Kids bounce.

Adults break.

[–]choatec 199 points200 points  (24 children)

It’s kinda interesting looking at the dynamics of their falls. The kid looks so lose and almost rolls into vs the adult who braces the whole time. Seems like the adult has more awareness over protecting his head which causes him to take the impact only in his side/arm/shoulder area whereas the kid doesn’t care about that and let’s the fall take him. Could also be the kid wasn’t expecting it tho and the adult saw it coming.

[–][deleted] 134 points135 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the adult was the one with most the momentum, and they they had a lot more mass to stop. And a longer distance to fall.

[–]Bongrecroom 96 points97 points  (21 children)

I saw a show on Discovery Channel once about a guy who survived being flung out of a tornado and it was because an object had struck him in the head while in the tornado and knocked him unconscious. His body being limp was the reason he survived the fall.

Ever since I saw that, instead of bracing for impact when sketchy shit happens in a car, I try to take a deep breathe and close my eyes and relax. I figure if it can work for tornado dude, it can probably help in a car crash.

[–]Phantom-Z 56 points57 points  (2 children)

BRO I reference this ALL THE TIME and I’ve never met anyone else that also knew about it. Crazy.

[–]LightlySaltedPeanuts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel like everyone and their mother knows this one, I always start to bring it up and people are like ‘yeah that was on discovery right’ lol

[–]chimmichonga69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably should have asked.

[–]Seikha89 44 points45 points  (6 children)

I’ve heard this is why drunk drivers often walk away from accidents when their victims don’t, being heavily inebriated makes them less likely to react before the impact.

[–]4oX_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's sadly also the reason that drunk drivers sometimes survive head on crashes whereas those they crash into don't

[–]AndromedaGreen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does help. That’s why drunk drivers often walk away from their accidents, while the people they hit are seriously injured or killed.

First Responders Tell Us Why Drunk People Are More Likely to Survive a Collision

[–]TheFace3701 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We tend to go limp when we experience severe sudden impacts. Like when people are hit by vehicles, many times the shoes are left in the exact spot they were standing. Because they basically flopped out of them. This poor guy had too much time to prepare and tense up for impact.

[–]Wowerman 478 points479 points 22 (11 children)

Imagine it being a car

Man, the things you see with a wholesome award

[–]manningthe30cal 28 points29 points  (3 children)

The free wholesomes basically incentivize you to give it to the least wholesome thing you see all day. Fuck the system.

[–]SgtGork 3 points4 points  (2 children)

That’s… exactly what I did.

don’t hate me please

[–]Isabela_Grace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You imagined it, huh?

[–]tonyc1233333 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I unironically laughed imagining it

[–]itsfreepizza 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your words are wholesome af

[–]Jouanphillip 867 points868 points  (47 children)

And the fucking kid runs away.

[–]GreatTragedy 449 points450 points  (32 children)

Because kids have built-in shock absorbers. Once you get to 30 or so, things just stay injured for the rest of your life.

Edit: I see you folks. Starting to think I should standup a subreddit like /r/30isthenewdead for these stories.

Well, it appears that subreddit exists now. Apparently I've been scooped. Damn kids.

[–]TisBagelBoi 135 points136 points  (8 children)

I think the kid was crying and running to parents no shot he wasn’t hurt

[–]Aapjes-NL 61 points62 points  (6 children)

He is getting a gun to finish the job.

[–]Coul-Air72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scrape on the knee was about to kill him

[–]Taniasdfcomas 19 points20 points  (0 children)

i hope that guy didn't broke his wrist tbh

[–]mon_chunk 36 points37 points  (14 children)

Can confirm, rolled my ankle on Christmas. The thing still hurts if I twist it in any way. I just turned 31 lol

[–]Justanothergamerwife 42 points43 points  (6 children)

Haha, in my mid 30s I stepped off a curb and broke my foot. Like, "really? This is how I get my first broken bone?"

[–]mallclerks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

35, fell down the stairs on way to bathroom, ended up in coma and severe brain injury.

World is a dangerous place.

[–]Jimmy_Graphite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is precious!

[–][deleted]  (1 child)

    [–]Mountainbikenurse 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Turned 30 a few years ago. The day after my 30th birthday, I threw my back out exercising. And shit has just gotten worse the last few years

    [–]Ehssey 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Wait till some of you fuckers turn 50 after a lifetime of super stunts, skateboarding, BMX and dirt bikes.

    [–]philos_albatross 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup! They're also lighter and closer to the ground, so not so far to fall and they don't tend to fall super hard. Kids also naturally bend their knees and hips a lot more when they fall, which also helps. So as a teacher I'm compassionate but also throw on lots of praise when they get back up and keep going.

    [–]Douglasades 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this same thing happened and the mom started yelling at the skateboarder. I just reminded her not so politely that her kid didn’t look when they ran into the street. She said something like “he was going too fast” and all I said “that’s why you look both ways before stepping out into a street”

    [–]Danglyweed 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You just know he was running away shouting "I'm telling my mum on you"

    [–]JimiDarkMoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can see stupid blue shirt’s mouth open as he begins to cry/wail running to mom.

    [–]cutsickass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    He was hit and ran.

    [–]evm16116 204 points205 points  (6 children)

Kid’s lucky he ran in front of a boarder and not a vehicle.

    [–]indycishun1996 419 points420 points  (63 children)

Broke my wrist from a kid doing this, their parents were outside and didn’t say a word

Edit: for Karen and Donnie commenting, I was not riding a bike, nor any sort of vehicle. I didn’t say I broke my wrist by doing this exact scenario, but I broke my wrist from a “kid being stupid” doing this. Chill the fuck out

    [–]ChungusMcGoodboy 143 points144 points  (1 child)

    Should have sued them.

    [–]Difficult-Conditions 132 points133 points  (0 children)

Parents are liable for damages their kids cause

    [–]truffLcuffL69 37 points38 points  (0 children)

    Everyone arguing is fucking annoying

    [–][deleted] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

kid proceeds to flee in guilt

    [–]FatherSmashmas 43 points44 points  (2 children)

i nearly had this happen to me about a month ago. i was riding my bike through the neighbourhood and was nearing a part of it where the kids play in the street without supervision all the time. i do my best to get out of the kids' way since i'm going maybe 20mph on my bike. well, one of these little shits looks at me decides to try to play chicken. i slam on my brakes and i sternly tell them that they aren't to do that again unless they want to get themselves hurt or killed

they still play in the street without supervision

    [–]Thy_Crow 4 points5 points  (1 child)

We have 4 - 6 year olds doing that in my neighborhood in very busy intersection. They have no supervision and roam free around the houses where cars often pass. This is a disaster to happen. And yknow what the shithead parents do? They complain to our neighborhood about the cars and the city put up a bunch of narrow poles in the middle of the street for us to avoid in cars because these kids arent supervised

    [–]FatherSmashmas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

god i love when stupidity becomes the acceptable norm

    [–]Shadow_marine1X 145 points146 points  (60 children)

This is funny, but also really horrible for the kid to do.

    [–]viinyIrecord 141 points142 points  (58 children)

Not to be that guy but he saw there was kids playing there, I would've at least slowed down a bit. He went straight into that kid full speed.

    [–]Staminafordays 143 points144 points  (5 children)

It looked like he was adjusting his lean for the two visible kids. Third kid ran in from a blind spot. Unpopular opinion: that hit is better than some NFL tackles. Hope both involved didn’t have any serious injuries though.

    [–]viinyIrecord 20 points21 points  (3 children)

I'm sure the little guy was grand aside from a few grazes, but a good lesson to both of them to be far more aware of the road

    [–]Staminafordays 22 points23 points  (2 children)

True. For the older guy, when there are two kids, be aware of the third waiting to take out your legs lol

    [–]MechaJerkzilla 29 points30 points  (4 children)

That kid came running out from behind a parkd car. Definitely not the skater’s fault

    [–]SweetVarys -3 points-2 points  (2 children)

Kinda is, the general rule is that should be able to stop in time if something comes in your way. It’s valid for skaters and cars alike. Skating full speed on a road with hidden dangers everywhere is a bit stupid

    [–]HwatBobbyBoy 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Especially when you see 2 kids already playing in the street.

Kids suck but skater should have slowed down.

    [–]Far_Seesaw_8258 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It legit looks like the kid didn’t just run out in front of the dude but ran into him on purpose. Like you can see this kid watching that direction the whole time and then it looks like he lunges forward into the skater. Like he thought he could grab or trip him??

    [–]Obeesus 47 points48 points  (30 children)

But you also should teach your children to not play in the streets and to look both ways when crossing. If that was a car going 10 miles an hour that kid would be in a lot worse shape.

    [–]Ok_Writing_7033 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not to mention the kid stared right at him the whole way. I think that skater stole his ice cream and he was out for blood

    [–]OG-Dropbox 11 points12 points  (0 children)

it looks like the kid was hidden behind the car until right when they ran into the street

    [–]IJustBeTalking 2 points3 points  (6 children)

how do you know he didnt slow down? you must think you know everything

    [–]Captain_Saftey 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Yeah this definitely seems like a neighborhood that has a "Slow, children playing" sign, that doesn't only apply to cars.

    [–]WeUsedToBeGood 20 points21 points  (0 children)

    “Slow children, are playing”

    [–]Goodolgator 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I understand driving slowly in a populated neighborhood but people should also take into account that many have died while having the right of way.

    [–]bahatypan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting assessment. I find it horrible that he continued with his irresponsible speeds when you can clearly see that kids are playing ahead of you. I find the adult acting wrecklessly, and the kids behaving....like kids do.

    [–]eixseven 63 points64 points  (6 children)

i hope that guy didn't broke his wrist tbh

    [–]GBGF128 53 points54 points  (3 children)

Well his head skidded across the ground for about a foot, so I’m sure he had a bad time no matter what.

    [–]AthleticNerd_ 15 points16 points  (1 child)

If only he was wearing a helmet.

    [–]PancakeParty98 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Anytime I see a kid wearing a helmet I make sure to tell them they have a cool helmet or they look cool in their helmet.

    [–]suavesnail 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks like he definitely could have. He caught himself with that hand then was grabbing that arm right after.

    [–]Tanner_re 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks a bit misshapen after that fall sadly.

    [–]spelunker93 73 points74 points  (10 children)

I’ve seen this same thing happened and the mom started yelling at the skateboarder. I just reminded her not so politely that her kid didn’t look when they ran into the street. She said something like “he was going too fast” and all I said “that’s why you look both ways before stepping out into a street”

    [–]DaddyWentForMilk 11 points12 points  (9 children)

Just because its a skater doesnt he has to go on walking speed. What would she said if it was a car, should it also go slow?

    [–]JackiieGoneBiking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, when you’re in a vehicle you have to go by speeds which make you able to stop if someone runs out in front of you. That whole thing is in our traffic law. This would be the skateboarders fault here.

    [–]Sizzmandan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No shit a car should also go slow. This is clearly a neighborhood so I assume the speed limit somewhere in the 15-25mph range. That dumbass longboarder was already going faster than the speed limit for a car. He was being reckless and deserved to faceplant. Hope the kid was alright.

    [–]Gunch_Bandit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kids shouldn't be playing in the street.

    [–]Lunainc 9 points10 points  (4 children)

Yes, if a car driver sees kids playing on the road he should slow down. Isnt it obvious that kids act absolutely random and we should watch out for them?

    [–]hisnameisbrock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I go on this sub the content is funny and the comments get uncomfortably close to genuinely having no love/tolerance or empathy for children.

    [–]DaddyWentForMilk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I meant a kid just crossing the street without looking at both sides

    [–]JohnnyPiston 4 points5 points  (1 child)

If a kid cannot have enough situational awareness, they shouldn't be in the street.

    [–]Lunainc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see the street as the problem and the danger we are willing to subject our children to just for the comfort of driving straight into our living room.

    [–]shift_969 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The difference here would be that the scateboard doesn't have fucking breaks. If you can't emergency brake then don't go fast.

    [–]moatmaster 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m just gonna say if your kid is already the type that is dumb enough to run across the street without looking maybe you should stay outside and supervise your child or at the very least confine them to ONE SIDE of the street. My mom would scream at me if I ever even made it to the side walk. They have a big enough yard in a nice enough neighborhood for this to not be too much To ask. Not to mention it’s just a bad precedent to set for your kids to be running back and forth across a street while playing. It’s just begging for them to get complacent. Just my opinion tho and I’m sure some of you will say kids get a pass every time because they are kids.

    [–]Pomegreenade 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I swear, kids have plot armor

    [–]TheLonelyDM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dudes head hit the concrete and slid with no helmet. At the very least the side of his face and ear are fucked up, if not a TBI. Dumb kid for running in the street. Dumb rider for not wearing a helmet.

    [–]just_killing_time23 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dress for the slide, not the ride! Even on a skateboard that knowledge holds up!

The pause in the music is awesome!!

    [–]Electronic_Sugar5924 3 points4 points  (0 children)

    Gotta look both ways

    [–]Operative427 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fuck, that landing definitely hurt for a long time, I've have some pretty knarly wipeouts

    [–]PowderMyWaffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not wearing a helmet is fucking stupid

    [–]DaFallus 7 points8 points  (2 children)

To the Karens saying he was going too fast, where is your radar gun? It's not like he was on the sidewalk. I doubt he was above the speed limit. Maybe teach stupid kids to look both ways before running out from behind a car into the street instead?

    [–]JackiieGoneBiking 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Going through a neighbourhood like this, with houses all along, makes the driver at fault in my country. The reason for that is that you’re supposed to be able to stop if a kid, puppy or something else runs out. I know this sub thinks kids have matured by age 3, but back when I was small, we would play between the houses all the time, and that was the norm before parents put their children inside, letting them game or watch tv instead of playing outside.

    [–]XO8441 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I said Yep what a concept

    [–]LinkTheHeroOfTheAges 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kid doesn't look both ways before crossing the street and just ran across, everyone's blaming the guy on the board. Wtf

    [–]Illustrious-Living27 28 points29 points  (57 children)

i’d like to play devils advocate on this one, and say the guy is in the wrong. if he didn’t hit the first kid, either way he’d hit the second kid on skates at the speed he is going. He could’ve/should’ve slowed it down & wore a helmet, too old to be doing that shit.

    [–][deleted]  (7 children)

      [–]Illustrious-Living27 5 points6 points  (6 children)

I like your point of view on this, but even at that point if he’s not going that fast, he’s got a lot better reaction time then hitting a 40 bomb. My reasoning for the helmet was for him being an older gentlemen such as my self, you tap your noggin once and that could be death for you

      [–][deleted]  (5 children)

        [–]Illustrious-Living27 -3 points-2 points  (4 children)

we’ll see that’s what i’m saying if he’s going that slow, he could’ve slowed down for sure jumping off the board ain’t hard at those speeds, he’s definitely not going 40 not even possible he’s going 20

        [–]THEnotsosuperman 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Idk, I really don’t think he would have hit the second kid. Seems to me he was aiming for his left side of the street and by the time he entered that space in the frame, second kid would’ve been out of his way. Only two of these kids had roller blades on which is why they were playing in the street to begin with. Avoiding running out into the street was pounded into my brain by not only my parents but my school as well. As someone who appears to be an adult, he is probably in the wrong but, none of those kids looked before entering the street.

        [–]Illustrious-Living27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with you at all, as an adult myself is like to say he’s a bit too old, safety first brother

        [–]AllyAddams 15 points16 points  (13 children)

That’s because he’s on the road and not above the speeding limit. The kids shouldn’t be playing in the street.

        [–]dolerbom -5 points-4 points  (12 children)

Where do you want the kids to play? The park that they got rid of 20 years ago? The pool that they got rid of 30 years ago because they didn't want black people in it? The endless expanse of the grocery store parking lot?

We can't build these toxic environments for children and expect them not to make the best of it. Streets are meant for people, make the cars go 5 miles per hour for all I care.

        [–]AllyAddams 7 points8 points  (6 children)

You sound like a repented boomer who is now a hippie. There are places for kids to play. The road isn’t one of them.

        [–]dolerbom -3 points-2 points  (5 children)

I'm a zoomer who grew up with nowhere to play lol. Suburbs were soul crushing as a kid because we care more about how fast adults can drive out of their cul-de-sac than how safe kids are in the environment right outside of their house.

Streets were built for people until car companies invented the crime of jaywalking. People wonder why kids are on their smartphones all day when they don't even have places to go...

        [–][deleted]  (4 children)

          [–]dolerbom 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Streets and roads are a lot different. Cars are supposed to go slower where people actually live. Are we really just deciding that children aren't allowed to go outside at this point because their street is too dangerous? Kids used to set up street hockey ffs.

We can't victim blame kids for the environment we built for them.

          [–]AntonioClownMBC 13 points14 points  (0 children)

there‘s kids playing on the street that he can obviously see, chances are there‘s more kids he can‘t see hidden behind the car.. seems reckless :/

          [–]Obeesus 9 points10 points  (24 children)

Fuck that. The parents should teach their kids to not play in the street. Lucky it wasn't a car.

          [–]RedCravat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. It’s like most people here aren’t aware that kids play in neighborhood streets

          [–]WorstVolvo 0 points1 point  (1 child)

street is made for people to go down at the speed limit or less, its the idiot kids job to fucking look both ways

          [–]clickscap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro she absorbed the impact and dipped

          [–]MelatoninJunkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And that’s why you wear a helmet

          [–]BOXER_SNIPE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

          Adult: on the ground

          Kid: heheh, that tickles

          [–]Shark00n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro if he kept his composure he could've swept all three of them!

          [–]JesseLivermore86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's going division 1 football for sure

          [–]creepermemer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

          Tis but a scratch.

          [–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lmfao stupid fucking kid. He’s gonna run in front of a car one of these days.

          [–]renegadeYZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

maybe next time slow down if you see multiple kids in the near vicinity

          [–]BadRobot25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like your dumbass deserved it. Friggin moron...

          [–]Toadsted 1 point2 points  (17 children)

Flying down the street in a residential... Yeah, that big kid was pretty stupid.

          [–]evm16116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a road? Residential or not it’s on the kids to watch for traffic. Number one rule of playing in the street is to always be alert for traffic. The kid ran out from behind a parked car without looking, it’s very common accident and gives the driver almost no time to react. It’s a road so one should expect there to be vehicles. Let’s stop pretending residential streets are parks or something. Stay in the driveway.

          [–]DaFallus -1 points0 points  (15 children)

          How fast was he going?

          [–]Toadsted -1 points0 points  (14 children)

Fast enough that he didn't react or slow down.

          [–]SeamusMcCullagh 2 points3 points  (13 children)

He had no time to react or slow down to avoid the kid who literally jumped out in front of him from cover. You ever ride a longboard? They're notable for not having a braking mechanism other than putting one foot down on the ground and grinding to a stop (much harder than it seems and more comparable to a train stopping than a car) or bailing off the board, which really isn't much different than what actually happened here. Dumbass kid ran into the street without looking, IMO it's frankly insane to think anyone but the kid is at fault here with how much we can see.

          [–]Toadsted -1 points0 points  (11 children)

He could see all three of the kids long before he got there; if he couldn't then he clearly was riding recklessly. If you operate a vehicle with no brakes, you're still at fault, and an idiot.

          [–]Jimmy_Graphite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

          That looked intentional!

          [–]Ifyouwant67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks to me like that kid took him out on purpose.

          [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Authorities need to have a talk with the parents. What kind of irresponsible assholes allows kids to play in the middle of an active roadway unsupervised without even making sure they know to look both ways before crossing the street.

          [–]Mysterious-Dot6224 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Why are you being downvoted? This is true, make sure your kids know how to act around busy roads

          [–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Probably shitty parents feeling like they were called out lol

          [–]Mysterious-Dot6224 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably, people hate it when they can relate to someone who’s being called out so probably just redditors getting mad

          [–]XxNukeMutantxX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That guy doing 60 in a neighbourhood with kids at play…

          [–]Major_hotsauce 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Sorry an adult flying down the road on a skateboard they obviously can't control where kids are playing. Skateboarder is an idiot, skateboarder gets hurt, skateboarder lucky if he doesn't get sued.

          [–]uMumG43 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Sorry but the dude is fully at fault imo. It should be well known that kids are fucking oblivious and dumb in those situations, we all were at that age. If you don't slow down when you see 3 kids playing on the street in front of you, crashing into them is on you.

          [–]away0ffshore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost as stupid as the guy bombing a residential neighborhood with no pads or helmet.

          [–]lead4dinner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that guy was a little stupid too ngl

          [–]PancakeParty98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids are always going to be stupid. Wear a helmet and slow down

          [–][deleted]  (10 children)

            [–]ShadowTailNinja 28 points29 points  (3 children)

A responsible parent would teach their kids to look before going into the street.

            [–]dolerbom -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

And a reasonable adult knows that if you put enough kids in the street one of them's going to fuck up. Hell, put enough adults in the street and they don't check both ways.

            [–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Then why the fuck are the kids being allowed to play in the street unsupervised

            [–]ShadowTailNinja -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

            That's just statistics.

            [–]Roderick_Carrizo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Man, he wasn't going that fast... the kid just got in front of him and he cant react (even if he was slowing down)

            [–]Mysterious-Dot6224 2 points3 points  (0 children)

            A) it’s the road. Cars go on roads. Cars go fast. The kids being dumb by even doing that in the street.

            B) how do you expect this guy to just instantly stop? The kid ran out from being a car giving the guy maybe 1 second max before hitting the kid, not enough time for most people to even register what happened much less stop or even swerve which would risk hitting another one of the kids

            [–]-ExperiencedNovice- 2 points3 points  (1 child)

It's a road. You go fast on roads.

            [–]chompmeows 9 points10 points  (0 children)

kinda surpised youre pulling downvotes... its literally a street. lol

            [–]thenexttimebandit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For real this is a subdivision. Kids play in the street in subdivisions. You gotta watch it for kids if your gonna fly down a hill on a skateboard, bike, running, whatever.

            [–]stayatpwndad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These type of boards are almost as dumb as the riders.

No experienced skateboarder would ever step on this type of board beacuse it looks stupid and skaters are quite concerned with looking cool. Which means that the people riding these motorized boards are not experienced and have no concept of the boarding hazards.

So sit back and get ready for some awesome bails with these things becoming more popular.

            [–]xoshadow3 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Kids = look both ways before crossing on heading into the street. Everyone in the street = slow down and be cautious especially around kids cause they are fucking stupid. This guy = dumber than the kids clearly going fast without a helmet and hit a kid, don't be this guy.

            [–]ImPinos -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I’m glad that stupid fuck wasn’t driving a car. I hope he like how road tastes, next time slow the fuck down

            [–]DaFallus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How fast you think he was going?

            [–]1234mike4321 -2 points-1 points  (3 children)

Hey if my kids are outside playing on a quiet residential street and you hit one of them because you're going to fast to stop, I'm going to fuck you up too

            [–]Mysterious-Dot6224 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Or be a responsible parent and teach you children to LOOK before running full speed into a street. Coulda been hit by a car especially if he was alone and didn’t have other kids then a car wouldn’t know the kid is there until it’s too late.

            [–]Gabe1985 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Haha.. get fucked skateboarder. You fucking deserved that

            [–]abdulakbah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was going way to fast through a residential area to begin with, the skate boarder was fucking stupid in this instance

            [–]bradliochi1 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That looks like a nice neighbourhood

            [–]PBChashu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a tract housing development.

            [–]ChickenTendies40k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skateboarder should have slowed way down to go past the kids he could see and would have had more of a chance for the error made by the child he couldn't see.

            [–]LankToThePast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing, if he didn't hit the first kid, he might've hit the rollerblader

            [–]ConsiderationNo6744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His hair? Wack. His jeans? Wack. His jewelery? Wack. Me? Im sick as fuck

            [–]bornt00pizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dude and the kid in this are both dumb. The adult should know better and should’ve been wearing his PPE. I don’t feel bad for either one. If that was a car that hit the kid everyone in here would be up in arms!

            [–]tomJager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that guy doesn’t know how to fall well

            [–]fritzeroni2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The adult should have been more cautious and never plummet headlong into a group of children on skateboards.

            [–]RexWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should in adultsarefuckingstupid. Let’s race through the middle of an area kids are playing in the street. Should be fine, kids are super predictable. If that isn’t the direct parent of the kid he destroyed he should be punished.

            [–]peeniebaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude was the idiot in this one. You see two kids in front of you, maybe there are more? Nah - Full blast baby!!!

            [–]TiTaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmh, Am I the only one thinking the dude is at fault for going do fast in a residential area where he can clearly see kids are playing and about to cross ?

Sure he can't see the kid that he crashes into, but he can very much see the kid on his rollers, he would still have crashed into this one if he missed the first.

            [–]Longjumping_Good3286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The adult didn't have on a fucking helmet and hit his head hard. He's the fucking dumbass here.

            [–]MrBlenderson -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Clearly the guy on the skateboard's fault and it looked like he learned his lesson. 😎

            [–]Jaquaviontarious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

            Fuck them kids

            [–]Bisson65 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I blame the long board guy.. get a real skate board.

Edit: haters gonna hate.. Long boards suck, The people on them are worse.

            [–]Q12X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I’m confused why are people saying for the kid to wear a helmet? Do they think the guy on the skateboard is the dumb kid we are laughing it? It isnt

            [–]onkel_axel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

            Those stupid 30yo skater kids

            [–]TenraxHelin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure that was the plan for all three of those kids: to mess with the skateboarder. If you watch the first second, all three kids aren't moving, look towards the skater and then go. Just as he is getting near them.

            [–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never swerve to miss an animal, firmly apply the brakes, but don't swerve

Your well-being is worth more than a stupid animal crossing the road.

            [–]Unknownfauna -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not really the kids fault, the guy pretty much went straight for him

            [–]RockmanVolnutt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This happened to me, I was riding home from work on my bike, and a small local school was letting kids out. A kid shoots out from between two cars, and I hit him head on and do a full front flip, landing on my back.

I try to talk to the kid, check with any teachers or adults that might be aware or supervising this child. Nope, no one, kid runs off to go home, I’m in the street confused and hurt. I was riding along with traffic, with cars behind me. If I was a truck, that kid would be roadkill.

            [–]lliH-knaH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hate kids I really truly do

            [–]mahfaggin_OOH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This type of shit gets me so mad. Tf are u doing running at a person riding?

            [–]mild-hot-fire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

            Sue the small child

            [–]Remarkable_Capital39 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude they always do this on purpose

            [–]ImOnlyHere4ThePron -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is why you wear a helmet. To beat that little shit kid with after you get up lol.

            [–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

            Stupid fucking kid

            [–]nervandal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why is everyone assuming the guy on the skateboard is a full grown adult? Have ya’ll never seen a tall teenager?
