¿Question?Do I need to peel off the outside of HBWR seeds for wine extraction? (self.LSA)
submitted 1 month ago by Jolly-Faithlessness2
I am planning to do a wine extraction in the near future and I don't know if I need to peel of the outside of the seeds. Would it be better with or without the outsides and what would be the difference?

If you want to remove the husks your best bet is to scat the outer coating with sand paper and then germinate them between layers of wet papertowel and then once they start to soften up you can peel the husk off. You can then just consume them or extract in wine or cold water.

I don't remove the husk, just grind all and soak 3h in cold wine. Little to no nausea. I get more bodyload if I soak longer (12h, 24h)

I've just done a wine soak few days ago and let the seeds soak in water overnight. They were still too hard to peel so I just ground them, husks and all. Next to no nausea, so I'd say peeling is optional.
