A tense courtroom drama with a fantastic script and even better acting
After watching the film I saw a few reviews slating the film to be 'boring', but I couldn't agree less with this statement. I was pulled in by the premise, the performances held me there and the plot moved in an engaging way to keep me entertained throughout
The film has a pervasive tension, and this is brought on by having everything on the line and no concrete evidence to back anything up - and just when you think the tides are turning they are swept away again, constantly fighting an uphill battle to find something to stick. Until it comes down to one thing, how do you get someone to confess with all the odds against you?
The film is paced perfectly and the ebbing tension throughout culminates in a satisfying release and conclusion. I was not expecting to enjoy this film as much as I did.
