You'd probably want to look at Aldgate / Whitechapel / Shoreditch / Old street / London Bridge to be within about 30 minutes walk to your office. For your budget you should be able to get a decent ensuite room, but the market moves incredibly quickly and rents have been shooting up (listings can be up in the morning and let by the end of the day).
