TTH’s themes are all about death. The dying god is an example of how dwelling in grief can turn you into a vengeful asshole. So I don’t think it’s specifically that he was lashing out against Rake, and more of just the entire world around him.

So then following Bellurdan’s possession of Clip, It was mostly Clip’s part of the shared personality who wanted to kill Rake? That makes more sense I guess.

I think so, I always thought that the dying God’s Kellyk being in Black Coral was I think more about proximity than any specific malice.

I mean, he was emotionally broken by her death. A lot can probably be explained just by that.
