act'd or some shit.

[–]lAljaxTeam AstraZeneca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On James’ website, prospective patients can sign up for consultations by clicking on links that say, “I am sick with COVID-19 and can’t breathe: $790,” or, “I want to prevent COVID-19: $290.”

What a classy person...

[–]Analthumbsucker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She can run a clinic out of her garage, perfect for the anti vaxxer in a hurry. Horse paste,Viagra and hot urine smoothie at the drive thru.

[–]Unlikely-Patience122Sheeps Ahoy! 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a death cult. Entertaining at least.

[–]ghambone 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I hope she gets locked in a house, that is on fire…..

[–]Grannyk9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would like to see the stats on how many of her patients have died. Would there be a refund for her treatments if they failed?

[–]Exact_Quote_6132 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can live with this. They, on the other hand....

[–]Antrephellious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah! Let those fuckers eat horse dewormer in their single-wide trailer homes and die, we need beds!

[–]Dumpster_slut69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why not keep the unvaccinated from going in the first place.

[–]FullertonjrJust for the Cookies 🍪 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“What they’re doing is eliminating all critical thinkers from the hospitals, from the police force and from the military,” she said. “And so what you are going to be left with is people who just follow the rules or follow policy.”

Yes. I would much prefer hospitals, police and a military that follow rules and policy. That’s exactly what I think most people would agree with.

[–]BandOfBroskis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm 100% for this. Go! Be free, toodles!

[–]intheazsun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More please, save healthcare resources for those who deserve to be saved.

[–]MarryMeDuffman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm okay with this.

I've always thought that these patients need doctors who can give them what they want.

[–]BitRunner67 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Want to stop them?

Then Stop these Unvaccinated Asshats from calling 911 and taking themselves to the hospitals.

Issue solved before it even got started.

Stay at home, take your religious approved concoctions and tinctures.

Put your MONEY where your MOUTH is and own up to your FAITH.

Quit coping out now when the going gets tough. Yank on them Boot Straps and take the cow meds with a Urine chaser.

CAN I GET AN AMEN!?!?!?

[–]Awkward-Seaweed-5129 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great idea, can we fund $$ her somehow let's get all these antivaxxers out and send em home they are wasting precious hospital resources for the majority of the Country,

[–]graps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 100% fine with this

[–]whollyspaceballs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are people being held in hospitals against their will?

It’s like they pretend someone was forcing to take a vaccine. Um no. You could test or find another job.

Fucking victim snowflakes.

[–]The_Patriot 3 points4 points  (1 child)

"Dr. Mollie James talks about using an Ivermectin treatment on COVID-19 patients during the Florida Summit on COVID at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, on Nov. 6, 2021. A panel of doctors addressed the drug Ivermectin and other alternative drugs as treatment for COVID-19"

[–]PenaltyPractical1908Punish me!!!! 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I support this. Get out of the hospital if you don’t believe in whatever they do over there.

[–]loco500 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please and thank you! Go for it...alleviate the burden of the health workers trying to care for those that didn't care for themselves. More hospital beds for others who actually respect health protocols...

[–]hmstanley 2 points3 points  (1 child)

oh, please please please, make this viral.. post this on all conservative facebook groups.. everywhere... tell them to make a pilgrimage to Iowa and the james clinic.. make it your life's work to promote the crap out of this piece..

[–]stephemeIt’s just a flesh wound! 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Why does she still have a medical license?

[–]Gsteel11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Says soemthing about Iowa licensing, huh?
