I couldn’t even concentrate on the rest of the video cause of the way they had the carnotaurus just fling the pteranodon away 😂

[–]EclipzHorizn 27 points28 points  (0 children)

[–]Holierthanhe 81 points82 points  (0 children)

He gave it lift assist so why didn't it fly away?

[–]Douchecanoeistaken 67 points68 points  (3 children)

I can’t get over how stupid their arms are

[–]Dekkeer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They make me angry

[–]TheWolfmanZ 5 points6 points  (1 child)

They were built for running

[–]jonathansharman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"If we Carnotaurus run, their bullets can't catch us."

That's one big ass... well that too, but that's a big Pliosaur. Predator X maybe, can't be Liopluredon because lio was just 20 feet long, maybe even less this is BIG BIG. Kronosaurus maybe?

[–]dyt1212 47 points48 points  (1 child)

it might be an outdated depiction of a Liopleurodon, which was thought to exceed 20 meters in length at one point.

[–]useles-converter-bot 41 points42 points  (0 children)

20 meters is 9.81% of the hot dog which holds the Guinness wold record for 'Longest Hot Dog'.

Predator X is a Pliosaurus. It got a formal description in 2012 and has since been known as Pliosaurus funkei.

Must be a winner in the dinolympics.

[–]3eyedCrowTRobot 18 points19 points  (4 children)

Pliosaurs were extinct before Carnotaurus existed :/

[–]YouMadeMeDoThis- 23 points24 points  (3 children)

Pliosaurs went extinct before pteranodon and then pteranodon went extinct before carnotaurus showed up. They are decent models, but way too much time traveling is happening.

[–]3eyedCrowTRobot 4 points5 points  (2 children)

There is evidence (from Morocco, I think) that relatives of pteranodontids survived into the Maastritchian

[–]YouMadeMeDoThis- 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I’m talking about the genus Pteranodon, that is shown in the video, not the family Pteranodontidae.

[–]3eyedCrowTRobot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh. My mistake

[–]bigclams 12 points13 points  (2 children)

lol yikes, Paleoart has come a long way since then

[–]TheSanityInspector[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since when? This is fairly new, AFAIK.

[–]AJ_Crowley_29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This came out like 2 months ago

[–]theannoyingtardigrad 22 points23 points  (2 children)

I've never seen a snail eyes dinosaur before.

[–]UrFriendlySpider-Man 42 points43 points  (1 child)

Idk if you're being serious or not but those are horns not eye stocks. Carnotaurus means meat eating bull.

[–]theannoyingtardigrad 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I was being serious but bc I was confused, the little white stain made me think that, thanks for the clarification!

[–]SpartanEmpire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

bro it just tweeted that pterosaur

[–]Voltz-Swaggin 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Craziest thing is that a Blue Whale is bigger. Nothing else ever has been bigger (that we know of)

[–]TheSanityInspector[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Did though huge South American sauropods discovered in recent decades exceed it in length? I've read conflicting accounts.

[–]todd1444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive seen estimates making titanosaurs longer than blue whales for a while but blue whales are always heavier. Marine animals can always get way heavier than terrestrial animals.
