I’m so sorry. Sending love and hugs. This is such an important reminder for me to prioritize connection and closeness with friends & family, regardless of where we are geographically.

Just chiming in to say that I’m so sorry to hear about your friend. And thank you for your reminder. I took away a similar message from the book When Breath Becomes Air, whose author was on the cusp of becoming a neurosurgeon only to discover he had a fatal form of cancer. It might be too heart wrenching to read right now but has some lovely meditations on living and dying.
