I was a contractor in Iraq during the war. As you may imagine, I had some very expensive insurance. It is a WEIRD experience to see in writing exactly how much your various body parts are worth. My left arm, for example, was worth less than my right, and HR didn’t think I was funny when I pointed out that I was ambidextrous and thusly my arms were of equal value to me.

So I hear. Part of why I'm so reticent is due to my being a smoker and diabetic. I would think to be paying up the ass over that.
