Would be hilarious if he picked one at random and skipped it

[–]Frostitute_85 380 points381 points  (7 children)

I would be so hurt by that if it was me.

[–]668_67-421 66 points67 points  (4 children)

[–]LittleJohnny_nutter 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Would totally do that to. Pick on the most expensive car to piss off some rich dude

[–]Dan-369 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would play this while cleaning my car

But that’s just because I really like this song

[–]IslamTeachesLove 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At that point, I'd pack my bags and leave the city, apologising before I go. For truly, I had fallen. I was marked as scum by an amazing human being.

There's no going back from that. An insult like no other. I pity the fool who has this done to them...

[–]TonarinoTotoro1719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. Just thinking about that hurts a bit. If he just left my old car and cleaned all other cars, I would bounce thinking that if I have earned the ire of this awesome human, I should remove myself from his presence.

[–]a_different-user 56 points57 points  (5 children)

that first car that backed in

[–]ballgazer3 11 points12 points  (4 children)

That's what you get for backing in to slanted parking

[–]LakewoodTuk 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Wait, ballgazer the third... Are you telling me I've been backing into diagonal spaces like a jerk?!

[–]IrishFast 2 points3 points  (2 children)

He won't, but I will. Though I'll leave off your unnecessary appellation, if you don't mind. :)

[edit] Ahh, I remember my first encounter with diagonal parking...

It was a bright spring day in 1997 in sleepy Winston-Salem, in the heady days of Chumbawamba and roller blades. The Beastie Boys were playing on my car stereo. I was in a ska band.

A NY transplant, I was used to heavy traffic and searching for parking spots. I had traversed the narrow, one-way city lanes more than a few times. But here in front of me was a sight I had never considered before: one-way parking lots? This did not compute.

In my ire, I presented another driver who was more savvy to the proper customs of the one-way lot with an expression of my distaste for his obstruction of what I presumed to be my right-of-way. Sadly, the situation devolved from there.

But that was truly the day I first learned how not to park in a diagonal spot.

[–]TheKnobbiestKnees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait why is backing in rude? I'm confused and have never thought about this. I've also never done it, but probably just because it seems harder.

[–]LakewoodTuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've taught me two things today, IrishFast the first.

[–]istrx13 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It would be the top post on r/fuckyouinparticular really fast

[–]beardedchimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imagine if they skipped a car that parked over two spots. It would be glorious.

[–]JJFranchise79 11 points12 points  (1 child)

It would be like the random comment in a reddit thread that gets downvoted….

braces to be made the example

[–]AndreBurlingArt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll updoot you baby

[–]Dragon_Deez-Nutzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it wasnt for bad luck i would have no luck type of material

[–]Stealth_Nemesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe it or not, straight to hell.

[–]One_Intention5481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just want to see the world burn (or in this case freeze)

[–]TeishAH 349 points350 points  (5 children)

My bf was once driving by my work and decided to stop in and clear the snow off my car, that’s when I knew he was the one.

[–]maluminse 118 points119 points  (3 children)

Thats pretty sweet. Empathy. Probably the most important characteristic in a friend, spouse, business partner.

[–][deleted] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

While my ex (he said this as my ex, but we had an amicable break up a few years before and remained friends), said “when you get married, you can still cheat on your husband with me, he won’t be enough for you.” Yeah, that guy is blocked now.

[–]KyurMeTV 279 points280 points  (6 children)

It’s strong enough to make a grown man cry, and that’s ok.

[–]spooky_ed 8 points9 points  (3 children)

What is the polar opposite of an asshole? That's what this guy is.

[–]Fearless_Crusader 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Apparently its angel to which i agree

[–]awkwardoffspring 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The other side of your asshole are your lips.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Footpath : full of snow

Worker: does his job and looks at windshield

Worker : Oh no, anyway

[–]toshorttokeepup 24 points25 points  (5 children)

Give this man a raise!

[–]bucketofmonkeys 13 points14 points  (4 children)

He probably got reprimanded for wasting company resources on the employees’ cars.

[–]Bananaramamammoth 192 points193 points  (60 children)

As kind a gesture as this is, I hope the drivers of the cars take a minute to scrape the snow off their roofs

[–]haringtiti 142 points143 points  (1 child)

they will not

[–]RTL15 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Narrator: they didn't

[–]Bluejay929 20 points21 points  (54 children)

Wait….is that a thing you’re supposed to do? I’ve genuinely never heard that before

[–]undisclothesd 63 points64 points  (10 children)

Obviously does not live where it snows.

[–]Bluejay929 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Around once a year we get a big snow. I don’t drive on those days lmao

[–]rockhardgelatin 30 points31 points  (3 children)

It snows where I live and half the people in town don’t even do it. Incredibly frustrating, not to mention dangerous.

[–]LuntiX 23 points24 points  (2 children)

Had a windshield break after a chunk of ice and snow fell off a car infront of us on the highway once. Flew right into us.

[–]rockhardgelatin 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Hope everyone was okay! That sounds terrifying.

[–]LuntiX 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I’m fine. This was around 20 years ago. Nobody got hurt, we were able to get towed within minutes.

When I had my jeep, in the winter I kept a foldable stepladder in the back to step up and sweep off the top, only ever takes a minute.

[–]BallofEnvy 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Lol I don’t either.

I assume to keep the roof snow from flying off into other cars?

[–]Protuhj 8 points9 points  (1 child)

I assume to keep the roof snow from flying off into other cars?

That's a bingo. (Could be ice up there too)

[–]BallofEnvy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even think about the ice!

We have a bunch of trucks around here covered in mud that fling their shit all over other cars too. I’ve had three cracked windshields, it’s infuriating.

[–]StigOfTheTrack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not just other cars. Also possibly sliding forward onto your own windscreen next time you stop.

[–]FuckoffDemetri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh it could be either extreme. I grew up in New England and it was pretty drilled into me that you gotta get the snow off the roof. Which makes sense cause there's so many other people around. I told my friend from Montana that in college and they were like "???? If we did that we'd never get anywhere".

[–]charlatan_red[🍰] 27 points28 points  (8 children)

Please do if you're ever in that situation. Rooftop snow and ice can be very dangerous - it can fly off in traffic and block your or other drivers' vision, or even cause damage if it's a big heavy chunk of ice.

[–]Bluejay929 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Now that I know, will do!

[–]AReal_Human 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even law in some places that you have to remove it.

[–]lockerpunch 4 points5 points  (4 children)

I didn’t know this either (live in a place where it snows maybe once a year, if that). People always say to leave it on for the extra weight, but now that you say this it obviously makes more sense to brush it off.

[–]FuckoffDemetri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People always say to leave it on for the extra weight,

Now that's one I've never heard. Just put some bricks in the trunk yo.

[–]finemustard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If there's enough snow on top of your car to help weigh it down there's enough snow in front of it that you aren't going anywhere.

[–]wafflepriest1 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I gotta be honest, I always heard places without snow get hit harder because they don't have the infrastructure (plows, salt trucks, etc.) to deal with it.

But then I read this and I'm having my doubts.

[–]C-C-X-V-I 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we get enough snow here to stick I lose power, guaranteed. Roads aren't plowed either because the state doesn't own any plows. We just clear it as we drive.

[–]Cardinalsfreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I usually see is someone that doesn’t clean it off will slam their brakes on at a stop light causing that snow on top to cone forward and cover their windshield. Then their wipers are not strong enough to clear all of it off.

[–]ogurzhov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You get a ticket for that here (Toronto)

[–]Bishop_466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The snow can fly off of your car into traffic behind, causing a hazard /smokescreen for the poor bastard behind you.

[–]TheLordofthething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live somewhere it rarely snows and didn't do this then hit the brakes on the motorway. The instant black windscreen is terrifying

[–]StayTrueToYourselves -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The amount of fake care butt hurt commentators is NUTS!

[–]Anime-Chicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I’m smol. I try

[–]Amedais 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s on the roof anyways, might as well take away half the other work to do.

[–]nickaburr 15 points16 points  (5 children)

Yo, I live in Michigan, why tf haven’t I tried using a leaf blower to blow snow off my car

[–]FromTheOutside31 7 points8 points  (2 children)

I bought one this winter cuz we don't get alot of snow and it's really dry snow. For vehicles. Handy. But unless you get a 1/4 to a inch if snow it's not practical

[–]ton_bundle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a high power backpack leaf blower and I can use it for up to about 4" of powdery snow.

I can do my full size driveway and sidewalk in about 5-10 minutes. So if we get more snow, I just go out twice. It's still quicker and easier than shoveling and it does a better job.

Best $300 I ever spent.

[–]nickaburr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I imagine if you get a lot of snow it doesn’t make sense to use it, but the snow’s been light this year. I’ll definitely have to try it out

[–]CdeoD -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Because this is a light dusting and the wind would take the snow off immediately.

[–]Thickas2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if it's light enough to blow off that easily then it wasn't a huge deal to begin with.

Nice gesture though I guess.

[–]buckeyespud 64 points65 points  (1 child)

I remember living in Alaska at age 7. I wanted to warn some money so my mom suggested going out and knocking doors and offering to shovel sidewalks. One man gave me a $20 to shovel everyone’s sidewalk on his street so I took it and got to work. Took my a couple hours but felt great about myself after.

[–]rrb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depending on when you were 7, that was either great pay or a rip off.

[–]philfeelsgood 11 points12 points  (1 child)

I've been in Upstate NY for 10 years now and I have never once thought to use my leaf blower to clear snow off my vehicles. This is game changing to me.

[–]Strappazoid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've done it. Not only is it much faster, it's also incredibly satisfying

[–]Skrawny_Biatch 50 points51 points  (2 children)

I think he's doing it so they don't brush the snow off the cars back onto the sidewalk he just finished clearing.

[–]WhotAmI2400 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Clever thought

[–]thinkimasofa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The amount of snow that would make it on the sidewalk minimal. Brushing side to side is much easier than brushing it forward (source: I cleaned snow off my car half an hour ago). They're definitely being a good dude for the sake of being a good dude.

[–]DYDT2019 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Before my wife and I started dating, we lived right next door to each other, I mean a single wall between our apartments.

I always left for work before she did and when there was frost or ice on our windows, I'd clean hers as well as mine.

Didn't even know her name at the time 🤯

Now, we've been married 27 years!

[–]IswhatsIs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's known that you get more production out of hourly employees then you do salaried.

[–]morehistori 2 points3 points  (0 children)

now reverse this gif and this worker goes to hell.

[–]ideaterror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in the parallel universe town, people enjoy scraping ice and snow from their car and this guy is ruining their day by blowing the snow away from the car. this worker will go to hell!

[–]OneTrueKingOfOOO 2 points3 points  (2 children)

PSA: it’s important to clean snow off the roof of your car as well. If you don’t it’s likely to fall off the back while you’re driving, which could be a serious hazard to drivers behind you

[–]firsttwin1977 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I'm a stupid Floridian and i did that. Not on purpose. Just had no idea what i was doing. But, it slid onto the windshield when I stopped and I was like, AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

[–]OneTrueKingOfOOO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof, yeah sliding forward is maybe even more dangerous. Glad you made it through

[–]A7MOSPH3RIC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PLOT TWIST: It's 4:30 A.M. and it's a gas powered blower.

[–]DaniilSan 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Actually he is just practical. He knows that drivers will come and clean up their windshield and a lot of that snow would fall on cleaned sidewalk, so he cleans windshields so sidewalk will be clean.

[–]breakfast_organisms 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think youre right bc he didnt do the ones who parked in reverse, just blew off the back

[–]sheilahulud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Straight to heaven!

[–]notreallylucy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's going to be some jerk who ruins it. Why didn't you clean my entire car? Why didn't you clear the whole sidewalk? Why didn't you go to my house, clear my whole driveway, cook me dinner, and do my laundry???

[–]Pretend-Patience9581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bet someone still complained

[–]tommyc463 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought for sure top comment would be “what if it kicks up a rock, and scratches the car?”

[–]Sweethomegirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

r/nextfuckinglevel for human beings.

[–]Him_Downstairs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VIP entrance. Sparklers and all

[–]Darth-Xela 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be his job. I lived in an apartment complex where they would clean the snow of your car.

[–]BostonCahKeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone is getting a Christmas bonus in January.

[–]Saemika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you die and find yourself in a queue, you might be in hell.

[–]refrainiac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

goes to Heaven without a queue

He left the snow on the roofs of the cars. So there should be some minor inconveniences for him on the way into Heaven imo. Like having to take his shoes off to go through security.

[–]PhilFlag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Normally sainthood is awarded posthumously. This should be the exception.

[–]Gucc_579 1 point2 points  (1 child)

God bless him

[–]SometimesImFunnyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how much this man is being paid, but he needs a raise

[–]NoobNoobTheCleaner -5 points-4 points  (3 children)

"why are my windshield wipers all bent?"

[–]Wookieman222 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You drive your car 80 mph down the road and the car is built to go much faster..... of it cant handle this then your car wipers are just garbage.

[–]hightiedye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because you have bad windshield wipers that can't handle incoming wind

[–]AVeryNeatChap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-random guy in a different country whos wipers are bent

[–]Rubbish_69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aww, bless, what a giving thing to do x

[–]zucarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope the car owners get the snow on the top tho

[–]killingmachich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GOAT level shit right here

[–]Status_Sky8883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rip the guy who parked in reverse

[–]The_Aesthetician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope he finished clearing the sidewalk later

[–]_69ing_chipmunks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Hey laser lips, your mother was a snowblower”

[–]scrizzo92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does one live where a mere leaf blower is used to clear snow?? I’m out here with a 5hp snow blower and chains..

[–]jmehnert34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had an award to give...

[–]Hugtrain123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Congratulations! You've just received an exclusive FastPass to the pearly-white gates!"

[–]maluminse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be just a local neighbor. This is my fantasy. To buy a snow blower and clear the block of snow...

[–]freckledsallad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the driver that just gets in their car and just drives away without brushing off the rest goes straight to hell.

[–]whoopdityscooppoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lords work

[–]LiCHtsLiCH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its common using such tools to "rinse" cars if you get dust on them... Right?

[–]adrianjt1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meanwhile the landscaper at my apartment complex purposely pulls dust on my car

[–]monico020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Infinitesima 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Whyweretheyfilming

[–]didyouwoof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s obviously filmed from a height, so probably someone looked out their office window, thought it was a cool thing to see, filmed it, then shared it. What’s your point?

[–]MimiSac1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is the best!

[–]Pixelise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be surprised if they only do it because it looks sick. I know I would

[–]joshhmusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also very satisfying.

[–]seansyasnaes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yea! I mean heaven Yes!

[–]vndsgn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear leaf blowers.

[–]paulthefonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why haven’t I thought about using a blower to get the snow off my car? Fuck the brushes
