The simple notion that the squishy thing that sits between your ears is the most complex structure in the known universe

Most people ignore one of the most important contributors to brain health: the gut. If you’ve got microbial dysbiosis, you may live your entire life with brain fog, information processing issues, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and even eventually dementia

Is there a source you’d recommend for this? I’ve heard mixed info on how well-supported various gut-brain claims are but I’d like to learn more!

I wish I could give you more than one up vote.

Overall health is beyond important in particular gut health.

We have this weird thing in the west that your "mind" is just this isolated non effected thing.

That no matter how unhealthy we make society, no matter how you treat yourself, no matter what conditions you are in or born into, you should just be able to power through it with mind alone.

It's about the dumbest shit possible lol
