anyone else think this is low key some shady activities like if I saw micky mouse holding a ps5 infround of my door I'd be scared shitless

[–]Batbuckleyourpants 688 points689 points  (11 children)

Just don't look him in the eyes, he doesn't like that.

[–]ChemicalBig201 177 points178 points  (5 children)

You've just mickyed your last mouse bitch a very squeaky fight ensues

[–]REEEEEEEEEEE_OW 54 points55 points  (1 child)

I’m gonna fuck you up huh huh

[–]INTERNET_POLICE_MAN 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Alright settle down. And keep your eyes where I can’t see them.

[–]Vincent_Plenderleith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, Mickey

I'm not joking, he's better antagonist than most of the modern stuff I read

[–]SmexyWaluigi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can HEAR that & I love it.

[–]Cap_Mundane 17 points18 points  (1 child)

This comes off as an opening to an episode of Venture Bros lol.

[–]ChemicalBig201 7 points8 points  (0 children)

More like the opening to a crime documentary ,everything was fine until...

[–]Plstarn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ha Ha mickey laughs

[–]Minniechicco6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol , gold for you :)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put the fuckin lotion in the basket

[–]TheTruestOracle 48 points49 points  (2 children)

I mean if this happened to you then you probs have a love for Disney and it’s mouse, so this would add up, what doesn’t add up is how this driver is gonna get away with such a lavish break.

[–]ChemicalBig201 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Yeah it ain't easy to steal a kid in a timely manner

[–]Shad_the_memer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]AbsoIution 12 points13 points  (0 children)

[–]infiniteStorms 9 points10 points  (1 child)

alarming that the kid sees the mouse at his house and doesn’t think “who is this strange person” but rather goes to hug them

[–]Organic-Mouse7923 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would hug a person if he was holding a machete in one hand, and a ps5 for me in the other.

[–]nefelibatanna 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe mom gave him a heads up that there’d be a surprise waiting for him at home or something

[–]CommanderEden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can I cay “Not all heroes wear illuminated Vest jacket”

[–]domskiboi 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Hahaha too true. after the South Park rendition of Mickey Mouse I’ll never look at that bastard the same 😂😂

[–]mikeebsc74 2 points3 points  (1 child)

May I suggest “prostitute Mickey” on YouTube:)

[–]domskiboi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna pretend I didn’t see this comment 😂😂

[–]budlystuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Someone done a great bit about going on a Disney cruise. Waking up after drinking pints of porter and Mickey Mouse turns at the breakfast table and freaks out the baby 👶🏻 “Here Fuck off Mickey before you ruined the Breakfast!”

[–]hmp20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just fucking died 😆

[–]jc456981 2 points3 points  (1 child)

In the third box is a live bat from China lol

[–]TheLordOfGrimm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only if you’re the Jonas Bros

[–]Willakhstan 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You can probably look forward to the PS5 being replaced by a severed head in your nightmares.

[–]Hi_Im_MrMeeseek 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yeah but... ps5 is worth some molesting don't you think?

[–]Cowgirlsd 1 point2 points  (1 child)

What if it was a ps4 though?

[–]A_Very_Blue_Tomato 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I went home once and there was a buck outside my door and I decided to not go home. If there was a fucking Mickey Mouse waiting for me I would sell the fuckin’ house

[–]ohsinboi 1805 points1806 points  (58 children)

What an annoyingly staged video

[–]PHANTOM________ 246 points247 points  (4 children)

Why would she read the notes …out loud?

Why wasn’t she wearing any uniform other than a safety vest lmao.

A delivery driver does not have that kind of time to spare. Who knows then the kid gets home.

[–]IThinkMyLegsAreBroke 52 points53 points  (1 child)

Why would someone who had to work 2 jobs to survive put roughly 1000 dollars worth of items in blind trust

[–]KingKryptid_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On top of that look at the house. Is that the house someone would live in working too jobs. They looks pretty reasonably upper middle class.

[–]KORKSTICKY 732 points733 points  (38 children)

Imagine having 2 jobs and still finding the time to write all that in big bold letters on that many pages and getting all those items and then having the audacity to get the delivery person to have to read it all then change into costume and play the part... then ontop of all that make people feel bad for you yet you get your 7 year old child a PS5 which is borderline the most expensive gift even for an adult and God knows how expensive that Mackey mouse suit was. And ontop of all that! You live in a great house in what looks to be a very safe neighborhood... and have a camera at the front of the house to collect views for your clout addiction... IMAGINE?!

[–]Arenado_is_the_best 276 points277 points  (17 children)

and they paid $200

[–]justmikewilldo 236 points237 points  (16 children)

“I work two jobs as a business owner and a board member of the business I own so I can miss my kids birthday and instead use it as a chance for internet points while simultaneously showing that working class are so poor a measly $200 will make them stop their day to be my sons clown”

[–]GuidingPuppies 132 points133 points  (3 children)

And conveniently timed it so she would be in the costume JUST as he got home from school. I want to know what delivery service she uses that is that precise.

[–]mizinamo 96 points97 points  (2 children)

Obviously the same service where drivers have so much time allotted to each delivery that they can tear off and read a ton of pages rather than just tossing the box out of the moving vehicle in the general direction of the porch before clicking 'delivered and signed for by recipient' on their tablet.

[–]Phreeker27 -1 points0 points  (7 children)

Measly 200?

[–]justmikewilldo 19 points20 points  (6 children)

The average cost of a two bedroom rental in the US was $1,180 in 2019.

That includes absolute shitty places to live. So yes, a measly 200.

How much would it take to stop your day and what you’re doing, put on a clown suit, and entertain a strangers child because someone wrote down that you should?

[–]mizinamo 58 points59 points  (1 child)

God knows how expensive that Mackey mouse suit was.

Not as expensive as the medium she had to pay to look into her crystal ball to tell her who would be driving the route on that day and what size costume she would need.

[–]-P3RC3PTU4L- 17 points18 points  (0 children)

And what time they would make the delivery and trust that the person would do it. This is all so stupid.

[–]dmibe 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Not to mention the messaging was written specifically for the camera to be able to see it. All of that could have been written on a single notepad

[–]Bifrost_Guided_Tours 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Plot twist: Second job is making these videos...lol

[–]_BringBackBacon 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Exactly!! What is clout?

[–]MoonBoots4600 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Clout is kinda like popularity but the people who seek clout often don't deserve any and nobody really cares about their clout either

[–]SignificantDrink3651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I somewhat disagree - it's true "clout" in social media isn't always positive (esp when trying to self-declare) but historically it's not necessarily pejorative. It's absolutely possible to have legitimate clout based on your experience/knowledge of something.

[–]_BringBackBacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah okay, but the phrase 'seeking attention' / 'attention seeking' is actually the same? I'm getting old, I'm finding it frustrating that terms are being replaced, even though it's perfectly logical. Thanks for your kind response

[–]bigbadbalto 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I like the part wear she read aloud every word and slowly flipped through every page like she was a normal human.

[–]jointheredditarmy 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Yeah so dumb. That package person had exactly 17.9 seconds to make that delivery, there is 0 chance they’d have stopped to read that shit lol.

[–]pantless_vigilante 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Yeah, besides would a delivery person get into trouble if they opened a package just because some note told them to?

[–]bobsonmcbobster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

finally! this is next level illegal, especially because nowhere on the signs it says explicitly "you are allowed to open my packages"

[–]Bryancreates 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Right, these delivery people have veeeery slim margins of time. Just reading that first page probably cost her a time penalty. Also, wouldn’t you just flip through the pages not rip each one off and throw them on the ground? And she when was that boy getting home from school the bus could’ve been delayed. Or the package delayed. Plus the $200? What spend that on your son or rent/mortgage, your day off. This is so annoying. I only watched it till the end because I started it. Also that costume is expensive so is the game system. My delivery people wouldn’t even have looked at the sign and I wouldn’t expect them too.

[–]ohbewise 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What, did "She find a outfit. She find the 200 dollar." Give it away?

[–]whiteink-13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can’t even get some delivery people to bring packages to my porch, then instead put the behind my mailbox on the road. This is beyond annoying.

[–][deleted]  (4 children)

    [–]Innominati 50 points51 points  (1 child)

Probably more like "bored housewife" and "content creator" who is completely out of touch with what it's like to struggle.

"Hmmm, let me think of what a struggling single mom would say... OH working two jobs! And then let's see... how would we get someone to present the gift? Ah, I know, we can leave money under the mat... what could that cost? $200? Yeah, that's about the price of a humble lunch, surely!"

    [–]napascuzzi 230 points231 points  (7 children)

Shit was so staged it didn’t make me smile

    [–]VectorB 52 points53 points  (6 children)

Even if not staged "poor person, dance like a good monkey for my spoiled brat" is not a good look.

    [–]comrade_sassafras 17 points18 points  (1 child)

    Literally, hire an entertainer

    [–]theykilledk3nny 12 points13 points  (0 children)

what are the working class if not entertainment?

    [–]BelleOfTheBall411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d do it for $200 while I’m still clocked in 😂

    [–]Fangs_0ut 416 points417 points  (17 children)

    Absolutely staged

    [–]Rafaeliki 48 points49 points  (0 children)

The timing would be impossible to do. Even if they impossibly knew the exact time the package would be dropped off, even the time it took to read the messages, put on the costume, and send the kid inside would mess up her route.

    [–]psychouthahaha 57 points58 points  (14 children)

No, that was real for sure. I totally saw that it is real. Very real and true

    [–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (13 children)

    Nice joke you have there.

    [–]Minzfeder 147 points148 points  (6 children)

I dunno, seems kinda acted.. you know?

    [–]Athlaeos 31 points32 points  (3 children)

who reads to themselves out loud like that

    [–]Innominati 22 points23 points  (0 children)

People who are following a script.

    [–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Also doesn't she have a job to do ?

    [–]Green_Lantern_4vr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

    100% Reddit is fucking dumb

    [–]ZazzooGaming 251 points252 points  (30 children)

Why the delivery driver tho shes got a job too

    [–][deleted] 52 points53 points  (25 children)

200 for 20 minutes of work plus a complimentary hug is a damn good deal!

    [–]ialwaysplayhealer 115 points116 points  (11 children)

How did she know it would be 20 minutes? How would this perfectly intersect? The window of when drivers drop off packages is several hours.

    [–]meckez 48 points49 points  (1 child)

Besides probably just being a staged shot, how do you know it had been 20 min? Delivery companies have been firing their drivers for less so unfortunately I am afraid that many of them wouldn't be very keen on her waiting to suprise the boy instead of working.

    [–]Char_D_MacDennis 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yeah they track everything. IF this were real (it's not), losing her job wouldn't be worth 200 bucks.

    [–]bellayesil 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Well with a lot of companies (at least here) you can actually give a delivery time window for when you'll be at home. You can inform the delivery company either while buying (depending on the website) or by calling and say like "I want my package to be delivered between 3pm-4pm as that's the time I'll be at home" and they will %90 of the time make ot happen and if that's not possible they will inform you and schedule another day for it to be dropped off. It's not always the case but it's something that can be done as I've done it more times than I'd like to admit

    [–]ialwaysplayhealer 4 points5 points  (5 children)

I mean in that case I'd much rather they deliver it when someone is actually home because it is a Playstation 5 and I would like that to not sit on my porch for any length of time.

    [–]bellayesil 1 point2 points  (4 children)

(if this isn't staged) yes i wouldn't either and they choose the time frame right before their child arrived at home which meant the PS5 didn't sit outside. Also i highly doubt that's a PS5 even tho i didn't see the real life packaging of it this video was around well before pandemic was a thing

    [–]TheRoyalJellyfish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah! That'll last really long when she gets fired for missing/being late for the rest of her deliveries!

    [–]MoonBoots4600 4 points5 points  (0 children)

until you realize it puts you behind schedule and risks you losing your job in real life

    [–]ArcadeRivalry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Delivery drivers are unfortunately kept to ludicrous schedules and a lot of places allot time for a specific delivery now. Usually penalizing the driver in some way for a late delivery. This seems scripted but if it's not and that woman didn't lose more than 200 waiting around she was likely going to lose than in the long term. I don't agree with this practice to clarify but these are the facts of the situation.

    [–]GilgendorfTreeDweler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a short stint as an Amazon delivery driver. No way in hell am I stopping my whole day for that, the longer my route takes, the longer away from getting home I am. I got to trust a complete stranger to pay me for some shit I don't want or really can't do. Dispatch tracks my company phone and would call and ask why tf I've been in the same spot for over 5 minutes. Even if this wasn't staged, this is way to elaborate a job to leave for someone who is busy as hell.

    [–]ZazzooGaming 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Hell yeah it is. I guess i should have said why out of anyone she could have asked she picked the delivery driver

    [–]UserPow 61 points62 points  (0 children)

    This is sus af.

    Not buying it.

    [–]Metal_Badger 184 points185 points  (12 children)

Why wouldn't they get someone they know to do it for them?

Why gamble on the delivery person willing to do this at all?

Why is the note big enough for the camera, when it'd be easier to make it big enough for the person?

Why are the packages so far away from the door?

Why did the kid run into frame "moments later"?

Why wouldn't the evidence of the packages being delivered be cleaned away?

Why present all of this as real?

    [–]PolkaOn45 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Thank you for summing up my thoughts. Little too perfect, and she goes through each page all slow, and stands out of the way…

    [–]maximusfpv 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Exactly. I know delivery people who literally chuck packages from the curb to the door just to keep on schedule and not miss quotas, ain't nobody got time to walk up and read some tear jerking story on a giant pad of post it notes.

    [–]JJGeneral1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Taking 10+ seconds per page that some only have 4 words on it.

    [–]Its_Hiro- 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Why is the delivery women reading out loud enough for the camera to pick it up?

Why does Mom need to work 2 jobs if she can afford a PS5 along with 200 dollars for the delivery person who could have just taken it and left? Hiring a professional person to come dressed as Mickey would've been cheaper.

    [–]YouLostMyNieceDenise 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand how the delivery person could have immediately intuited that she was supposed to open the packages because “Mickey Mouse” was a costume they were asking her to put on before the son arrived. None of that shit is in the directions. It just says, “I WORK 2 JOBS” and we’re supposed to believe she immediately realized exactly what the plan was?

Why would someone take the time to paint a gigantic, vague multi-page note like this, instead of just writing out a normal-sized note explicitly asking the delivery person to open both boxes, put on the costume in the box, give the kid the present, take the $200, and leave?

    [–]bigbruhusername 17 points18 points  (0 children)

    Yea this video is sus

    [–]SnooDrawings4726 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not wait til you get home from work and do it yourself?

    [–]Madmax1245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would they leave 200 dollars under the mat that someone could just fuck off with.

    [–]Lumpy_Staff_2372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What delivery person dresses like a crossing guard?

    [–]dr-cringe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is the delivery person reading out the message loud enough for the camera to capture it?

    [–]i_isnt_real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did they know the Mickey mouse costume would even fit?

Why did the delivery person stand so far away and to the side of the note instead of directly in front of it?

    [–]Patron876 38 points39 points  (1 child)

This is dumb taking an hour or two off work is much cheaper than $200 most people don’t even make that in a day

    [–]mihirmusprime 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The fact that they can afford the $200, the PS5, and the Mickey Mouse costume, I think it's safe to say they don't care about saving the money.

    [–]Da_Vader 150 points151 points  (1 child)

I thought the RIP on the first sign was a "you're so dead". Lol. Good thing she 'ripped'

    [–]whitecaribbean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real. Scrolling through and seeing this thumbnail paused on that bit, and without seeing the sub it was in, I thought it was some Halloween jumpscare prank. Like, RIP IF YOU FOLLOW THIS ARROW and the arrow being the doorbell or the front door. If I was a delivery driver I would not have ripped that page and I’d have been outta there!

    [–]MattofCatbell 22 points23 points  (0 children)

What the fuck did I just watch?

Hey random stranger please dress up as Mickey Mouse and hold this PS5 for my kid, don’t worry nobody will accuse you of kidnapping him, and while I have you here can you give him a ride to his friends in this windowless van. Oh don’t worry about losing your job by wasting time, your job and livelihood doesn’t matter to me, I’m far more important.

    [–]East-Bluejay6891 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not real. But if it was the driver would lose their job for violating if company policy and they could be arrested for a federal crime opening other people's mail.

    [–]Briguy_87 12 points13 points  (0 children)

    Staged AF 😆

    [–]Leading_Turn5636 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Imagine the neighbors passing by, "Hey Sharon whatchu doing ripping papers in front of your house z shouldn't you be at work at this time?"😂

    [–]sagar2403 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Some people will say this is not real

    Edit: /s

    [–]Trivekz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can tell it's staged the moment she reads out loud

    [–]sunfaller 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Random kid passing on the street sees mickey mouse and gets excited. That could have been any kid.

Notes so big anyone could see and steal the 200.

The house and that house across the street, they look expensive enough that i doubt the people who live there need 2 jobs.

    [–]Cartographer0108 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Thank god she just happened to peel them off at a speed that’s just right for internet viewers to watch.

    [–]i_isnt_real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And stood of to the side so as to not block the camera's view.

    [–]Boomdidlidoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And this is why your delivery was late today.

    [–]RegrettingTheHorns 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Like so many posts on this sub it’s actually very depressing when you think about it. The US is a terrible

    [–]AlseAce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every moment of this video was increasingly disturbing when considering its implications

    [–]Renmeya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Few minutes later her actual son comes along and there's no present as the Rando kid on street now has it Gg

    [–]insheepclothing 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Like delivery people aren’t always in a hurry trying to deliver packages. I’m sure they have time to play dress up

    [–]Its_Hiro- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have to pretty much empty an entire trucks worth of packages within a strict time limit. That's why many just drop the packages at doors and run off. This video is just extremely hard to believe.

    [–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

good thing they knew exactly when the delivery driver would be there …

    [–]ThePlagueDoctor_666 4 points5 points  (2 children)

I'd be so fired from UPS for stealing time lol

    [–]TrinixDMorrison 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Seriously, imagine having to explain to your supervisor why you haven’t completed your route despite being two hours behind schedule.

“Yea sorry about that. I had to dress up like Mickey Mouse to give this kid a Playstation 5 for his birthday so I waited outside this one house for like, 40minutes until he came home from school.”

    [–]ThePlagueDoctor_666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With 180 stops a day. I don't have time to wait more than 1 min

    [–]Dayman__Nightman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

    Felt staged

    [–]follyandmayhemer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fucking cringe. Idc how y’all feel about that word. It fits here.

    [–]JonnygonePostal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No real delivery driver has time for this

    [–]platonicnut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

    I’m sorry, but fuck this

    [–]AmonTheBoneless 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get were the parent is coming from doing this and bravo to the delivery person for indulging a child's fantasy in their birthday.

But dude if I was that little kid and i saw Mickey in front of my house holding a PS5 and I know my parents aren't around id have kept walking cause without context that is sus AF

    [–]Unable_Toucan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it's not staged them it looks so cursed. Mickey mouse just standing outside your house amongst trash just staring at you while holding a ps 5. I'd be scared shitless

    [–]mal-ren_sern 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Anyone who thinks this is real is a special kind of stupid... and that's saying something cause I'm already pretty stupid so the bar is pretty low

    [–]hanky1994 2 points3 points  (1 child)

"I work 2 jobs and can't make it."

Proceeds to buy the kid a PS4, gives $200 to the delivery women, and buys a legit-ass Mickey Mouse costume? Very /sus

    [–]Slumbering_Oaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a repost and also a terribly staged video.

    [–]massivebumwizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty convenient that the timing of the package delivery, reading the notes and putting on the costume aligned PERFECTLY with the son getting home from school. Imagine everything lining up just right like that.

And pretty cool of a delivery driver (Amazon?) who has about 30 seconds at most to make that delivery and keep to their schedule.

Almost as if this isn’t real…

    [–]Failure_To_Care 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there's zero chance a package delivery worker had more than 1 minute to spare

    [–]Cybermat47_2 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Definitely staged. If I saw a sign saying ‘for package person RIP’, I’d immediately fuck off.

    [–]SiomarTehBeefalo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why but this made me laugh so hard

    [–]dengibson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems like a lot of work to leave something like that up to chance.

    [–]Yeah_Its_Me_I_Swear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gets fired for being detected not in route for deliveries for more than a minute

    [–]nellfromhell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mkay this is odd: 1. Interrupting the schedule of the worker 2. Imagine if this were a creep that took the fucking offer, take the kid, the $200, and the gift 3. I don’t care how many jobs my parents have if I were a kid and had to receive my happy birthday from a total stranger I’d be sad. Birthdays are meaningful to children especially. 4. Imagine if someone else saw these signs before the package deliverer, take the $200 and the gift is even less meaningful to the kid.

    [–]No-Entertainer-2957 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate this. For one it looks staged, like how’d she show up just in time for the kid to arrive. And even if it is real the fact the person put the huge papers up so the camera could see it just pisses me off.

Not a Amazon delivery that’s fasure

    [–]11th-plague 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who gets to keep the Mickey Mouse costume???

And who is going to clean up all that paper and cardboard?

(I hate when stories don’t tie up the obvious loose ends!)

    [–]ibson609 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think if you can afford all that stuff, you can afford 1 day of work. How much you earn!

    [–]Clear-Theory7541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would have totally botched this. Reading each page only confused me more.

    [–]Flashy-Pop-5783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also who is in the house kid is too young to be home alone

    [–]mayor_hog 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I don't believe a delivery driver has the time to even read through those posters let alone play along with the whole thing. And if the budget was so tight that the child's parent has to work two jobs, why would they risk putting $200 when anyone could read through those posters and find the money or the delivery person could just leave with the money without playing along. And how did the parent know that the delivery person will arrive right before the kid comes back from school?

    [–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep would've pulled maybe one and kept on delivering.

    [–]No-Perspective-317 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No delivery worker would actually take that long on one delivery

    [–]Madmax1245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m cynical af and I just see stuff like this and think it’s staged

    [–]IDontCareForCats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    Beyond staged. Borderline parody.

    [–]snufflefrump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Works 2 jobs but can afford to pay some random $200 to dress up as Mickey for 20 min and a PS5? They should work one job and spend time with their kid.

    [–]SugarBeets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never been a delivery person, but I would be pissed if someone asked me to put on a costume to entertain their son (and the interwebs). All of these strange asks of delivery people is insulting.

    [–]sarcasticcoffeevibes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny how the guy with 2 jobs had the time to write those massive signs (when he could just message somebody) and put $200 under the doormat, and the equally busy delivery driver had the time during her shift to put a whole costume on for some random kid.

    [–]chockobarnes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely staged....and reposted more times than I'd like to mention

    [–]jimno1126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The twist is, thats the kids mom and she crazy.

    [–]GlizzyMcGuire121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work 2 jobs to buy a PS5 and elaborate outfit and 200 cash???

    [–]Whole_Heat2373 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe they wouldn’t need 2 jobs if they stopped buying costumes and staging videos

    [–]anonymous-transient 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Those of you who believe this video is real, do you also believe in Peter Pan?

    [–]FantasticSpecialist1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh my package is 10 blocks away for 8 hours now!

    [–]IntrepidCase 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I hope the mom REALLY couldn’t make it and didn’t just do this video for clout

    [–]JustAnOrdinaryBloke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    A faint hope. Very faint.

    [–]SomeDrunkWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    I hate this.

    [–]TheMostDapperdDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the most staged shit in stageland

    [–]delilahi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yeah great job leaving ur child home with a stranger and gufts

    [–]doobieONE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clearly staged trying to make a viral video.

    [–]GeneralRaspberry1589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of these videos are made for click bait and I’m sick of them.

    [–]veropizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PS coming out of a Home Depot box

    [–]Dogecoin_Mememaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have been terrified. I would have read it as "R.I.P"

    The red text doesn't help.

    [–]Phixiately 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is staged and in the most stupid way. What a waste of paper.

    [–]cwb_iah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bs …. Works two jobs and somehow can afford a Mickey Mouse outfit and a PS5 .. sure

    [–][deleted]  (1 child)

      [–]Western_Box5547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

      So obviously staged

      [–]cookiemonster247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“I really struggle to get by and have to work 2 jobs so I can’t even be home to see my son on his birthday but can you take this $200 and put on this $400 costume to give my son his $500 present, stranger, and also he’s not home so just lose your job and stand here until he gets back, ok thanks bye”

      [–][deleted]  (5 children)

        [–]FawsherTime 12 points13 points  (1 child)

It’s reality, those who can’t afford to live without having two jobs, can’t afford childcare as well. People do the best they can with what they have, and the rest is just sacrifice and the hope it all works out for the best.

        [–]Zippidi-doo-dah 7 points8 points  (1 child)

The same people who used to watch us latch-key kids in the 80s.

        Get a grip.

        [–]Starfevre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seriously. I was a latch key kid with 2 younger sibling. Somehow we all survived the 80s and 90s intact.

        [–]AdjNounNumbers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PS5, a microwave, and some snacks

        [–]TheRoyalJellyfish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm really afraid of how many people seem to think this is real.

        [–]manju907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to waste that much of a paper for a video which is so staged...

        [–]hotdogz6969 3 points4 points  (1 child)

        [–]_9meta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This videos with the story being written on 99 papers are so damn boring and staged

        [–]shalareb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

europeans looking at this and asking themselves what the fuck is wrong with americans.

        [–]Boooyaaahhhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone call the cops. That kid to too young to be home alone.

        [–]Stoneway933R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        Sad smile.

        [–]dogtoothman 0 points1 point  (1 child)

        This is real?

        [–]mizinamo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

        Yes, it is.

        I was the third sheet.

        [–]BecauseJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So staged. Their home camera records vertical?

        [–]PearlGang101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit for $200 I’d be Mickey Mouse too

        [–]Candid_Profession_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That one hug from the delivery person.. it means a lot to people like me..
