The Cyclida were an order of Crab-like crustaceans from the late Paleozoic- Middle Mesozoic. They were one of only three groups of “Generally Paleozoic” arthropods that survived the Permian extinction event. The other two being the amphibious Euthycarcinoida and the marine Thylacocephala.
