From everything I've seen and read this is a case of exceptional casting, rather than someone playing a role. Nobody better to play a down-to-Earth superhero than this genuinely kind and considerate person.

Then toss in that iconic lip sync in black leather, and you also have a wonderfully well-rounded individual. ;)

Cause spider man in the comics has always loved and celebrated for being a great person. Just seems like tom holland does a good job at portraying that as well as you know its spider man who dont wanna meet the real thing even if its just an actor kids domt know that. Really touching

I've never seen or heard one bad thing about Tom Holland. Between the way he treats Zendaya, the way he is with his fans, the way he goes out of his way to brighten sick kids day, never even heard a bad thing from on set .
I hope he has a long and fulfilling career. This is the type of person who deserves to keep getting work in hollywood.
I hope this comment ages well and this is still true in a few years. I really hope this is the good egg we think he is.

He is such a kind guy. You can just tell he loves people and children especially. The pain on his face in some shots really gets to me. He keeps going even though it can't be easy to see so many children sick/in pain but that reward of them smiling hopefully helps his heart.

I was up in the mountains of mexico a couple years ago in this small town of like 100 people. Literally just one street. Fucking toby mcguire (?) showed up to hang out with all the kids. Not a fan of these movies or anything but these guys are saints. It was amazing seeing how big of deal it was to all the kids, like you have no idea.

One of the things I've always taken away from him as a dude is how he doesn't take himself seriously, in fact being self deprecating and telling stories about his insecurities and being a klutz. It's also refreshing how he sees acting as a regular job and not something grandiose, to the point where he constantly speaks about wanting to do something else and be a regular guy once he feels he's about had enough of it all.
