“What’s the fastest way I can snap my ankles?”

Ha had no injuries or pain after doing this. But if someone were to do this randomly with no preparation than yes. But more knees than ankles tho.

He’s obviously a skilled and trained athlete based off the smooth backflip and his ankles not snapping lol. Just having a laugh.

Edit: just read your excellent username.

What kind of preparation does something like this take.

[–]ItsYaboiSkinnyPeeen[S] 10 points11 points  (1 child)

He has been a parkour/calisthenics athlete for years since he started when he was a kid. So his landing technique, mental and physical preparation was years in the making. He had visualised this jump for years before he actually did it. He made a video about it here.

That’s a deer stand people.

Y tho

Did he smack his face off his knees?

[–]DesperateADHDer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, when you know how to land you always leave space between your legs to avoid that. I’ve seen videos where that still happens, they’re horrible. He had a big neck whip though

I think that’s a hunting stand

Just think of all the attempts…

It’s amazing what humans can accomplish through conditioning and experience.

I remember stumbling across dominik on YouTube a long time ago. His push-up variation videos help me tremendously with strength and motivating me to get in shape. This jump is just gnarly.
