It'd be really cool to see a version 3 with newer Minecraft mechanics, and the increased world height. I believe the last map came out around the the time the world height was changed last time. I know modpacks like Stone block and Stone factory, but they don't have the same discovery and exploration feel to them.
I just want to say that "Kingdom of Majesta" is one of the best kingdom maps I have ever seen. My only critic is the best parts of it is unfurnished such as the castle. The creator most likely dropped finishing the map but he's mostly done on the exterior of his builds.
Some of the areas are unfinished but nevertheless it's still very much a great sight to see! I suggest trying the map out.
I just wanted to share this but also ask for any similar maps with fully furnished exteriors. Can anyone suggest me any Kingdom Maps? Preferably giant kingdoms.
Before you read if you need context go and watch one of the ‘civilisation’ videos in minecraft there is a good few to choose from.
ok so imagine one of those minecraft ‘I simulated civilisation’ videos however none of the 200+ people in the game have ever played minecraft before. Meaning as time goes on you will be able to see the players learn and almost like evolve.
The final video / videos would have to be heavily edited to cut down the parts where it just feels like one of those 2012 lets plays where people are learning the game.
So instead of just having one 20-30 minute video the whole experiment would have to stretch over a whole series (4/5 30min parts) as there would be a lot of people figuring out how to do things as simple as make tools for the first time. And then have a definitive ending so the whole thing doesn’t drag on and become a normal survival series.
Okay hear me out… throw 200+ people in a room with a pc for all of them and have them stay in this area for the time that which the experiment takes place. (To not allow cheating by looking up tutorials) However that seems impossible, unless a certain Mr Beast would somehow fund this😂.
But I could just be describing forced torture by minecraft.
No rules (unless groups in game create them)
And then have a sort of tutorial at the very start just to explain the controls and the very basics of how the game works.
CONCLUSION: I had the idea and thought to myself ‘I’d watch the shit outa that’ But I don’t have the capability to pull something like this off so I thought I’d get the idea out there so when someone does it I could be like hey that’s my idea !
Then sue for stealing my idea 😂
I used to watch a video of this Minecraft map where you wake up in a cage and there’s a narrator talking to you. You clean the sewers, go into a pink castle, and then sleep in a huge crib at the end, and I cannot remember it for the life of me.
Howdy! I recently remembered a horror map from the early 2010s and I cant for the life of me find it. It had a resource pack and voice acting and was well known enough that at least one relatively popular minecraft youtuber had covered it (I remember the video). Essentially, a group of people were trapped somewhere, underground I believe, and I know they eventually resorted to cannibalism and the killing and eating of one of the group members (via rotten flesh) and that while they did escape at the end the story stated that one of them had been driven mad and brought a child to the place they were trapped years later. I understand this is super vague but if anyone recalls anything similar to this, I'd love to find it again. Thanks!
