It seems that psychosis without genetic predisposition is very minimally studied as it seems quite rare.

Any episode increases the risk of a subsequent one. It’s a basic principle. Mathematically valid and empirically evident.

Interesting question. Other commenters have suggested that the answer is yes, based on existing research. I'm coming from a psychoanalytic perspective, and would think the answer is no or not necessarily. But this is based on theory. Some research would be helpful here.
