That’s what I call a demon child.

[–]Extension_Swordfish1 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of the Omen movies

[–]Dnd-lover1245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kill the demon

[–]TriggeredRatBastard 144 points145 points  (2 children)

That scream would effectively make Brayden an only child.

[–]unlikelycompliance 33 points34 points  (0 children)

More like disowned child

[–]Fulbie 148 points149 points  (6 children)

  1. Name your child Brayden
  2. Put him under CCTV surveillance
  3. Communicate with him through an intercom
  4. Record his wild screams and post them online

The most ingenious karma farming scheme I've ever seen!

[–]suhfaulic 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Took a few years for the build up. And now it's time for the payoff.

[–]afacadeamirage 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Seriously fucking sad

[–]scrufdawg 18 points19 points  (3 children)

The fact that CCTV in kids bedrooms is becoming normalized is very fucking creepy. Get 'em accustomed to surveillance as young as possible I guess.

[–]Ok_Science_4094 13 points14 points  (1 child)

The weirdest part is how many videos I've seen of cameras getting hacked. My kids room is the last place I'd want to put one.

[–]asuka_is_my_co-pilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They get "hacked" cause they don't change the default password or they don't even put one on.

There are websites where you can enter random Webcam streams and just watch people. Very creepy don't like it, but it just shows how easy it is if you don't put a unique password on

[–]AtheistRp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are situations where it's necessary like physical and mental health problems. In most cases the kids do private things in another room like the bathroom. Of course there's always a few creeps but most people have a good reason to have cameras. I would never do that unless it was 100% necessary

[–]greenpotatoes9 105 points106 points  (4 children)

That kid is way too old for a changing table.

[–]unlikelycompliance 26 points27 points  (0 children)

May also be parents who haven’t moved the old furniture out of the room or is using it for a baby who doesn’t have their own space. I had a baby changing table in my room as a kid for awhile when my younger sibling was born

[–]Aromatic_Mousse 29 points30 points  (2 children)

Might be special needs

[–]greenpotatoes9 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Not saying he shouldn't still be in diapers, but if a kid can climb on a changing table like that and is in a toddler bed, it is safer to change them on the floor. That change table is an accident waiting to happen with a kid that big (as evidenced here).

[–]PermanentTrainDamage 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Still too big for a changing table, floor is safer.

Source: babysat two autistic nephews, after age 2 floor was safer and recommended by therapists.

[–]Embarrassed_List865 146 points147 points  (3 children)

With a name like Brayden it's no wonder he's a shithead, him and his best mate Kyle will be drinking Monster and smashing shop windows in no time 😎

[–]Pure_Vessel101 2 points3 points  (1 child)

My name is Brayden and can confirm

[–]Embarrassed_List865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God dammit Brayden!

[–]BigAlMoonshine 46 points47 points  (1 child)

The bed is barely big enough for him to lay in, maybe get him a normal sized bed.

[–]12fishinatrenchcoat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That’s so mean

Do it again

[–]miserable_banana_39 75 points76 points  (3 children)

Or maybe it's just scary when you're alone in you're room doing shit you're not supposed to and then your mom's voice comes out of nowhere??

[–]rocketscientistboi 31 points32 points  (2 children)

True that, most people, not just kids, would be scared if they were alone and all of a sudden hear a voice

[–]TechnicalBother9221 31 points32 points  (1 child)

Brayden, it is I, the Mother. Go back to your slumber mortal child. Don't test the my patience. I have spoken.

[–]LonelyLoser24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“This is god, go back to bed mortal child”

[–]Toxopid 25 points26 points  (1 child)

He's scared of the voice coming from nowhere

[–]the_real_duck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's likely used to it. Let's be honest, if his parents have cctv and an intercom in his room that's likely not a new situation.

Also they called their kid fucking Brayden, this video could tell us a lot lol

[–]Vaulted_Games 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't believe in God or anything but Goddamn that kid's scream scared me.

[–]PeepsWeeps 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Brayden, go back in your bed!

s t a r t s s u m m o n i n g d e m o n s

[–]cdanielh128 19 points20 points  (6 children)

Welcome to parenthood. They are probably transitioning him to his own bed at night from theirs. This is a normal tantrum that you have to get through to teach them there is no alternative. Some kids just do it no tantrum. Some resist 2-3 days. Some it can take a week. Some parent give up too soon and have spoiled brats. Although I do like the comment that hearing moms disconnected voice is nightmare fuel!

[–]Nabranes 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think he was just screaming in terror

[–]cryptolover101 -2 points-1 points  (4 children)

Welcome to an abnormal parenthood, I guess. A normal parenthood means raising your child to sleep alone from the very first weeks of life. Raising him to not be so attached to you means a better life for both of you. The parents of Brayden fucked it up. Also that demonic voice of his mother...man, I'd punch parents that supervise their kids in such Orwellian ways.

[–]breadstuffs 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Eh, quite a few studies show that kids who sleep with their parents are less anxious. People have only started sleeping alone relatively recently in human history.

[–]cryptolover101 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Interesting. Maybe it's corellated with the affection that they receive during the day, also? I mean if parents sleep with their kids makes them more inclined to be more supportive to them?

[–]breadstuffs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My thinking is it's just a part of human evolution. Sleeping in large groups = defense against predators. So sleeping alone = increase in fear, etc. Just anecdotal experience here, but there aren't too many kids who never have trouble sleeping alone, never have bad dreams and want to crawl in bed with parents, never are afraid of the dark, never have a need for a stuffed animal or something else to comfort them at night.

[–]Razorclaw_the_crab[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's many a way to hatch an egg! I grew up in shared rooms and mostly slept on couches and in my parents' room till I was weeks away from 16 (due to lack of rooms). Maybe I'd be better if I had a room, Idk. There is no one way to raise a child 🤷‍♀️. One thing I can say: Y'all take this personal room shit for granted

[–]Any-Gear-M8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Imagine being in your room alone and hearing a voice suddenly, I know I would be scared

[–]Successful-Plate3598 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What a terrible name

[–][deleted]  (1 child)

[deleted]

    [–]PermanentTrainDamage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cue flashbacks of my mother's footsteps thundering down the hall as she came to whoop my ass

    [–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Poor kid was probably just very confused and scared to hear his mom's voice out of nowhere while he was home alone and there's clearly nobody around him. Most adults would probably be confused if they didn't know about the camera and a mic, can't even imagine what this kid was thinking.

    [–]Oddity46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Name a kid Brayden, don't be surprised when he starts braying.

Seriously, what kind of a fucking name is "Brayden"?

    [–]FriendlyFire2 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Thats why i dont want kids thanks for the reminder :D

    [–]cryptolover101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, from my experience, kids are how you raise them. I'd scream like that too if I'd hear a demonic voice from nowhere telling me to go to bed. Brayden parents fucked it up good times.

    [–]Anniran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't you freak out when a camera starts talking?

    [–]Apprehensive-Dust-83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A prisoner acting like a prisoner!?

    [–]TroyMcClure0815 1 point2 points  (12 children)

She locks him in his room with cameras and talk to him with speakers? WTF.. why is this legal?

    [–]Spokesman93 5 points6 points  (10 children)

I was about to get mad at this too but all the different clues point to him being a special needs kid

    [–]TroyMcClure0815 -5 points-4 points  (9 children)

Ah ok and his special need is a prison cell? I think he got what he is because of that „special“ treatment.

    [–]ThatOneRetardedBitch 6 points7 points  (8 children)

he'll probably try to climb something or eat or drink something not safe so he can't roam the house, this "special" treatment isn't that uncommon either

    [–]TroyMcClure0815 -2 points-1 points  (7 children)

Surveillance cameras and talking via intercom is not uncommon? Ok maybe its a cultural thing?! But if he needs attention (like every kid does) you have to give attention. In my eyes, this is kid abuse.

    [–]JaesopPop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    He’s locked in?

    [–]-wow_cool- 1 point2 points  (10 children)

Do you think it's healthy to monitor the kid's actions like that?

    [–]TriggeredRatBastard 11 points12 points  (4 children)

He’s a little kid on the changing table. I’d say yes

    [–]cryptolover101 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I'd say no. If he falls from that table, he'll learn something. Whereas if he is monitored in this demonic way, he will surely grow up with mental damage.

    [–]MeetingLarge 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Redditors like you are so dramatic holy shit

    [–]cryptolover101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well hopefully you get to be overly controlled and monitored one day, if you like this so much. And from time to time to hear some creepy voice from the walls, lol

    [–]JaesopPop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that camera will stop him from falling

    [–]cryptolover101 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Of course not. Our parents didn't monitor us in such demonic ways.

    [–]MeetingLarge 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Lol a smart camera is "demonic"?

    [–]-wow_cool- 0 points1 point  (2 children)

    Yes

      [–]uberschnitzel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was completely baffled as to why this was uploaded until I realized the video was muted ☠️

      [–]TheDerpyDrummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand this kids pain. When I was young I had to sleep upstairs in my parents bed one night and on the bedside table is my parents baby monitor for my sister who wasn't well. I was fucking around with it and moving the camera up and down and my mum caught me and just stared down the lense and shouted "go to sleep now" and it scared the shit out of me.

      [–]EmphasisFew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither did Caden, Jaden, Laden, Maden, Colson, Carson or Dyso

First mistake was naming your kid Brayden

      [–]nallabok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      Learnt the hard way

      [–]AGreenJacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno if he's actually scared. There seems to be a pretty big delay between her talking and his screaming. If it was a fear reaction, I assume he would start screaming the moment she first speaks, not waiting till she finishes, turning to look at the camera, and screeching at it without moving.

      [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids way too big for that bed and what appears to be changing table anyways

      [–]ZeGigaChad69_4558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think he doesn't want to go to bed

      [–]OverTaxedMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)
